A lot of crucial changes have taken place in a span of three years. Conrad is not working as a doctor at the hospital anymore, while Gigi is five years old now. She asks Conrad if he is going to the hospital. Conrad gives a surprising answer that he doesn’t work at the hospital anymore. Luckily, he is still in touch with his former colleagues. He is seen visiting them at the hospital.

In the upcoming episode, Conrad will bring a new patient to the hospital. However, the presence of this patient will lead to a security crisis in The Resident season 5 Episode 6. Also, a struggle between two MMA professionals will lead to one fighter getting a Chatain. The whole team of doctors will focus on saving the fighter next episode.
