The Society Season 2: Last year around this time, Netflix had released the first season of its new young adult drama- The Society. The first season of the show left all fans crying for more. The Society Season 2: What Is Happening? 

Back in March, the team of ‘The Society’ had revealed that they were in the final stage of pre-production for the second season. Shows are getting back to productions, and creators have started making new plans. However, it does not look like The Society Season 2 team will get on the sets. Creator Chris Keyser On This News

In a recent interview with Deadline, the creator of the show Chris Keyser said that this was a rough cancellation. He said that they were in for the second time this year; they were getting ready to start the production. Everyone had waited very long for the show and to be together again. Keyser says that saying goodbye abruptly is the hardest thing that he has had to do in all his career. He went on to add that they always knew that challenges were coming up for them because of the pandemic, but this cancellation wasn’t something they had expected. One of the major reasons why this cancellation news hit everyone even harder was because of the way the first season had ended.  

Not just the creator, but the whole cast is upset about this too. Kathryn Newton posted a video on Instagram saying how heartbroken she was. Not just her, but actor Gideon Adlon says that it feels like a punch in the gut. Along with the cast and the creators, fans are giving similar reactions to this cancellation news. Keyser says that he is overwhelmed with the outpouring love and support they are receiving from the fans. He says that the reaction fans are giving them is wonderful. They feel great about this love. It would have been perfect to be alive, but it feels good to be missed, he added. The first season of the young adult show had ended with a toe-curling cliffhanger, and the thought that we might never get to know the answers seems quite haunting honestly.

Will There Ever Be A Second Season?

Of course, there are a number of possibilities around The Society season 2. The show has been recently canceled, but it also has a huge fan base. Not just that, the team has already done the pre-production work. So, it is very much possible that some other streaming services might take up the show for further installments. The team had started filming last January in Slovakia, and it looks like the team is very happy about that decision. While we do not really have any specific details about what could be coming up in the show, the producer of the show, Morris Chapdelaine, says that the European adventure they took for Van Helsing season 5 gave them some of the most beautiful things they have ever shot. So, we know we will indeed get to see some castles in the fifth season. 

Another tease we have is from showrunner and executive producer Jonathan Lloyd Walker, who spoke about the issues they had to face to get back to shooting amid the ongoing pandemic. He revealed that after they shut-down the production, the team has spent about 12 weeks trying to find a way on how they must come back. 

Talking about when Van Helsing Season 5 would release, the creative producer of the show- Chad Oakes, says that he isn’t sure that the network would announce any information before September. Yes, this is a good news for the fans. Keeping Faith Season 3 is happening. This January 2020, the creators announced that the show has been green-lit for another season and is coming soon. The show releases in two languages- Welsh and English. The series is in the name- Un Bore Mercher on S4C.

Amanda Rees, the channel director there, says that she is thrilled that the show is coming back. She called the show a pioneering drama that is hailed as one of S4C’s original. It is an award-winning thriller and has the backdrop of Wales’ most beautiful scenarios. Keeping Faith has indeed raised the profile of Welsh Dramas globally, says Rees. Adding to the statement, Nick Andrew, the head of commissioning at BBC Wales, says that the show is a fantastic one, and he is delighted that it is coming back for a third season. 

While this news has delighted the fans, there is a piece of bad news too. Keeping Faith Season 3 will be the last season of the series. The show is concluding with it. Keeping Faith Season 3 has already completed shooting. 

What Has Happened So Far?

In the last episode of the second season of the show, Faith Howells went out to find the woman who could stop Madlen’s conviction and stop killing her husband. Things turn to a different route when the odds stacked up against Faith. Madlen admits that she was the one behind the killings and all of the Faiths’ husband Evan’s truths come out. On the other side, however, Gael Reardon flies out of the town in a plane. Even after that, Gael hadn’t got the taste of Faith’s wrath as the mother and a wife who was in an intense argument with her spouse. 

Things got so bad that Evan had even tried to stab himself with the kitchen knife. Faith tells him not to create a drama in front of their kids. Eventually, Evan decides to pack his bags and live them once against. In the last few seasons of the show, Faith goes and shares a very heartfelt scene with Steve Baldini, a long time friend, and potential love interest on the beach. 

What Else Do We Know About Season 3? 

What we know more about the show is that the main cast, including Eve Myles, Bradley Freegard, and Steve Baldini, will be coming back for the third season. Oliver’s award-winning actress- Celia Imrie, will join the cast for the third season. The show has been filmed in two languages, Welsh and English. In an interview, actress Eve Myles revealed that it feels like they are sieving the scene through their English brain and then Welsh Brain. It gets quite hard to give both the languages 100 percent. They try to do that, though, they also try to jump from one language from the other. It is tiring but incredible, She says.

Renewal Status!

It has been more than a year since the second season of The Gifted released. After that release, Fox had decided to cancel the show, and hence we don’t know if we will ever get Gifted Season 3 or not. One of the reasons for the cancellation could cause a fall in the viewership of the show. Back in 2019, Matt Nix revealed that ‘The Gifted’ was one of the lowest-rated shows. It did bring huge viewership to the network, either. Nix even said that since the show had a primetime slot, the network wanted to do better than it already did.

The show has been able to bag critical acclamation, but it does not look like the audience liked the show much. The live airing numbers of the show had dropped in the second season. Numerically, the first season of the show had about three million viewers, but it started dropping eventually. The second season had dropped below two million. As the second season reached its end, the show had only a viewership of about 1.6 million viewers, which is almost half of what the first season had.

Will ‘The Gifted Season 3’ Ever Happen?

Fox has already canceled the show, but it is still possible that some other network would pick the show and make more of it. Earlier on, the creator- Matt Nix had said that they have future seasons already planned, and he was quite sad about the cancellation. So, if some other streaming service plans to pick the show and move forward with it, it is very much possible that we will get to see ‘The Gifted Season 3.’

What Could Be Coming Up Next?

The second season of The Gifted did hint towards ‘The Gifted Season 3.’ By the end of the second season, the creators had introduced “oMens,” where Blink had opened a gateway that would show what the apocalyptic world would be like. She even invited some mutants to go with her. So, that could be the opening for ‘The Gifted Season 3’. In an interview, Nix revealed what he would like to play out in the third season. He says that he would really like to explore a world where humans and mutants start living separately. It will be interesting to see how Mutants police themselves when they are on one side. Nix says that it would be interesting to see how a community of mutants who have different agendas and powers living together.

The second season was so much about all these different sections debating about how they would deal with the humans, and would they get an opportunity to explore mutants as they take positions in which they will have to deal with everything themselves? Will there be a question of moral obligation in a larger picture for these mutants? With the kind of powers that they have, they might have an obligation that they might have to use for other people and also for themselves. It is something that would play out in ‘The Gifted Season 3.’

Santa Clarita Diet Season 4: Netflix’s zom-com as the creators call it- Santa Clarita Diet has been a very successful show. It has been bagging love from viewers in and out. Three seasons of the show are already out, and fans have now started wondering if we will get Santa Clarita Diet Season 4.

Created by Victor Fresco, the show follows Sheila and Joel Hammond, who lead their life in the suburb area of Santa Clarita in L.A. They have a teenage daughter Abby. Everything starts to change when Sheila goes through a dramatic change that pushes everything apart for the family. Mysteriously Shiela becomes a zombie who has to live off human meat. The story is about how they make their way through this. The show first released in February 2017 and followed a season every year pattern. Will we get Santa Clarita Diet Season 4? Santa Clarita Diet Season 4: Renewal Status

After three successful seasons of the show, Netflix has decided to pull the plug for Santa Clarita Diet Season 4. The show was indeed something fans wanted to see more of, but it does not look like Netflix wanted to make more of it. Just like the viewers, the creators are also sad about the cancellation.

In an interview, creator Victor Fresco and Kautsky spoke about their disappointment about the cancellation. In the interview, they said that as their audience, they are also all in for Sheila and Joel. They went on to say that Joel and Sheila’s relationship in the face of incredible adversity. The story was inspiring to watch and write. The story was funny, and the comedy is important. The two have also praised Netflix for their support of the show.

Why Was The Show Cancelled?

Fans of the show were furious about this cancellation. Netflix does not really speak about why they canceled the show. However, we do have some clues on what it could be. Earlier, Cindy Holland, the head of original content on Netflix, spoke about why the streaming giant decides to cut short. She says that everything is a combination of things. When Netflix invests in something, they decide how much they need to invest based on how the audience will or will not show up. If the audience isn’t interested in the show, they don’t think they have the reason to continue the show. As far as Santa Clarita Diet, there is no viable reason they want to pump more money into it. So, this could be one of the reasons why Netflix canceled the show.

What Could Be Coming Next?

Netflix has canceled the show, and there is a very slim chance of it coming back. However, given the popularity, it is also possible that some other streaming services might pick the show and make more of it. There are certainly a number of storylines that Santa Clarita Diet Season 4 could have taken into account. The third season of the show ended on a cliffhanger. One major question that fans want the answer to is what happened after Sheila sunk her teeth into Joel’s neck. By the end of the third season, we also know that Joel would become a zombie. So, the repercussions of that would be seen in the fourth season of the show. It would surely affect Joel and Sheila.

Production Details & Release Date

The first half of Lucifer Season 5 recently released on Netflix. Reports suggest that Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 is all set to get into productions this September 24. While the production company hasn’t yet announced the release date of the second part, we know that the part will have eight episodes. Given the ongoing situation, we can say that the creators will take everything slowly. Keeping all of that in mind, we can say that the show might release sometime in 2021. Recently DC FanDome released a clip of the show that sees Lucifer and his LAPD buddies perform a rendition of Queen’s Another One Bites The Dust. The clip has a backdrop of an American college sports field with a team of football players, brass band musicians, and cheerleaders getting into action and dancing on their choreographed dances. In an interview with The Wrap, director Richard Speight Jr. a Supernatural alumnus says that he has learned that in supernatural theme dramas, the finale doesn’t really mean a lot. This does mean that perhaps Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 will be limitless and bring in a series of climax.

Madagascar 4: Is It Happening?

The third movie of the Madagascar series released in 2012 and was one of the biggest successes for the production company. After that, Dreamworks kept the series alive after they released a spin-off- Penguins of Madagascar in 2014. Later the same year, the production company confirmed that Madagascar 4 is happening. The movie was supposed to release in May 2018. Later on, the plans changes when Dreamworks Animations altered its policy for two movies a year. The fourth movie might see the gang moving back to Africa. Since we do not have a solid update, it is all still not sure. We must get updates about the movie soon.

Will It Ever Happen?

Right now, we don’t have enough evidence that proves that Madagascar 4 is happening. However, we do know that the franchise is a huge business and is very valuable. The movies so far have been able to bring about 2 million dollars for the company. This is excluding all the Tv and video games, spin-offs, and merchandise. So, there still a lot of hope that Madagascar 4 will be coming. What Has Happened So Far?

The first season of The Last Word sees Stephan Fazius and his wife Karla. The two are a happy couple where Karla sings to him about how she hates his mother, and how he eats his food and all the things that she loves about him. In the show, Karla proposed an anniversary roll. Stephan tells her that he is coming. She continues to make the old lady jokes as she moves around in the bedroom. When all this is going on, Stephan hits his head to the table. Karla thinks that it is a joke, but things get serious very soon. Stephan is dead.

This sudden demise of her husband brings Karla in a tough spot. However, arranging for the preparation of the funeral keeps Karla going. Their son Tonio is deep in his phone. And their daughter Judith has come back to Berlin in a long while. She has decided to separate herself from her parents. In a linear scene, fans get to see undertaker Andreas Borowski who is on his way to the Fazius’ apartment with his son Ronnie after getting a call from the family. He wants to get Karla everything she wants. This includes the brass band, a party atmosphere where they can celebrate Stephan’s life. She wants to write a eulogy.

Karla is struggling to write a eulogy, and then she finds out the Stephan really hasn’t left her with a lot of savings. She comes to know that the man does practice dental but hasn’t seen many patients over the years. Judith, Karla’s daughter, finds out about a commercial lease that Karla had no idea about, and then the woman finds a mysterious key that opens up to an art studio.

She runs to the crematorium to have a last look at her husband but only reaches there to see his casket being pulled in the oven. She is devastated. After her breakdown, she realizes that Andreas couldn’t find a eulogist and hence decides to do it himself. The eulogy is terrible. After that, Karla takes things in her own hands and does the eulogy she really wanted to do. Eventually, she realizes that she will have to make a living and hence decides to be a eulogist.

What is the show about?

The Last Word Season 2 might see Karla as she tries to deal with the existing rules and tries to set up her business as a eulogist. One question that the second season might actively as is, what Karla is trying to do, is it okay? She will keep questioning if there is even a right way to grieve? Furthering the question, she will also start wondering if there is a right way to grieve at all. One Last Word Season 2 might focus on Karla’s journey to discover things about herself as she tries to find the answers for right and wrong. The season will also see her helping everyone around her in unique, chaotic, and comic way.

The first season was a six-episode series that released in this September only. And it is too soon to say if Netflix will bring another installment or not. Future Man Season 4: It has been more than a year since we got to see Future Man. Ever since then, everyone has been wondering if there would be any more of it? Will We Get More Of Future Man?

It looks like Hulu has lost all its interest in Future Man. Last year in April 2019, the streaming platform renewed Future man for the third season. In a more complicated context, we could say that maybe Future Man Season 4 would have explored an out of the box story that isn’t very connected to the ongoing story background. They might try to show the futuristic soldiers trying to get into this ordinary world with Janitorial charge leading their way. However, the epilogue ruled out that possibility too.
