The Orville crew is set to explore the mysterious corners of the galaxy after a 3-year long hiatus. And finally, The Orville Season 3 will debut on Hulu for the first time. Renewal And Production Status!

Fox renewed the third installment of The Orville soon after the second season concluded in May 2019. Moreover, the filming for season 3 began in October 2019. However, it had to be halted in March 2020 due to the COVID lockdown. It was reported that the filming for half a season had concluded before the halt.

Later, the filming restarted in December 2020 but was again suspended in January 2021. The production then resumed in February 2021 and finally wrapped up in August 2021. Seth MacFarlane and Jon Cassar were the directors of The Orville Season 3. Also, Norm MacDonald will be appearing for a final time as Lt. Yaphit. Unfortunately, he passed away after completing the voice-over work in September 2021.

The Orville Season 3: What To Expect?

Unfortunately, the original timeline was distorted in the previous season. So, the Orville crew tried to get the timeline to its original state by taking away Kelly’s memories. They had to make this crucial decision after Kaylon had conquered half the galaxy and destroyed Earth from the face of the universe.

The crew was determined to stop the chaos and bring life back to normalcy. And the only way to do it was to erase Kelly’s memories using a particular protein. Moreover, they managed to rescue Orville from the Mariana Trench. After which, Claire traveled into the past to take away Kelly’s memories. Eventually, Claire completed the mission and restored everything back.

Now in The Orville Season 3, the crew will continue their exploration of the galaxy while navigating between the mysteries of outer space, along with dealing with the complexities of their lives. They will try to rebuild during the aftermath of Kaylon’s attack. It will also decide Issac’s fate after he betrays his tribe and joins the Union. Who Will Return For The Next Season?

The latest teaser images have given us a fair idea of how the cast for The Orville Season 3 would look like. Seth Macfarlane will return as Captain Ed Mercer along with Adrianne Palicki as his ex-wife, Commander Kelly Grayson. And this season’s new cast members will be Bruce Boxleitner as President Alcuzan and late Lisa Banes as Senator Balask. Miguel Leaves For Mexico To Find His Father

The romantic relationship between Johnny and Miguel’s mom, Carmen, flourished during the fourth season. However, it was hard for Miguel to see his Sensei dating his mom. Moreover, Johnny really tried to keep things normal with Miguel. However, his need for a father figure really flamed due to Johnny’s pain to make things right with Robbie. He referred to Miguel as Robbie after being beaten down by Silver and getting drunk.

Terry Silver Takes Over Cobra Kai

After winning the Grand trophy at the All Valley Tournament, Terry Silver announced the opening of Cobra Kai dojos all over the valley. However, Kreese was the one who found Cobra Kai. He also saved Terry’s life while they were in the army in Vietnam. But throughout the fourth season, viewers saw a tussle of power between Kreese and Silver. 

However, while Kreese focused on the tournament, Silver framed a plan to get Kreese out of his way. He beat down Stingray, who came to rejoin the dojo. Moreover, Terry manipulated Stingray to blame John Kreese for his bruises. Towards the end, while Terry and Kreese shared a drink, the police approached and arrested Kreese for assaulting Stingray.

Will Daniel And Johnny Close Their Dojos?

The deal between Cobra Kai, Miyagi-do, and Eagle Fang was that Kreese would have to close the dojo if Cobra Kai lost. But if Cobra Kai won, then Daniel and Johnny were supposed to stop teaching. Unfortunately, Cobra Kai turned out to be the overall winner. 

However, Daniel is not ready to let Cobra Kai poison the whole generation of youngsters in the Valley. Daniel has asked for help from his The Karate Kid 2 rival Chozen, with whom he reunited during his trip to Okinawa in season 3. They met each other at Mr. Miyagi’s grave in the finale of last season. Thus, Daniel and Chozen will team up together to fight Terry Silver. However, they are not aware that Kreese has been arrested. Therefore, the tensions are bound to rise at the beginning of Cobra Kai Season 5.

Drummer worked with Walker to obtain Free Navy supply depots. Meanwhile, Marco and the Free navy discovered that the Rocinante was on its way to ceres Station. Marco had a plan to catch them off guard through a surprise attack. The commander was not in favor of the attack, but Marco convinced him. Filip was left in charge of the weapons during the attack, with conflicted thoughts in his mind. Suddenly, Naomi discovered patterns of ship appearances and immediately informed Holden about it.

Marcos ordered Filip to shoot at the Rocinante. Holden and the team tried to defend themselves while Filip kept on firing. Eventually, Bobby took an opportunity to shoot back at them and disabled their fleets system. Bobbie wanted to finish them off, but Holden wanted Marcos alive.

Holden then asked Marcos to surrender, but he refused. Eventually, Bobbie shot another missile at them, but it turned out to be a dud. Holden had disarmed the missile because he wanted Marcos alive. So, Marcos and Filip escaped and acknowledged that both had failed. Marcos relieved his son from his duty. Meanwhile, Marcos received a positive update on the testing at the ring in The Expanse Season 6 Episode 3.
