In fact, Ingilmundr convinced Aethelstan that he could undo his sins by serving God even more.

Martha has been a huge part of The Last Kingdom for quite some time. She has written both seasons 4 and 5 and was also a part of Seven Kings Must Die. Hence Martha was the best person to learn about Aethelstan’s sexuality. She told the outlet that no evidence suggests his sexuality. In an interview with Sharon Kay Penman, The Saxon Stories author Bernard Cornwell explained how he came across Aethelstan’s character. He opened up about his initial inspiration for making King Aethelstan gay in Seven Kings Must Die. He said in history records, Aethelstan never married anyone, and even he didn’t have an heir. However, it was quite shocking and unusual as the king desired to leave an heir. But Aethelstan was different. Bernard also mentioned that Aethelstan loved to decorate his hair with golden ringlets, and there was some evidence that made him believe King Aethelstan was gay.

However, Uthred’s oath was the reason why Aethelstan never had a wife or an heir. Uthred did this so that after Aethelstan, the legitimacy of the throne could pass down to his younger brother. However, the Father covered everything and gave that kid Ha-jun’s name tag. It finally revealed the reason behind Ha-jun’s distant nature and how he became a part of the cult. At the Rainbow Taxi headquarters, Go-eun informed the team that the drug’s name was GHB. The person who consumed this drug couldn’t remember anything but follow the instructions given by others. Whereas in the club, Ha-joon learned Do-gi was alive.

Call It Love Episodes 15 & 16: What Will Happen Next?

The upcoming episode will finally solve the mystery related to Woo-ju’s father’s will. Now Dong-jin has that will, and he tells her mom about it. He informs her that per the will, the house belongs to Woo-ju and her family, and his mom has no right to it. In fact, she can’t even sell the house without Woo-ju’s permission. It pisses his mom off. Meanwhile, Woo-ju gets advice to take Hee-ja to the police station and let her confront them. But she doesn’t want to do it as she doesn’t wish Dong-jin to suffer. However, Dong-jin approaches him and informs her about the will that can help her and solve the indifferences. It later escalates the drama as now Dong-jin’s mom is on the edge of breaking as the cops are approaching her.

But she will find a way to escape; however, things will turn challenging for her in Call It Love Episode 16. Dong-jin’s mom will leave with no choice but to seek help from her son. She will ask him to forgive her and let her live the life she wants. However, it will be tough for Dong-jin to forgive her after learning what she has done with Woo-ju. As for Woo-ju, she will be glad to know that Dong-jin has taken her side and will defend him in front of her family, who still see him as their enemy. However, the path to their reunion will be challenging as Woo-ju is relocating, and her mom doesn’t like Dong-jin. So will they come together in the end?

In the previous episode, Dong-jin learned about the truth. He asked Woo-ju why she didn’t inform him about it before. He seemed determined to take the house back, but Woo-ju stopped him. She asked him why he was doing all this, and he said he was sad for her. She started whining and apologized to him. He held her closer, and while sobbing, she told him that her family had learned about this, and now they couldn’t see anymore. Sun-woo tried calling Dong-jin, but he ignored the calls. He then texted Dong-jin and asked about his whereabouts while still thinking about his moments with Woo-ju.

Everyone prepared for the meeting at the office, but Dong-jin was absent. He, in fact, went to the real estate office and learned his mother had sold the house. He tried to reach her but was unsuccessful. Hee-ja then visited Dae-hong’s camping center. But he told her to leave. In the evening, Sun-woo spoke with Dong-jin, but he stayed distant. However, Sun-woo was worried and wondered if Dong-jin would leave the company. Meanwhile, Woo-ju was moving to a place far away from Dong-jin. The following day, Dong-jin met Dae-hong and talked about Hee-ja’s visit. He said she had left Woo-ju’s father’s will, and now it was with him.

A Quick Recap!

In the first season finale, Yeon and Imoogi fell into the river. The latter dissolved into it while Yeon managed to get out of it and saw Ji-A crying. He muttered that the love between a human and a fox always ended like this and got disappeared in the thick air. Soon the virus that plagued the nation was gone, and everyone fully recovered. As for Ji-A, she asked Taluipa to save Yeon’s life. But she refused that and informed her about their arfe rules. However, it didn’t stop her, and she sought help from the afterlife several times and tried to change their mind. On the other hand, Rang was in a depressive state. He was looking at the video of Yeon, which had a touching message in it.

Elsewhere, Shin-joo proposed to Yu-Ri, and she accepted it. Six months passed, and now Ji-A had finished her book. It was her birthday, and her parents gifted her a red scarf and another gift from Yeon. It was a white wedding dress. Eventually, she broke into tears after reading the note. Later Rang and Ji-A visited a fortune teller and asked him whether he could bring Yeon back. Surprisingly, Yeon was back and reincarnated as a human now.
