The program transports viewers back to their school days, emotions, families, and anxieties through the characters’ perspectives. Because of this, although fictional, the program and its characters have a genuine sense of reality.

Detroit served as the setting for the first season of the show. During the season forensics handled Mellany’sMellany’s case, and police launched an inquiry to identify the perpetrators. Given that Mellany is Bolo’sBolo’s niece the forensic investigator cautions the police to locate the perpetrators as quickly as possible to prevent the discovery of further victims. To obtain information regarding Mellany’sMellany’s passing, Bolo tortured Vic and killed him later. 

 To track down the offenders the police force goes undercover. However, all they discover are the narcotics, and the criminal flees by leaping from the top. After going into hiding, Luger is followed by the police department’s pursuit of several drug traffickers in the city. Bolo dispatched his guys to locate other federal agents who would also search for him. While hunting for a place to remain in the dark, Murda never leaves Lunger’s side. 

At the conclusion of the season, the police department discovers Alex and the gang in hiding and demands the information they’ve been seeking. There is not much information available about the storyline of McGraw Ave Season 2. But we assume the show to continue the story after the events of the season.
