If there is something that all the Star Wars fans are looking forward to, it is inevitably The Mandalorian Season 3. Chapter 16 of the second season left fans with quite a number of questions. With the way the second season ended, viewers had started wondering if The Mandalorian Season 3 would be replaced by a spin-off series, but thankfully it is a no.

The creators have announced that a spin-off on The Book of Boba Fett would release before the third season. With that said, it is pretty clear that we are getting a The Mandalorian Season 3. What Would Happen In The Mandalorian Season 3?

In the first and the second season, we were quite aware of what The Mandalorian would bring in. We knew that Mando would try to return Baby Yoda to his Baby Yoda people. However, with the way the second season ended, Mando’s path is pretty unclear for the next installment. Baby Yoda is off to Jedi as Luke Skywalker is training Yoda. So, what would Mando do now? He has presumably completed his adventure that he began with the little guy in the Imperial base.

What we can assume at this point in that Baby Yoda and Mando will be reunited again, and soon. Quite because the Mandalorian world won’t be anything without the good father-son duo, with that said, we have to think, how would baby Yoda and Luke part ways? Would Luke screw up his pupil? There is indeed a dark side to Baby Yoda, so would he banish him in the new Jedi Temple? Would Mando step in to save Baby Yoda? We will have to wait and watch to know.

Will There Be A Time Jump?

It is very much possible that there would be a time jump where Teen Yoda, who misses his father, abandons Luke and goes on to find Mando. Is it possible that Mando would get into some shit, and then Teen Yoda would set off to save him? Theoretically, there is about a 19-year long time shift between The Mandalorian and the moment Luke’s Jedi temple is destroyed by Ben Solo. Would this time jump reunite Mando and Baby Yoda, who survives after Luke’s exile?

More of Moff Gideon Coming Up On The Show

The one part of the equation we know is Baby Yoda’s survival after Luke’s exile. When the second season ends, our heroes are just hanging out on the edge of an Imperial destroyer with a high profile target in their custody. What would they do? Well, one thing that we are sure of is Moff Gideon.

In an interview with Esquire, Giancarlo Esposito, who plays the character of Gideon, reveals what’s coming up for the character. He says that Moff Gideon is quite an elusive character who has a piece in every part of the empire. He says that viewers would start to see that eventually. 

The way the second season ended, there indeed was much tension between Bo-Katan who Mando. Din had claimed the Mandalore weapon by defeating Moff Gideon. Now, if Bo-Katan does want to reclaim it, he would have to beat Mando to do so. If this happens, it will happen despite the plot-hole coming from the Clone War that saw Sabine Wren handing over the Darksaber to Bo-Katan without any issues.

Mandalorian Season 3: What’s The Release Date?

Back in April 2020, when the release of the second season was only drawing closer, Variety reported that Mandalorian Season 3 is already in the works. The latest reports reveal that the creators are eyeing December 2021 as the release date for the upcoming season. The release schedule for Mandalorian Season 3 and the recently announced spin-off series, ‘The Book of Boba Fett,’ would most probably the same.

Black Lives Matter To Be A Part of Good Trouble Season 3

Speaking about how much the pandemic would affect Good Trouble Season 3, the creator, Joanna Johnson, reveals that she does not believe that the scenario would be very appealing to the viewers. Viewers are still dealing with the real-world realities of the pandemic. So, the third season will address the situation, but they will not make the whole season about it.

She says that the creators think that the show is very different than the limited series. They don’t want to turn the TV on and see the COVID world even in their favorite TV show. It is nice to turn on the show and enjoy it without seeing everyone in masks. The creators want this show to be a nice break from reality.

With that said, the creator confirmed that the show would take on another real-life event. This is the Black Lives Matter movement. The show has always used such issues. The creators say that the first half of the show will be Pre-George Floyd, and then they will address that in the second half.

The creator says that when they started in 2018 with their Black Lives Matter storyline, it was all very interesting when that Black Lives Matter got a negative approval rating. So now, when people have really started embracing it is a very legitimate, well-organized, and powerful manner, it is heartening.

Production Details and Release Date

It looks like fans will get to see Good Trouble Season 3 sooner than we expected. According to some reports, Cierra Ramirez was spotted with a number of other actors who are a part of the show. So, it looks like the show has got into production. With that said, we don’t have much information on how long the show has been under production or when the show will release.

However, this is good news that production has started in 2020. In a video starring Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez, it was revealed that the creators had initially planned to release the show in the Summer of 2020, but now fans will have to be a bit patient. Check out the video here.

A Holiday Special Is Happening!

As a treat, Freeform has announced a two hour-long Christmas special. For the first time, all viewers will get to spend their Christmas with all their favorite residents at Coterie. With so many people in one place, there will be some major stress in the holidays. Things never go as smoothly as one might think.

In an interview with People, the creator of the show said that they hadn’t done a holiday episode yet because the idea of Christmas at Coterie is not something that only rolls off the tongue. What would a communal Christmas look like?

What Will Happen Next?

The first part of the sixth season recently concluded, with the release date for the second part yet to be decided. So, it is too early to predict what would come up in Fear The Walking Dead Season 7. The second part of the sixth season will affect the storyline for season 7.

As of now, the series is following two groups of survivors who are working with and against Virginia in equal measure. Lennie James’ Morgan is back once again in his kill-or-be-killed mode. He has put all of his resources into uniting his friends to form a strong front against Virginia.

The return date for the second part of the sixth season has not yet been scheduled, so we cannot say when Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 would release. Speaking about the production for the second half of the sixth season, the executive producer for the show Scott M. Gimple says that it is heartbreaking how they haven’t been able to carry the show through 608. It is an astounding episode.

He continued to say that it is such a big episode in the history of the series. That episode will be an amazing start. The series is now into production. They have been in production for several weeks, if not months. Gimple revealed that they are cranking away Fear The Walking dead. They have the rest of the sixth season to finish, and then they will start working on Fear The Walking Dead Season 7.

While we do not know the exact release date for the upcoming episode of Fear The Walking Dead franchise, it is good to know that we will get more episodes. Fear is the last standing of the series’ shows. The Walking Dead is supposed to end after the eleventh season. The other spin-off series- World Beyond, is also coming to an end with two seasons.

With such a huge fan base, it looks like the creators will continue to invest in Fear The Walking Dead even after the seventh season. This comes as the good news. Netflix has officially renewed Space Force Season 2. The show that first aired in May 2020 is a workplace comedy-drama. The show that was initially shot in Los Angeles is now moving to Vancouver to reduce the production budget. Filming for Space Force Season 2 is all set to start in 2021.

Space Force Season 2: What Will Happen Next?

More Tension Coming Up For Steve

Ten episodes into the show, we still don’t know why Maggie was in prison—keeping that aside, by the end of the inaugural season, Maggie had broken out of prison to help Erin, and now they are on the run. Speaking about that character, the creators say that viewers will get to know why and what’s about her by the end of the show. As for why the question is shrouded, both Steve and Daniel (Creators) say that they think that this was a bit funny. They liked giving the mystery to the character.

With that said, the creators also suggest that more pressure and tension are coming up for Mark R. Naird. A military officer’s wife is usually an important member. She raises the kid, acts as a political advisor, and organizes families.

So now, in the second season, Naird will have to deal with new challenges that will prove very difficult for him. He has to deal with the fact that his wife is in prison, and his daughter is going off the tracks. He hasn’t parented her before. Speaking about it, Daniel says that it just looks like a great way to put more pressure on him. He has to deal with the family situation.

Castle Rock Season 3: Hulu’s horror show, Castle Rock that first debuted in July 2018, has unfortunately been canceled after two seasons. The latest season, the second season, aired in October 2019. Set in the fictional town of Maine, the show is based on Stephen King’s works. The show weaves together a number of characters and locations from the author’s various novels to create more mysteries of their own.

The second season saw Annie Wilkes, played by Lizzy Caplan, who was on the run from the FBI after murdering someone. She then ends up in Castle Rock along with her daughter. Why Was Castle Rock Season 3 Canceled?

When Hulu decided not to bring Castle Rock Season 3, it wasn’t because of the lack of viewership or great reviews. Instead, this decision was based on the fact that the creators had always intended to end the series after two seasons. They wanted to end the show will Annie Wilkes’s story. There were a number of factors that were taken into account. One of these factors included a major shift in the company’s interest. Castle Rock was canceled to avoid it getting stale with time.

Stephen King Is Quite Sad With The Cancelation

So, it is quite obvious that Stephen King got pretty disappointed when Castle Rock was canceled. In an interview, he expressed his frustration over this cancelation. He says that the series was scrapped off just when filmmakers were starting to establish and discover their strengths.

A number of King’s adaptations have debuted on screen in the past. While fans assume that all of King’s works would be a huge hit, that isn’t always the case. The Dark Tower movie also fell short of expectations. King has even before proven that he doesn’t have much problem addressing the works that did not meet their full potential.

In an interview with the New York Times, King said that the people who were involved in the show were big fans of these books. He liked what the creators made out of the book. Continuing, he says that in the second season, they were able to get into the feel. He would have really liked it if the show went on and grew a little bit.

Would It Be Revived Ever?

While this cancelation is not very great news, it is possible that creators might explore individual stories in the future. There is a lot of source material that the creators could use for more seasons of the show. There are more than twenty stories that took place in the backdrop of Castle Rock.

For instance, Gerald’s Game also takes place in the same backdrop. It was adapted as a feature-length movie by Netflix in 2017. So, it is possible that some other streaming service, or maybe HBO Max, would pick the show up and tell other stories in the future. The Production Has Started!

Animal Kingdom Season 5 was renewed in July 2019, and now the show is into production. In early September 2020, the creators got back into production after being in lockdown for about 11 months. In a recent interview with NME, Finn Cole, who plays the character of Joshua “J” Cody on the show, revealed that they would be wrapping up the production soon. In the interview, dated December 10, the actor said that they would wrap up the show within a week. So, they can go to their homes for the holidays.

So as of now, we can assume that Animal Kingdom Season 5 is either complete or close to getting complete. It is just a matter of editing and putting all the episodes together for the fifth season. If everything goes well, we can expect to see new episodes of the season sometime in early 2021. 

Anthony Konechny Gets On-Board For Animal Kingdom Season 5

Recently actor Anthony Konechny has joined the TNT show Animal Kingdom. He is coming in for a recurring role. The actor who has been a part of a number of productions like Supergirl, Fifty Shades of Grey, and Witches of East End will come to Animal Kingdom to play a younger version of Billy that was initially played by Denis Leary.

Carla Frankenbach will act as the writer of Animal Kingdom Season 5, and Loren Yaconelli will be the director of the show. Daniele Nathanson, John Wells, David Michod, Erin Jontow, and Liz Watts will be the executive producers of the drama. 

What Will Happen Next?

The fourth season of the show ended with a bang. It left everyone shocked. The finale saw Smurf getting killed. This ending did leave all the viewers with a number of questions. Special Season 2: Last year, Netflix brought in an American-comedy series that won everyone over. It was called Special. Ever since the first season of the flamboyant season was released, all viewers have been eagerly waiting for Special Season 2.

Is It Renewed?

Thankfully Yes. Netflix has renewed Special Season 2. The news came six months after the first season concluded, in December 2019. The streaming giant has ordered eight episodes. Not just the renewal, the show has even completed a lot of production. Back in May 2020, the creator of the show- Ryan O’Connell, revealed that they had filmed the first half of the upcoming second season before COVID derailed the whole project. After that, being quarantined, he is editing those four episodes. The first season of the show was entirely edited by O’Connell single-handedly.

Fast forward to today, after a break of many months, Ryan O’Connell and their team are back on the sets. The creator/actor took on Instagram to share the news. He posted a picture that he captioned with, “Back to Work With My Boys.” He added a hashtag- Special Season 2. So, we are sure that the remaining episodes of Special Season 2 will be ready soon. In the picture, it looks like they are dressed for a 1980s prom. The filmmaker Craig Johnson also posted a few pictures and captioned them with “Prom Date.”

What Will Be the Story for Special Season 2

The first season of the show ended with Ryan feeling like he has conquered cerebral palsy. He moved out of his mother’s house and decided to live on his own. Ryan had found a best friend in Kim, a love interest in Carey, and a job at Thought Catalog.

For Special Season 2, O’Connell has made his own writers’ room. He wants the second season to level things up. The creator says that he would not write the second season all by himself. He says that the character’s (Ryan) journey is about realizing, to be honest with who he is. Ryan still has a number of issues with the disability. Not everything is easy or fancy.

Along with revealing that, the creator has given more insights on what could come up next on the show. He says that Special Season 2 will bring more gay sex. It is something that he thinks is a revolutionary impression. O’Connell says that the sex depicted in the show isn’t skin-Emax after dark. It is real. It is what happens when a gay person first time experiences sexual intimacy. Many have very little or no education about it at all.

The creators have not yet revealed anything about the release date for the upcoming season. However, given that the show is already in production for the remaining episodes, we can expect to see Special Season 2 sometime in 2021.
