Outer Banks Season 2: Plot Details!

The second season will kick-off right after the cliffhanger ending of the inaugural season. John B and Sarah managed to survive the storm. However, the Carolina islanders already assumed that both of them died in it. Before the departure of John, he passed a crucial message to the authorities. Anthony Mackie also expressed his wish to return in Altered Carbon Season 3 in his interview with THR. He said, “I hope I get the chance to bring Kovacs back again succeeding season. I’m clearly not ready to leave the series. Acting in Altered Carbon was one of my greatest work experiences ever. I never had a rough day at work the entire time.” So, everyone, the fans, casts, and creators are just hoping that Netflix will soon greenlit the third season.

The fans can expect Takeshi to return with a new face in the third season as he sacrificed himself to kill the Elder. At first, it looked like he won’t return anytime soon. Takeshi Kovacs Prime (Takeshi’s clone inhabited by a copy of his brain) is assured of becoming the show’s lead. However, in the concluding moments of the previous season, Poe recovers after being shut down and realizes that he has a raw human DHF hidden inside his memory. Later Poe and Dig learned that the DHF is none other than Takeshi. 

Now in Altered Carbon Season 3, the viewers will find out how much this Takeshi recognizes and what body he will be formed up to next. The creators will continue to maintain the three-act structures from the novel series in the screen adaptation. I vow to God.’ And he was like, ‘You know what? Fuck it. I’m just going to do it, I’ll start writing it,’ and I was like, ‘Yes! Good! Start drafting it!’ So if you haven’t yet, Lionel, checkmate. Start writing it!”

Will The Sequel Ever Return?

The sequel became the talk of the town after that interview. However, no news regarding The Man From U.N.C.L.E. 2 ever came out after it. Additionally, the previous movie’s box-office records would also be a problem for the sequel because the film like this will demand another luxurious budget. And it isn’t very likely that Warner Bros. will put so much money in this franchise again. To be honest, the chances are very low for the fans to watch the fifth season, ever. The fourth season ended the storyline and tied all the loose ends. And the manga readers also think that it is better to end the series because extending the storyline will ruin the ideal ending and the storyline of the previous four seasons. Therefore, the arrival of Tokyo Ghoul Season 5 solely depends on its writer, Sui Ishida. If he decides to continue the manga with a new plot, the anime series might return.
