Money Heist Season 5 Part 2: What Will Happen?

The heist in the National Bank of Spain has become a fight for survival for the gang members after Colonial Tamayo ordered a team of elite special agents to take over the Bank. The team led by ruthless Commander Sagasta is now committed to terminating every heist member. 

The heartbreaking death of Professor’s most valuable asset Tokyo in the first part left the gang vulnerable. So, now, Money Heist Season 5 Part 2 will resume from the ending of the first part. While the members are fighting for their survival in the Bank, the Professor is trying to help them from the outside.

Inspector Alicia Sierra, who found the Professor’s hideout in the first half, also seems to assist them. However, we can never be sure of her intentions. She’s an agent, after all. It will be thrilling to see how the gang members pull off a seemingly impossible escape from the Bank of Spain. And what new trick the Professor has got up in his sleeve.

Netflix dropped a promo for Money Heist Season 5 Part 2 on October 13. The trailer gives viewers a glimpse of the gang members who are still grieving Tokyo’s death from Vol. 1. However, they are now well aware of the consequences that will befall them if they continue to challenge the government, and they are waiting for them to occur. “I’ve lost people very dear to me, now I won’t let anyone else fall because of this heist,” Professor is heard saying. The teaser then shows the words ‘The End Is Coming’ in large letters, indicating that part 2 will be the series’ final installment. 

Money Heist Season 5 Part 2: Release Date

Netflix confirmed the return of Money Heist Season 5 Part 2 in 2020. The return came as no surprise as the fourth installment dominated Netflix’s top 10 list worldwide upon release. But the unexpected ending of part one of Money Heist Season 5, which released on Netflix on September 3, left the ‘Heist’ fans worldwide stunned. Luckily, the wait is almost over, as the final batch of episodes will air on Friday, December 3.
