Amazon Prime renewed The Expanse Season 6 prior to the fifth season premiere. However, the streamer also revealed that the sixth season would be the last season of the show. Well, each season is based on James S.A. Corey books, with the sixth book having its own natural ending. But the original The Expanse stories continue to broach till the ninth book. On which the series showrunner, Naren Shankar, coyly said that it’s probably due to a huge time jump between the sixth and the seventh books. Further, they have an insufficient budget to follow after the sixth novel.

However, the series star Dominique Tipper who plays Belter Naomi Nagata, slyly teased that their journey on Amazon is coming to an end. But they have to look forward to what happens next on another streaming outlet.

The Expanse Season 6: Production Complete

Good news for The Expanse’s fans, Amazon’s popular sci-fi has officially wrapped up the filming for its sixth season on May 7, 2021, in Toronto, Canada. The filming commenced formally in early January 2021 and took at least four months to conclude shooting. However, initially, the filming was supposed to wrap in the last week of April. But due to specific issues, it got extended to May’s second week, which has finally wrapped up now.

Howbeit the cast didn’t share any image of the final day of filming. Yet it must have been truly emotional for the cast and crew, who worked more than six years together. Moreover, filming is currently at its post-production stage, which might take at least 5-6 months as the series requires high VFX and graphics. So the production might wrap up later this year.

Lately, the news flashed that Cas Anvar won’t return to reprise his role in the sixth run due to the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Daredevil Season 4: Has It Renewed Yet?

Netflix canceled its popular Marvel show back in November 2018, after its three successful seasons. Yet, many fans hoped that one-day Disney+ would pick the series for the fourth run. But, he affirmed that he would soon transform his locks into blond.

She said that they had many discussions on the second run when they were working on the first season. Even in an interview with Korea JoongAng Daily, Yoon shared her plans for the second run.

She said that before she started working on the first season, she had already mapped the stories, and they currently have more stories to work on. Yoon further teased that the entire series is loosely inspired by Kim Sae-Byeol’s Things That Are Left Behind essays book. But most of the stories took inspiration from real events that happened in Japan. So there’s a huge chance that it would continue depicting those stories in the second run.

That later led him to escape from the place, which subsequently brought turmoil in his lawyer and uncle’s life. Meanwhile, Sang-gu failed to become the guardian of Geu-Ru, which later left Sang-gu in dismay.

But despite avoiding his concern for Geu-Ru, when the lawyer told Sang-gu that Geu-Ru wanted to stay with him, he wells up. However, it remains unclear whether Sang-gu could be Geu-Ru’s legal guardian. Further, if the series returns for the second run, then there’s a huge possibility that Sang-gu would try to build a healthy relationship with Geu-Ru.

A Love Triangle

Since the beginning of the first season, Na-Mu has had feelings for Gue-Ru, which was raised in the finale. However, Jun-Yeong sees Na-Mu as his potential love interest. Meantime, he saw some butterflies flying over her head and realized that this butterfly girl is his first crush.

Gue-Ru had a hard time dealing with his father’s demise. And now, he found her first love, which will soon die. So it could be quite hard for him to deal with another loss. Meanwhile, when Jun-Yeong returns as the main antagonist, things will turn more upside-down in Gue-Ru’s life.
