Archie Panjabi Joins The Cast

Undoubtedly, the series’ main cast will return to continue their journey on Snowpiercer. These include Daveed Diggs as Andre Layton, Mickey Sumner as Bess Till, Alison Wright as Ruth Wardell, Katie McGuinness as Josie Wellstead, and Lena Hall as Miss Audrey.

Rejoice fans! The Circle seems to live on Netflix for a more extended period. Before the third season could start airing, Netflix ordered not just one, but two seasons of the show. Apple TV+ recently revealed the first trailer of season 2 of The Morning Show, teasing the return of Alex Levy after the brutal first season cliffhanger. It opens up with UBA boss Cory Ellison goes to a house covered with snows where Alex exiled herself. He attempts to bring Alex back to the UBA through his dramatic edict- you are the only one who can save us. From there, the scene switched to the workplace constipation that escalates after Alex’s return.

Now, Alex’s return threatens Bradley Jackson’s position. It seems she will try everything to secure her place. As in the trailer, Cory tries to explain to her that he will resolve everything because he’s her boss. But, she quickly utters that she thought he was a friend. It further ratchets up when Bradley calls for the “friend’s reference,” who seems to be Witherspoon (Alex’s younger sister). Elsewhere, Alex seems broken and trying to cope with her personal chaos while bringing new ideas to save the UBA.

Will Address The Pandemic

As the trailer continues, it focuses on early 2020, hinting at the beginning of the pandemic. While the first season focused on sexual assault in the workplace, the second will portray the present-day crisis. Well, the media played a crucial role during the period. However, it would focus more on the fallout from the journalistic exposé, which was left unfold in the last season.

In late August, Apple TV+ dropped the full trailer of the second season, hinting at the series’ air date. It will air next Friday, September 17, exclusively on Apple TV+. It follows an aristocratic Bridgerton family as the first season explores widow Violet’s first daughter Daphne’s love story. With Queen’s favor, Daphne meets Simon, who tries to save his bachelordom with Daphne’s help. But he ends up tying the knot with Daphne.

Bridgerton Season 2: Duke Of Hastings Could Return

After making the shocking headlines that Regé-Jean Page won’t return as Duke of Hastings, Page finally teased that he might not remain absent for longer in the sophomore run. In an interview with British GQ, Page hints at his possibility to return as Simon Bassett. However, while the magazine asked about his possibility of a cameo in Bridgerton Season 2, Page slyly said he couldn’t tell about it.

But he didn’t deny the possibility of his return as he said it isn’t amazing about getting something you haven’t thought for. Though he didn’t clarify anything, his ambiguous statement teases that Simon could return in a surprising element. Well, in the book’s most iconic scene, Pall Mall’s unusual game changed Anthony’s perspective of Kate. In which Daphne and Simon played a huge part. Now only time will tell if season 2 will portray this iconic scene.

Page Doesn’t Count Himself As Season 2’s Cast

While the second book hints that Page perhaps makes a guest appearance, it still doesn’t make him feel like a part of the cast. He told that he respectfully left the cast WhatsApp group. He said the universe has now expanded, and he no longer feels the part of it. So instead of putting them in an awkward situation where they had to make the unpleasant decision to kick him out, he himself left the group.

The filming has just resumed following the July production halt. But sadly, despite following the strict COVID-protocols and restrictions, the new cases on the set have halted the production. As per the reports, the showrunners stated that it’s embarrassing not to be able to move forward in the filming. Now the show won’t resume until they receive further notice.
