Jonathan Frakes (Will Riker) recently talked about the plot of the third season in his recent interview. He said. “Discovery has essentially to do with Sonequa’s case, as you’ll see. At the end of the second season, we flash-forwarded, I think 930 years. Michael Burnham has found a distinct core, not to mention a new companion in crime (Book). So again, there’s a significant tonal shift on the show. God understands where she left as the Red Angel. So those two pieces coming back together is very much the theme of the upcoming installment.”

Alex Kurtzman, the executive producer of the series, also talked about the story of the third season. He said, “Part of what I love about the possibility of this season is that it is the untold chapter of Spock. And we can tell his story in this season only. Spock has encountered something in the signs and the red angel that has broken his rational brain. He cannot think it out, and he is emotionally ill to deal with it. So both reasoning and emotion break him completely, and he is not the character we know at the start. This is really about how Spock grows into that character and evolves into the Spock we know.”

Additionally, there is also a question about who will become the Captain in Star Trek Discovery Season 3. Lorca and Pike have already been there, but now that position is vacant. And Burnham and Saru are the current favorites to lead the team as a captain in the third season.

Therefore it might be possible that Netflix already renewed Selling Sunset Season 4 but now holding its official announcement because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The creators of the series informed the fans that they were lucky enough that the second season’s production got wrapped before the coronavirus pandemic hit the entire world. Kathleen Kennedy, the president of Lucasfilm, informed the viewers that they completed the production only five days before the global shutdown. In his interview with the Wrap, he said,

“Under the line? It was literally five days, and the nation went down. We were enormously fortunate, and then we didn’t wait to begin post-production. Even though we queried to what degree people could work remotely, our IT department and ILM had everybody up and moving within a week. They were operating from home and continuing to work in the cutting room and on visual effects shots.”

Actress Aghdashloo Revealed Production Details

While many series such as Grey’s anatomy and Arrowverse were cut short recently because of the ongoing Coronavirus, it looks like Expanse season 5 won’t be one of them. Recently actress Shohreh Aghdashloo, who plays Chrisjen Avasarala on the show, took on to twitter to spread some good news for all the Expanse fans. She confirmed that they have already completed the shooting for The Expanse Season 5 before the deadly pandemic shut everything all around the globe. Aghdashloo shared the news as she thanked Zoom for letting her interact with all the castmates even when they are all at different places in this lockdown. Amazon has not yet revealed anything about the release date of The Expanse Season 5. However, we can make some educated guesses as when we would get to see more episodes of the show.
