Rumors are continuously boiling up on the surface regarding the arrival of Darkest Dungeon 2. However, the fans have to wait till the “Stars are Right” for it. A recently released an hour-long documentary by The Escapist increases the excitement for the second installment even more. It’s been a long time since this game debuts, and the fans think it is the right time for the succeeding version to come. Darkest Dungeon is a role-playing video game. Red Hook Studios produced this game, which was published by Merge Games. This game made its debut for Microsoft Windows and OS X in January 2016. The Butcher’s Circus DLC: Online PvP Mode

The fans’ favorite game is getting a brand-new DLC update later this month. And it will allow gamers to play PvP Arena battles in a single-player game. The creators announced this update on the first day of April, and everyone took it as a prank. But now everyone is out of April Fools Day and getting this one hell of an update for real. Red Hook announced The Butcher’s Circus would introduce Arena battles “against your friends and enemies alike.” 

The fans will see a new place in the hamlet known as Butcher’s Circus once the player installed the DLC. The location is described as a weathered and bloodstained pavilion tent. It will serve as the venue of the PvP action. Here, players battle one another using teams of four heroes in an attempt to raise their ranks. Unique new trinkets can be used to gain a vital edge, and victory in battle unlocks banner components, enabling players to assemble their own duelist genealogy.

New Darkest Dungeon Documentary

The Escapist released a documentary which covers single high and low of this fascinating game. The Gameumentary movie covers the roots that led Chris Bourassa and Tyler Sigman to form Red Hook Studios, their Canada Media Fund denial, Kickstarter cast, design process, the soundtrack and narration, demoing Darkest Dungeon at expos, the January 2015 Steam Early Access release, and ongoing updates. 

The preparations for Darkest Dungeon are on full swing. And the creators think the same situation will arise again that they face after the launch of the debut version. However, this time they will be taking precautions and have better community management tools. In a recent interview, Sigman cleared out some doubts about the developers of the game. He said most of the people wonder why do developers care, but the thing is they care a lot, “especially when it’s their game.”

Darkest Dungeon 2: What To Expect?

Red Hook released a teaser trailer for Darkest Dungeon 2 in the previous year. The succeeding version of this game will be a full-fledged sequel with a better mechanism. The format of combat will remain the same, but some changes will take place to refine the mechanics even further. In the trailer, the fans can see The Ancestors narrating the whole promo. It is a brilliant formation as their lines were one of the best parts of the original game. They will be making their return in the second installment. The creators will add new character classes over time as DLC. 

The metagame of Darkest Dungeon 2 will be completely different from the inaugural one. It will take the players to a place known as “The Howling End.” The fans can take a glance at this place in the teaser. It looks quite dangerous and giving the fans some chill vibes. Recently, in a statement, the creators said Darkest Dungeon 2 would be about enduring a grueling journey, not cleaning up your backyard. Through the official twitter handle of the game, the creators informed the fans that they are working very hard on the second installment. Do The Creators Have Enough Source Material?

The main reason behind the hiatus is the lack of content. As of December 2019, The creators published a total of 21 manga volumes. The debut season covered seven volumes, whereas the second one continues the story until the sixteenth volume. Now the creators only have five volumes left for the third season. For One-Punch Man Season 3, the creators will need at least seven to eight manga volumes as source material. Therefore the production houses have no other options but to wait for Yusuke Murata to publish new manga volumes. 

One-Punch Man Season 3: Spoilers!

In the previous season, the fans witness the series first antihero, Garou. In the second season, Saitama also defeated Elder Centipede, and New Williams abducted Garou. The most awaited face-off between Garou and Saitama will happen in One-Punch Man Season 3. The fans are really hyped for the next season because of this face-off.  

The final moments of the previous season left a lot of openings for the third season by adapting the Monster Association arc. The arc begins to build around the fifteenth volume of the manga and is yet to complete until the last part. According to some rumors, the storyline will continue at least until a year throughout a few volumes. However, it is difficult to say if the third season will cover the entire plotline or not. Is Pandemic Legacy Season 3 Confirmed?

As of now, Z-Man Games or any companies related to the production of the game have confirmed the third season. However, it’s creators have been giving hints about its creation. Back in 2018, co-creator Rob Daviau revealed that he’s been building the Pandemic Legacy Season 3 prototype. In mid-2019, Rob mentioned in an interviewthat he and Matt Leacock (Developer of Pandemic and Pandemic Legacy) had completed the game design of the third season. He continued that the installment is currently in the hands of the publishers.

However, after that, neither Rob Daviau nor Matt Leacock talked about the release of the much-awaited season. Although that does not rule out the possibilities of Pandemic Legacy Season 3. Along with that, he owns the local jass club. Ballard is famous for his role as FBI agent David Sinclair on Numb3rs and Reginald Lennox II in The Catch. Along with them, Chris Greene, David Bianchi, and Sofia Lama and Alejandra Barrios will join Queen of the South season 4.

A piece of interesting news coming your way as HQ Trivia made a name for itself with live trivia games. This not only offers real cash prizes but over the past year, interest in the application has declined dramatically. Now, the company has announced that it will close and cease all operations.

First reported by TechCrunch and CNN Business, HQ Trivia had an agreement to be acquired, but the buyer withdrew at the last moment. Existing investors were no longer willing to finance the game, which forced the closure.

Furthermore, CEO and co-founder Rus Yusupov explained the situation in an email to all HQ Trivia employees. We received an offer from a business established to acquire HQ and continue to build our vision, we had final agreements and legal documents, and a planned closing date for tomorrow, and for reasons we are still investigating, they suddenly changed their position and, despite our best efforts, we could not reach an agreement. Unfortunately, our main investors are no longer willing to finance the company, and so effective today, HQ will stop operating and go into dissolution. All employees and contractors will be laid off as of today.

While the HQ Trivia had raised more than $ 15 million and reached its peak of popularity with more than 2.3 million concurrent players and more than 15 million installations. Within the company, however, there was resentment against Yusupov. More than half of the startup staff signed a petition to force Yusupov to leave the company in April last year.

With the decrease in downloads and the disappearance of brand associations, not to mention the expulsion of popular host Scott Rogowsky, HQ Trivia could not maintain the momentum it had accumulated in its launch. Yusupov wrote the following on Twitter after news of the HQ closure was known:
