It has been a few months since The Good Place completed its fourth season. Will we get more of the show? Will there be The Good Place Season 5? The show follows Eleanor, who found herself in the afterlife that resembled heaven. While in the “Good Place,” Eleanor comes across Chidi, Jason, and Tahani while she understands that she hasn’t done anything to be in heaven like the afterlife. Later on, she comes to know that these four people are actually in a “Bad Place” and are being tortured by Michael, the person who built the whole community holding group. 

In the meantime, Eleanor, Tahani, Chidi, and Jason align with Michael and also the programmed guide- Janet. They are fighting the current afterlife system. However, the team as they call themselves- “Team Cockroach” couldn’t enjoy the peaceful afterlife in the first three seasons, and that continues to happen in the latest and the fourth season of the show. Hence, humanity also hangs in the balance. 

The team has already erased Chidi’s memory. They have made him a subject for a new experiment. The afterlife has to be changed to understand why humans haven’t been able to reach A Good Place for so many years. Then, they finally find a solution that could save the afterlife and the world. What Has Happened So Far?

The finale episode of the fourth season of The Good Place- “Whenever You’re Ready” saw the characters from the show enjoying in The Good Place. With a lot of good thought, Michael created the door that allowed all the characters to once and for all end their afterlives and disappear forever. The episode emphasized characters living their lives before they started deciding to leave.

The first person to decide was Jason, who very beautifully bid goodbye to Janet after he threw a huge party with the whole classic Arizona DJ set. After him, Tahani decided to leave; He decided that he would be the architect of the test, determining whether humans would come into The Good Place. Viewers also got to see Michael as he became a human and started adjusting the life on Earth. He even said a tearful goodbye to Eleanor and Chidi as they went through the door. The series then ended with him telling the humans to take the whole thing slowly. 

The Good Place Season 5: Renewed?

This indeed is a piece of bad news. The latest and the fourth season of the NBC comedy-drama- The Good Place was the last of the show. It has ended with the fourth season, and hence we wouldn’t get to see The Good Place Season 5. The show first released in September 2019 and ended in January 2020. The fourth season of the show received a whopping 100% rotten tomatoes. But, the sad truth is, that really was the last. 

Michael Schur On The Good Place Season 5

Creator- Michael Schur revealed that the fourth season was the final season of the series. They had planned it to be the last ever since the second season aired. Back in June 2019, Schur spoke to TV Line that every time they thought of extending the show, they came back to what the guiding principles and thought if they would break stories, if they had extended it. Then they always decided that it was better to cut things off before they run out of juice. That always keeps them on pace and ends after the fourth season. 

He also admitted that a part of him wanted to keep the series on, but then it felt right to end it. Schur went on to say that this idea was very specific, and it has a specific flavor and has a specific set of guidelines in terms of how long the show runs, and if they did it anything else, it would be betraying the nature if they drag it longer. 

Could There Be A Spin-Off?

There are many rumors that The Good Place might get a potential spin-off. However, nothing is confirmed yet. The rumors surfaced after the online mini-series- Selection released. It moves forward in the backdrop of The Bad Place. However, the creators did not confirm anything about it yet. There hasn’t been any revelation that confirms if they would expand the series anytime, so this spin-off seems very less likely. 

The Good Place Season 5: What’s Could Come Up Next?

We’d like to say never say never. Yes, all evidence hint that we wouldn’t get The Good Place Season 5. However, anything is possible in the tv series world. It indeed is difficult to say goodbye to something when reboots and revivals are very common. So, could The Good Place be revived? It may; it may not. With NBC’s new streaming service coming on, it is next to impossible to say what the streamers would bring to the table. 

If The Good Place Season 5 ever happens, what could come up? The show will only make sense if they bring the original cast & characters. The season could also find some loophole that would tell that the gate does not actually wipe the person’s existence. That would indeed make it possible for all the core members to reunite with Michael and Janet, who knows?

On the other end, there could be a major problem with the afterlife system that the team has created, forcing team Cockroach back to where they were. There are a number of things that could develop into a full-fledged storyline. However, we’d suggest our readers not to get too excited and consider that season 4 is the last of The Good Place.

The Umbrella Academy Season 3: Renewal News & Release Date

While Netflix hasn’t officially released any information about The Umbrella Academy Season 3 yet, What’s On Netflix has revealed that the show is unofficially renewed. Earlier on, ProductionWeekly had also reported that The Umbrella Academy is renewed and will start production sometime in October 2020. Obviously, this news isn’t a big surprise. Fans were anyways confident that the third season would happen. The show is immensely popular ever since it released in 2019. 

Some other reports reveal that the creators have already started the pre-production process of the show. However, they do not plan to start production before the end of this year. Back in February 2019, showrunner Steve Blackman revealed that it takes about 18 months to produce one season of the comedy show. So, if the team decides to start working on the show by the end of this year, we might get to see The Umbrella Academy Season 3 sometime in 2022. 

Did The Umbrella Academy Start A New Timeline?

The second season left all the viewers with a number of questions. Everybody wants answers to all of them. One big question among all of them is- when and where are the siblings now? Where did they get in the second season? In the final moments of the previous installment, everybody believed that The Umbrella Academy siblings had used the briefcase from The Commission and came back to 2019. However, they had just landed in the day after the apocalypse. They indeed found their home to be intact and the world exactly where they left it. Then things take a twist. All of them come to the library where they see Sir Reginald waiting to greet them.

They all become really surprised past their arrival. Reginald then tells them that they haven’t reached home instead they have come into The Sparrow Academy. The major question here is, how did that happen? How did The Umbrella Academy end up in the wrong timeline? Did they create a new timeline unknowingly in their journey of the second season? What’s The Sparrow Academy?

The second season leaves us with a bizarre cliffhanger introducing the mystery of the The Sparrow Academy. So, The Umbrella Academy Season 3 will tackle this mystery, without a doubt. While we don’t have much information on what all this is, the comics from which the show is inspired gives some clues. The third comic in the series- “Hotel Oblivion,” reveals that Reginald had sent all the villains defeated by The Umbrella Academy in deep space. Now, they have come back to earth and are seeking revenge from Hargreeves’ clan. The whole Umbrella Academy is having a hard time tackling these villains. But then, a group of superheroes who look like them enters. They are very similar but wear bird patches rather than umbrella patches. 

The creator of the original comic book series- Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá recently revealed a few details about their upcoming fourth comic called- “Sparrow Academy.” They revealed that this comic book would bring in a very big revelation in The Umbrella Academy universe. It will be something that has been hidden for a long time. The siblings will come to know about many things that are going on behind the scenes.

Not just that, siblings will come to know about the true nature of many characters that have been with them for the longest time. Way revealed that the series would finally start answering the question about the other babies that were born that day at that very moment. He even hits that The Umbrella Academy siblings won’t be the only ones in the world anymore. It looks like Reginald had adopted many more kids than just the seven special ones. He had trained other groups as The Sparrow Academy.  

Who Will Be The New Villain?

By the end of the second season, Harlan had lost all the powers. However, we came to know that, for the very least, he has telekinetic abilities. When the next season comes, Harlan will be about 64 years old. So, he will have a lot of experience with his abilities. It is also quite unlikely that he would forget Vanya and the whole Umbrella Academy at that time. So, could he be the next potential villain? Or will he become The Umbrella Academy siblings’ ally? It has been almost seven years since we last saw one of the biggest zombie movies- World War Z. It has been the equal amount of time since Paramount Pictures is developing the sequel World War Z 2. What is really happening to it? Will it really ever happen? The novel inspired movie was a big box office hit bagging about 500 million dollars worldwide. Clearly, fans are not only ready but are also looking forward to more of the movie. Then why hasn’t it happened yet? There could be a lot of things, actually. Here are all the details about it- 

World War Z 2: Is It Happening?

While there were rumors that World War Z 2 is canceled, Is it? A few years back, in 2017, reports revealed that the sequel was supposed to release in June that year. However, the date came and went by, and nothing happened. Not even the production had started. After that, speculations had it that Paramount pictures had not received the movie unenthusiastically. One of the reasons why the movie wasn’t happening was the budget factor. If the movie gets into production, it will be a very expensive shoot. The shoot in fact will start from Altlanta. Things then changed when David Fincher came on board as the director of the movie.

After that, everyone expected that the movie would start production in 2018. That did not happen because lead actor Brad Pitt signed the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie was then again delayed because of director David Fincher’s’ busy schedule with Mindhunter season 2. 

Perhaps it’ll just be like the first film, and a troubled development phase will eventually lead to the sequel happening. However, it is heartbreaking, but it looks like it’s a distant possibility right now. In an interview recently, co-creator Jeremy Kleiner said that World War Z 2 would be a reality “someday.” He went on to say that they love Max Brooks’ books. They lobe the whole universe. They don’t even feel that the franchise is over. So, everyone can hope that the movie would happen one day.

The productions for World War Z 2 was supposed to begin in June 2019. However, then it was delayed until March 2020. After that, COVID-19 hit us all and paused productions. So, naturally, the movie did not get into productions either. We don’t have a word on when the movie would start production again. If things go fine, we can expect the movie to finally start productions in 2020, almost seven years since the first movie released. We can expect it to release sometime either in 2021 or 2022 if everything goes right. 

Who Is In The Cast?

If and when World War Z 2 happens, Brad Pitt will come in to reprise his role as Gerry Lane, the former UN investigator, and intrepid zombie fighter. Along with Pitt, Mireille Enos will also come back for the sequel. She played Gerry Lane’s wife. In an interview with Digital Spy, Enos says that she will be in the sequel. She went on to say that there has been some shifting with the directors, and they don’t know the schedule, but the movie will happen, and she will be in it. However, this was about four years ago. So, we don’t know if she will stick to the statement four years later or not. Surprisingly, there have not been any other casting news so far. So, it is difficult to say who we would see in World War Z 2. 

World War Z 2: What Will Happen?

The first movie from the World War series was based on the bestselling novel with the same name. So, it will be tricky to predict what the next movie would bring. The original movie ended with giving all the viewers hope that mankind would indeed survive. They will all be able to fight the undead hordes. However, by the end of the movie, Gerry Lane says that there is a lot left to do. 

The original novel has a story that spans around the globe. It stretches into a political future. A lot has changed by the zombie pandemic. That does offer a lot of material for the filmmakers to use for World War Z 2. In an interview, Fincher said they had laid many stones and deconstructed it right now. They are thinking of what the mythology is right now, and where they can go. 

By the end of first movie, mankind had discovered how they pass the “unseen” from the infected without infecting themselves. But even after that, the world remained overrun. In World War Z 2, all viewers can expect to see how humankind fights back. 

What Is Brad Pitt Doing Right Now?

There won’t be a World War Z 2 without Brad Pitt. However, we don’t know when we would get to see the it. Other than the movie, there are many projects Pitt seems to be involved with. The last we saw of the heartthrob in 2019 Quentin Tarantino’s movie- Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie was widely applauded and bagged numerous awards. He received the Best Supporting Actor in Academy Awards. Not just that, he also was honored with a SAG, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and his first-ever Oscar. 

After the successful movie, Brad Pitt has signed yet another movie. He will next be in David Leitch’s Bullet Train. Written by Zak Olkewicz, the movie is inspired by Kotaro Isaka’s Japanese novel- Maria Beetle. Bullet Train follows five assassins who out of nowhere are in a fast-moving bullet train. The train is moving from Tokyo to Morioka with very few stops. All the assassins then realize that their missions are interconnected. The question is, who will make out of the train alive, and what awaits for them on their destination. 

The movie quite sounds like a high dose of thrill. So, we know that we will get to see Pitt in action sooner than later. David Fincher, the director, is right now working on his next project, a movie called- Mank, which is all set to release on Netflix in 2020. It remains to be seen what happens to World War Z 2. The Samuel Ball’s Secret Tunnel 

By the end of the seventh season, the team did a radar survey on Samuel Ball’s property. The team worked to uncover what they think is a tunnel. They think that it has some connection with the treasure hiding near Ball’s house, or maybe it is the money pit. The whole Oak Island team is working to figure out things about the tunnel. But is it really that?

The television images reveal that the tunnel is quite small, perhaps only 40 cm wide. So, that can’t be used as a passageway for humans. The exploration using the snake camera revealed that it is a low cavity and is covered by flat stones. That suggests that Samuel Ball did not move gold using that tunnel from the Money Pit. 

Fans Have Suggestions On What It Could Be

One of the Reddit users suggests that the tunnel doesn’t seem very elegant enough, and perhaps it could be a sewer line or maybe even covered drain. Earlier in 2016, Archaeologist Jennifer Bracewell and her team had found a similar structure only a bit bigger in size in the 18th century Maison Nivard site. The archeological team had back then concluded that the main question for them was whether the structure was a drain used for domestic sewage or just for agricultural runoff? The fan added. 

Earlier in an article in 2001, Northeast Historical Archeology, Sherene Baugher has discussed the drainage features on various archeological sites. The illustrations he presented seem very much like the tunnel near Ball’s land. The fan went on to say that he really hopes that the team follows up with it and finds out what the tunnel really does. Is it connect to the house, or is it an agricultural drain. 

Has Anyone Else Found The Treasure Before Lagina Brothers? 

Treasures are a tale that everyone gets attracted to. While there aren’t many shreds of evidence of all the treasure hunters, it is believed that the Oak Island saga first started in 1799 when three teenagers found a depression on the Island, which was believed to be a place with hidden treasure. Ever since then, many people have tried to find the treasure but haven’t been very successful. There are many theories surrounding the treasure, here is what it is- 

The South Shore Theory

The South Shore Theory takes us back to the sixteenth century. It speculates that Sir Francis Bacon had hidden something precious and incredible on the Island. To save his treasure, he had put up many booby traps. These traps could be seas, water, pits, and shafts. All fans who have been keeping up with the show for years, Lagina brothers have found pieces of evidence of shaft, the money pit, and even found the coconut traces. Could this theory have some significance? 

Treasure Pirate Theories

This is one of the earliest theories regarding the treasures hidden in the Oak Island. According to the theory, a pirate- Captain Kidd buried some treasure. They, in fact, made the Oak Island their treasure bank. Another pirate-treasure theory speculates that another Pirate Edward Teach had buried treasure deep in the lands of the Island where only either he or the satan would find it. 

The Templars Theory

William S. Crooker, the author of the book Oak Island Gold, suggests that Templars, or maybe Incas, made the money pit to hide their treasure from the Spanish conquerors. But then, when the British invaded the land, the engineers and sailors dug the pit and looted the whole treasure. 

The Death Theory 

One of the most speculated theories surrounding the treasure at Oak Island is the death theory. The legend of this theory suggests that the treasure on the Island is, in fact, cursed. The treasure would only be found after seven deaths while finding the treasure. Over the years, many people have gone on to find the treasure. As for now, six people have died while finding the treasure. 

The Curse of Oak Island Season 8: Release Date

While we are very confident that The Curse of Oak Island Season 8 is coming, we also know that the next season is delayed. The show will take a long time to release as compared to all the previous seasons of the series. One of the biggest reasons for this is the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has affected everything, only causing the delay. While productions are resuming this August but would Curse of Oak Island Start productions now?

By the end of the seventh season, Marty Lagina revealed that they are facing a budget problem and wouldn’t be able to come back until they have enough financial aid.
