Some rumors speculated that one of the reasons was that she was unhappy with Young and the Restless’ then executive producer and writer Mal Young. 

Davidson Revealed The Real Reason

Putting an end to all these rumors, Davidson revealed why she left. In an interview with Soap opera digest in 2019, she announced that she had decided that she would leave about a year before she left. There wasn’t much for her to do with Mal. He wasn’t even the head at the time.

Davidson continued to say that she was feeling exhausted and really consumed with memorizing all the lines. She was doing a lot of homework on the weekend. She said that she had been doing all this for very long, and she wanted a break from being somewhere all the time. Hence she decided to leave. However, everyone at Young and the Restless was quite devastated with the decision.

Talking about Mal Young, she said that he was really disappointed with her decision to leave the soap opera. In the interview, she revealed that Mal was unhappy and sad. He told her that he loved writing for her and that she was one of his favorite actors.

Amanda Setton On Stepping Back From General Hospital

Amanda Setton, the actress who plays Brook Lynn on General Hospital, has confirmed that she is stepping back from the soap opera for some time. The actress is pregnant with her third child and hence will not be able to play Brook Lynn Quartermaine through her maternity period. In an interview with soap opera digest, Setton confirmed that actress Briana Lane is stepping in to play the character during her absence. 

In the same interview, The 34-year-old actress said that she and her husband are really thankful that they are expecting their third child. She indeed is very eager to get back to shoot for General Hospital, but doctors had advised them to wait. Setton continued to say that she loves being a part of the General Hospital family. 

Actress Briana Lane Coming On Board

Actress Briana Lane took on to Twitter to express her joy. She thinks that it is a privilege to be a part of this legacy, but it’s fun. The actress feels that she is filling some big talented shoes. She is coming to Port Charles as Brook Lynn Quartermaine. She will get to work with many gifted actors and a very kind-hearted crew. Lane called this a milestone opportunity and told how happy she was.

Setton Gives all her good wishes to Lane

Actress Amanda Setton says that she has missed all the writers, executives, and the cast members. She has missed them until now and will continue to miss all of that during her maternity leave. In fact, Setton was all praises for her replacement Briana. She said that she is very excited to see what Briana brings to the table for Brook Lynn. 

She continued to say that it will be a big challenge for writers and all the creative heads at General Hospital to keep all the things together. They have to keep Brook Lynn’s spirit alive for all the General Hospital fans. She went on to say that she is sure that Lane will do a great job and will only make the character fun and more complex. Setton says that she will be watching and rooting for the new face all the way.

The third season of the crack hit show- Snowfall neither ended with a fight nor an escape. The third season, however, left all viewers on the edge of their seats. The young drug kingpin, Fraklin Saint, was shot multiple times by his ex-high school sweetheart. All this happened after she suspected that Frankil had murdered her father. The episode explored many realities that, at some point, even started looking like a dream. Later on, the whole journey ended with a nightmare as we get to see all the negative effects of cocaine in South Central LA. In the third season, Jerome was harassed and beaten by the police. After that, he decided that he had to get out of the whole drug business. So, he opened a car stereo shop. Will Jerome be able to lead his life like that, normally? Everybody around him, including his Nephew, sister, and even his girlfriend, are all knee-deep into the business. Jerome wants to save all of them and mainly his nephew. So, what will he do in Snowfall Season 4? 

Who Will Be In Competition Next?

By the end of the third season, everyone at South Central is doing good. The question here is, for how long? In drug businesses, there is always someone who wants more. The Gifted Season 3: Is It Renewed?

It has been a long time since we last saw The Gifted. After two seasons, Fox has decided to cancel ‘The Gifted Season 3’. The possible reason for this cancellation could be the dropping viewership. In an interview with TVLine, Matt Nix revealed that the show was one of the lowest-rated and least-watched shows on the platform. He even said that since the show was a primetime network show, they would have wanted their ratings to be higher than they have. 

While the critics loved the show, the audience did not. The live airings of the show have dipped for the second season. The first season had around three million viewers. While the second season dipped below two million. By the end of the second season, the show only had about 1.6 million views for the finale. 

Will It Ever Happen? 

Fox has canceled The Gifted, but that does not mean that the show would never happen. It is indeed possible that some other networks could pick the show and order for additional seasons. In fact, the creator of the show, Nix had earlier revealed that they have plans for the further season. Along with that, fans seem to be very sad about the cancelation too. So, another streamer picking up the show doesn’t seem like a very bad idea. 

What Could Happen Next?

By the end of the second season of the show, the show did hint a possible season 3. The finale introduced “oMens,” where Blink opened a gateway that showed a glimpse of the apocalyptic world that was on the other side. She invited a few other mutants to go with her. 

In an interview, Nix said that he had ideas for a possible The Gifted Season 3. He hinted that the next season would be something that we could call informed by Days of Future Past. However, it won’t be a straight adaption. The first season introduced a conflict between Sentinel services and the heroic Mutant Underground. The second season broadened the scope for the show. They focused on the Inner Circle’s defeat. Then, the heroes started planning a new Mutant Underground. Is ‘Fuller House Season 6’ Happening?

This comes as bad news, the lastest and the fifth season of the series was the last season for Fuller House. Netflix has opted not to renew the show for ‘Fuller House Season 6’. Back in 2019, when the fourth season released on Netflix, the streaming giant announced that the fifth season of Fuller House would be the last. Producer Cameron Bure revealed that they were expecting that Netflix would at least give them one more year. They had saved many storylines that they hoped would playout eventually. Netflix canceling the show was a shock to the creative team as well. 

While Netflix is super secretive about their viewership figures, The cancelation is heavily because of the stagnant viewership. However, the reports reveal that even after bagging great reviews, Fuller House suffered a big drop in viewership rating between the first and second seasons. This only means one thing that while people were initially excited about the viewership figures, most viewers weren’t hooked up. It was the already established Full House audience that helped the show to sustain till at least five seasons until Netflix decided to pull the plug. 

Cast Wants More Of The Show

Over the years, Fuller House cast has been quite vocal about their wish for more of the show. Back in 2018, actress Candace Cameron Bure said that she would play DJ Tanner for the rest of her life. If the audience and networks wanted it, she would be DJ Tanner all her life. 

Actress Andrea Barber, who portrays Kimmy Gibbler, spoke that she doesn’t feel that the show is over. She really wants to keep playing the character and see where she is and witness the growth. She went on to say that everyone has seen DJ, Kimmy, and Stephanie since they were only kids, and let’s just keep seeing them in their 60s. 

Candace Cameron Bure Hopes That The Show Will Be Coming Back! 

Bure has revealed that she is hopeful that The Fuller House would return as Fullest House. In an interview, she stated that they talk about how it would be for the future of the characters. She went on to say, who knows what is coming up in the next 10-15 years? Never say never. Bure went on to say, if they get an opportunity, these characters will return. 

She thinks that if Fuller House returns as Fullest House, they will have to bring some grandchildren in the scenery. So, the show might come back after ten years when Kimmy and DJ are old, and their oldest children are in their 20s. With the kind of popularity nostalgia TV has, the show coming back doesn’t really seem impossible. Anything can happen in the upcoming few years.
