Is The Show Renewed?

It has been some time since the first season of Northern Rescue. This show isn’t a Netflix original. It airs on CBC in Canada as well. Neither of the streaming platforms has said anything about Northern Rescue Season 2. Hopefully Season 2 of the show will receive renewal soon. The show has received very positive reviews from fans and critics. We will have to wait and watch if Netflix or CBC would renew it or not. Fans can be very hopeful. In a recent interview with The Sun, James May, along with his other co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, explained why they are delaying The Grand tour Season 5. He says that the pandemic has complicated everything. It has complicated the future of the show. The new safety measures have restricted them from entering or traveling through many countries. It has all limited what they could have achieved. 

May says that the lockdown has forced them to withdraw their ambition to travel. The question isn’t that they can get into an airplane and just go somewhere. The problem is, will they be able to do anything even when they go there? The show- The Grand Tour has a big crew. They have huge kits with about 10-15 vans. They go on and talk to people. But now they can’t do any of that, and they don’t want to compromise with anything. He continued to say that they will rather wait longer than rushing into it just because they want to release the show. When they would come back, they want to come back in whole power. 

Where Will The Show Go Next?

In the same interview, May suggested that they would film somewhere like Ireland. He called the place exotic for many viewers around the world. May says that they could start thinking someplace like that. He went on to say that while many people would struggle to go to a place that looked better than Scotland, for The Grand Tour team, it is on their doorstep. Not just that, they also have Cornwall, Dorset, and Wales. They could also use the Ring of Kerry in Ireland. James May says that there are all sorts of very lovely places without them going very far from where they already are. Assuring the fans, he said that The Grand Tour Season 5 is postponed, not canceled. 

It looks like all The Grand Tour Fans will have to wait for some more time before they get season 5. However, it will be all worth it. It always is. In an interview with The Guardian, producer of the show- Berna Levin says that Young Wallander is a prequel, and they are also reimagining it. They will never take him anywhere where fans would think that they would end with Wallander as they already know him. 

Netflix’s Young Wallander moves in the backdrop of modern Sweden. It is very different from the original novel, which is set in the 1970s. The series follows Young Wallander, who has a dark and traumatic childhood. As a teenager, he had seen a horrific murder in the city of Malmö. The end of the first season confirms that Wallander has not moved on and is rather traumatized by what happened. When he again witnesses the murder of a colleague, he decides to quit. However, he isn’t able to do that, as his story keeps taking him back to the police work. He is dedicated and even obsessed with his work, and that does not let him leave. 

Young Wallander season 2 will bring more crime mystery cases as Wallander goes around them and solves all the puzzles. We cannot be sure about what is coming up because there is a number of hit Wallander novels, and creators have a lot of material they can create further seasons from. 

How Is The First Season Received?

The first season of Young Wallander has received mixed reviews. While some fans loved the show, others have criticized it vastly because of the cast. Even after being a Swedish show, Young Wallander misses any Swedish actors. The only Swedish face we get to see on the show is Adam Pålsson, who plays the role of younger Kurt Wallander. Other cast members are mainly English with London accents. More followers criticized the show for not being filmed in Sweden. Young Wallander was shot in Lithuania.

What Is The Show About?

Boys Over Flowers follows Geum Jan-di, who comes from an average household and meets Jun Pyo, a wealthy and arrogant kid at the prestigious Shinhwa High School. Pyo is the leader of the F4, which is a bad-boy gang. He is always with his three rich friends- Yoon Ji-Hu, Song Woo-bin, and So Yi-Jung. One day this F4 gang bullies a kid that pushes him to the urge to commit suicide. However, Geum Jan-di comes in, saves the kid. She receives a scholarship that enables her to study at the expensive Shinhwa High School. 

Geum Jan-di is a poor girl whose family runs a dry-cleaning business. She lives in a very small house, along with her parents. She has a younger brother. When she comes to school, she does not like the F4 boys—this distaste leads to the hate relationship between Jun-Pyo and Jan Di. Jun Pyo often singles her and targets her, but the strong Jan Di always stands up to him. 

Things move forward, and in a very unexpected way, Jun-Pyo realizes that he has started loving her. However, things aren’t the same for Jan-di. She starts developing romantic feelings for Yoon Ji-Hun. But later on, she comes to know that Ji-Hun loves someone else and wants to be with her. Over the season, viewers get to witness several love triangles and complications as these characters go through several emotions of romance and friendships. 

Boys Over Flowers Season 2: Will There Be More?

It doesn’t look like we will get Boys Over Flowers Season 2. The K-drama is based on the Japanese manga with the same name. The show got a Taiwanese adaption and two Japanese live-action drama. Not just that, It also got a South Korean adaption and a Chinese adaption in addition to many other Japanese anime and movie versions. 

While fans wanted more of the show, it doesn’t look like that will ever happen. A fan speculation says that the show portrayed the female lead Geum Jan-di spineless and the show ended with her being in a very toxic relationship. They wanted to see better things for her. This was the end because that is how the original manga ended. Of course, the additional chapters that tell the future are excluded. All the other adaptions of the manga ended in a similar way too. 

While all fans wanted Jan Di and Ji Hu to end up together, that didn’t happen. They weren’t meant to end up together. Instead, Jan Di and Jun Pyo end up together the way they did. They had a hate-meet, fought with each other, and finally fell in love after defeating all the problems. It has almost been ten years since the show released, and creators have not spoken anything about Boys Over Flowers Season 2. The Crown Season 5: Release Date Confirmed! 

This comes as the good news. Netflix has confirmed that The Crown Season 4 will release on November 15 this year. The filming of both seasons three and four were done back-to-back. This means that The Crown Season 4 was already in production when the third season was released in 2019. As a piece of good news, the show had almost completed the shooting before March 2020; the time pandemic locked down everything.

In August, the creator of the show- Peter Morgan, revealed that their team has decided not to film any more footage and work with what they already have. In an interview, he said that to hit their pre-decided release schedule for The Crown Season 4, they need to start working on editing and finalizing the episodes. Things are only taking more time because of safety regulations. It looks like all of it is done and will reach our screens soon.

The third season of the show took on the time around 1964. It saw Harold Wilson’s election, becoming the Prime Minister and ended with the Queen celebrating her silver Jubilee in 1977. It looks like The Crown Season 4 will play in the backdrop of the era of the 80s and 90s. Thatcher served as the Prime Minister from the time of 1979 to 1990. We can assume that we will get to see more of Thatcher on screen.

Will There Be More of The Crown? 

In January 2020, Peter Morgan revealed that he thinks that next season, that is, season 5 will be the last season of the drama series. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, he said that when they started the show, he had thought that they would make six seasons. But now that they have started working on the stories for the fifth season, it looks to them that it indeed would be the last season of the series. Morgan thinks that it is the perfect time and space to end the story. 

However, this change of heart only happened in July 2020, as they have confirmed that they will stick to the original plan and spread the show over six seasons. In the interview, he said that when they started discussing the storylines, they felt that there was a lot of complexity and richness in these stories, and they should just go back to making six seasons. With that said, he made clear that the plan to do six seasons does not mean that they would bring the show closer to the present day. They would just give them more space to show the same period in great detail.

When Will The Show Release?

NBC officially renewed Manifest for the third season in June 2020. The show’s renewal was delayed a bit. Also, fans had started wondering if the show would come back even before it was renewed. Showrunner Jeff Rake revealed that this delay was because of some off-screen negotiations between Warner Bros. and NBC. Now the news has surfaced that Manifest Season 3 will release next year in January 2021. However, it is still unclear how the team will start productions amid the pandemic.

What Could Be Coming Next?

While we don’t have any specific details on what could come up on Insidious Season 5, there is a lot of speculation on what it could be. Some reports suggest that Insidious 5 could be a spin-off of Insidious: Chapter 2. By the end of that chapter, Elise’s ghost follows Specs and Tucker in their new case. While they are working on the new case, Elise gets scared by what most fans believe is a Lipstick Face Demon. This demon has haunted Lamberts and also took away their son- Dalton, in the first movie. 

The demon was never really killed. He had just lost his ability to enter the mortal world using Dalton. If he finds another way to get into this world, he might come back to avenge his defeat from Lamberts. We hope that the Lamberts have their memories of this demon intact so they can save themselves. Elsie’s ghost might help Lamberts again. 

Writer-Creator Leigh Whannell To Step Back

There are a number of questions about Insidious 5 among the fans. There are many questions about the possible return or not that fans haven’t got answers to. However, there is something we are sure of. Leigh Whannell, who has been a big creative influence for the first four Insidious movies, will no longer have any association with the series. Whannell has written and acted as the co-producer of all these movies. He has also directed the third film of the franchise. However, now it looks like he is walking away. 

In an interview, Whannell says that he thinks it is very unlikely that he would be involved in Insidious 5. He expects to get a call when and if the team decides to make more of the movie. He indeed enjoyed being with the franchise for so long, but now he does not think he has anything else to offer. The creator thinks that it will be better if someone else could lead these movies. The writer did not speak of a name who might take over the films. 

Insidious 5: When Is It Happening?

When Insidious: The Last Key, released in 2018, the movie became a huge commercial and critical success. After the success, rumors about a possible Insidious 5 started making rounds. Reports revealed that the biggest reason behind this idea was a huge success. Back in 2018, Gamespot reported that Jason Blum from Blumhouse Productions has said that they might be adding another movie in the series. But that was a thought they were fighting with. The fourth movie was tagged as ‘The final chapter,’ and that gave the impression that it was the end of the series. But now they might bring more. 

However, now in a recent interview, actress Lin Shaye said that it is possible that Insidious 5 would never happen. She has been quite positive about the movie throughout. Earlier she had said that the story for Insidious 5 will be very different. They don’t have a script yet, but they do have an outline worked out. However, now, Shayne seems to have lost that positivity. In an interview, Shaye spoke about Insidious and her character Elise Rainier. Talking about it, she says that they have told Elise’s story and thinks that it is all done.

Is The Show Renewed?

FX had renewed Snowfall season 4 even before the third season was released. The show has been doing exceptionally well on both audience and critics’ meter. The renewal news surfaced in August 2019, and the production for the fourth season started in the last of 2019. However, the shoot for the show was incomplete when everything came to a halt. Keeping in mind the reviews, Netflix green-lit the show just after a month of release. In July 2019, Netflix issued the renewal statement for Season 2. The official Netflix France twitter account posted an update that said On passe au 2 feuilles. Family Business reviendra pour une saison 2. This meant that Family Business is coming back for season 2.

Family Business is a French web series exclusively created for Netflix by Igor Gotesman. The show follows Joseph, a bright man who fails as an entrepreneur. He along with his family works as a kosher butcher. However, he isn’t satisfied with what he is doing and keeps on exploring more ideas about different businesses. Soon he comes to know that weed is being legalised in France. He then decides to close his butcher shop and open the first ever marijuana coffee shop in France. 

While there have been absolutely no details on what could happen in Season 2, we can expect it to pick up exactly where the first season ended. We might get to see the struggles and journey Joseph and his family look forward to in order to open the coffee shop. There is a possibility that things might go south for them, or they might succeed in their plan. Whatever happens there, we know that it will be very interesting. Here is the trailer !

When Would The Show Release?

Back in February 2020, reports revealed that the creators had started shooting for Season 2. While everyone thought that they wouldn’t have completed the shoot because of the pandemic, now the reports reveal that the show had already completed the filming before everything paused.
