It’s been more than seven years since Architect Ted Mosby finally wrapped up his story. For ten seasons, he rambled on the longest story of meeting his children’s mother in the CBS hit comedy-drama series How I Met Your mother. How I Met Your Father: Release Date

In April 2021, after several years of wait, showrunners finally confirmed that they are working on the HIMYM spinoff series named How I Met Your Father. The first season of the sitcom drama will have a total of 10 episodes. And it will be released on Hulu. 

Hulu announced How I Met Your Father’s release date two weeks ago, on November 18. The announcement came in the form of a special video featuring the series cast in the video shared on YouTube. Viewers saw the cast making the announcement with the legendary dialogue, ‘Wait for it’ before finally announcing the premiere date.

How I Met Your Father will premiere on Hulu on January 18, 2022. The show began production on September 1, as confirmed by Hilary Duff herself. She is all set to portray the show’s lead Sophie in the upcoming sitcom drama.

In the first season of La Brea, a sinkhole at the La Brea Tar Pits and Wilshire Boulevard separates mother and son from father and daughter. Gavin and Izzy try their hardest to gather resources and bring Eve and Josh back after they descend into the depths of the ground.

Toward the end of the season, another possibility for the Harris family to reconcile presents itself, but it comes with a significant risk concerning a portal. Eve, on the other hand, is willing to go to any length. Gavin, Izzy, and Dr. Nathan, on the other hand, gave all they got all in a final rescue effort after it was reported that one more sinkhole would open up.

During Comicon’s special edition in November 2021, Showrunner David Appelbaum talked about the second season. He said that the Harris family would be separated in new and interesting ways. And the makers will put characters in different worlds moving into La Brea Season 2.

Further, he stated, “But also, we’re going to retain a lot of what we saw in Season 1.” But there are still going to be characters in the clearing trying to figure out how to survive down. He continued that the of the goals of the show for future installments is to expand its premise.

But Josh did not get his ‘Mr. Big moment.’ According to the actor, the audience never got to know the character’s last name, and that’s how it ended. Nico Tortorella also discussed the show’s conclusion and what happened to Josh after it ended.

Nico stated that there was room for newness in their connection in season seven of the show. And many fans were hopeful about this aspect. While discussing Josh’s parenting abilities, the actor stated that he would like Josh to continue to co-parent Gemma and be a wonderful father to her.
