During last month’s New York Comic-Con, Starz’s revealed the first teaser for the upcoming season of its fantasy drama series Outlander. The one-minute-long promo clip starts with fan-favorite couples Jamie and Claire Fraser and Brianna and Roger Mackenzie. Claire and Jamie are living on the ridge in North Carolina at the land given to them by the Crown.

Next, we hear Clair saying, “It’s starting,” referring to the Revolutionary War. In the teaser, we further see a man nailing a poster saying, ‘Boycott British Goods. A few short glimpses indicate that the American Revolutionary War will be the key plot point in Outlander Season 6. The sixth season will be based on A Breath of Snow and Ashes, the sixth book in Diana Gabaldon‘s novel series. 

When Will Outlander Season 6 Air?

Outlander season 5, which started airing on February 16, finished its run on Starz on May 10, 2021. The fifth season having 12 episodes, was based on the fifth book in the Outlander series, ‘The Fiery Cross.’

It was renewed for the sixth run in May 2018, and the production was to begin in May 2020. However, the Covid19 pandemic caused a delay in production, and it finally started in February 2021. The creator also trimmed the total number of episodes in Outlander Season 6 to eight due to the delay.

Meanwhile, Outlander’s official Twitter handle shared a post on June 1, 2021, confirming that the production has officially wrapped. Although the tweet didn’t mention any official release date for the Outlander Season 6, it revealed that the series will arrive in 2022. And that the first episode will be 90 minutes long.

Unfortunately, there’s no official release date for the sixth run of Outlander yet. However, in an interview, the series star Sam Heughan hinted that the new season might arrive in February next year. Although, it is true that the season is currently in the post-production stage and will hit our TV screens soon. However, with questions the fifth season left us with, Outlander Season6 might just be worth the wait.

Fans are getting ready for Netflix’s groundbreaking fantasy drama The Witcher Season 2, which is due to release soon. The streaming giant adapted the Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel series of the same name into a live-action fantasy drama series, which first aired in 2019. Lauren S. Hissrich, the show creator, said an interview about the upcoming season. “It’s a really fun season as it follows a particular book really closely. Also, it has a lot of action, some death”. However, she did not reveal which book the show will be based upon but knowing the timeline of the events of season one, we assume the book might be Time of Contempt or Baptism of Fire, written by Andrzej Sapkowski. 

The Witcher Season 2: Release Date

The first season of The Witcher premiered on December 20, around the Christmas of 2019. The show gathered a record-breaking viewership of over 76 million in just the first month of its release. Thus, Netflix’s going ahead to renew the season for further seasons seemed destined. However, the streaming platform showed a vote of confidence in its fantasy series and already renewed The Witcher for a second season on November 12, 2019, over a month before the first season’s release.

The pandemic did play a part in elongating fans’ wait for the series’ second season. However, The Witcher’s production paced up upon restart in November 2020, which was previously halted by the Covid outbreak. Consequently, the filming wrapped up in April 2021. And after months of post-production and marketing, finally, The Witcher Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on December 17, 2021. 

Moreover, the streaming platform is planning to explore the world of The Witcher more deeply. On September 26, 2021, Netflix announced The Witcher Season 3, a spinoff series and an animated film based in Sapkowski’s world of The Witcher.

Netflix Shared Teaser

The first official teaser of the first part of Ozark Season 4 arrived on November 17. Netflix shared the teaser on YouTube with the caption “All decisions have consequences.” In the one-minute long promo clip, we hear Marty Byrde saying, “Human beings make decisions. They commit acts. And that makes things happen. It creates a snowball effect, causes other people to make decisions, cycle continues, snowball keeps rolling. Sometimes people make decisions and you gotta act accordingly. Or you can crawl in a hole to die.” 

The teaser also has some flashback highlights of the earlier seasons, including the scene where Del Rio almost killed Martin. During the flashbacks, we get a glimpse of a seeming car accident. In the clip, the text “No ending is reached by accident” appears on our screens. The promo clip gives us a brief idea about the perplexities and threats that Ozark Season 4 has in store for the Byrde family. 

Ozark Season 4: Release Date

The third season of Netflix’s Ozark premiered all ten episodes on the streaming platform on March 27, 2020. On June 30, 2020, Netflix announced that the series would return for a fourth and final season with fourteen episodes, unlike the first three seasons, with only ten episodes. The last season of the popular Netflix crime drama series will be divided into two parts, with seven episodes each. 

The filming for Ozark Season 4 began in November 2020 and wrapped up on October 8, 2021. Unfortunately, however, there are no updates regarding the whereabouts of the second part of Ozark Season 4. Nevertheless, the premiere date for the first set of episodes in the final season of Ozark is getting closer. When Will Briderton Season 2 Premiere?

All the eight episodes of Bridgerton season 1 premiered on Netflix on December 25, 2020. Netflix announced the renewal of the series for the second installment in 2021. And the production of the series started in the spring of this year. But unfortunately, the filming had to be stopped when a couple of crew members got infected by Covid19.

However, the creators resumed production in August 2021. In the same month Chris Van Dusen, the show creator, confirmed that the first two episodes had finished filming and were post-production. There is no official release date for the Bridgerton Season 2 but based on everything we know. It’s safe to assume that the show might return sometime in early 2022.
