The Good Doctor, developed by David Shore, is a medical drama series on ABC. It is based on the 2013 South Korean series of the same title. It follows a young autistic surgeon Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), having a savant syndrome. He belongs to a small city of Casper, Wyoming, where he had a troubled childhood. However, he moved to San Jose, California, to start a new life working in San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. There, his daily struggle dealing with his personal and professional life is portrayed. Along with him, the series depicts the challenges he and his colleagues faced while working in a prestigious hospital.

The Good Doctor Season 4: Renewed For Next Season

ABC had renewed The Good Doctor for its fourth season before the previous season wrapped up airing. The series got a positive response from the audience, it gained 8.2 ratings on IMDb. Further, Karey Burke ABC Entertainment President appreciated the series for its incredible storyline and running milestone. She also expressed her excitement and eagerness for its next chapter.

Karey said: “The Good Doctor has been a mainstay on Monday nights. It is one of those special heartfelt series that fearlessly tackles an overall storyline. I’m excited to see where the series take us next this time.”

Further, Jason Clodfelter Sony Pictures Television President expressed his gratitude to the streaming networks and the series creator to bring such a show. He said: “We are incredibly thankful to ABC for all their continued support. And (also thankful) to David Shore for bringing The Good Doctor to television at the exact right moment. The show’s surprising, emotional, and complicated journey is the perfect prescription for right now.”

Casts Leaving The Show

Unfortunately, some of the cast members won’t return in the fourth chapter as we all know that in the finale episode, Dr. Melendez died after confessing his love for Dr. Claire Browne (Antonio Thomas). Thus Nicholas Gonzalez won’t be a part of the fourth run. Further, Fiona Gubelmann, as Dr. Morgan Reznick and Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park, are also leaving the show. Even Jasika Nicole as Carly Lever, who played Shaun’s ex-girlfriend character, wouldn’t be a part of the first few episodes of season 4. It looks like fans will see some new faces in the upcoming season.

Will Freddie Returns As Shaun?

The series producers were looking to replace Freddie after the conflict between them. In an interview, he revealed that he wasn’t thinking of joining the series. Since it’s a long-running show and he knew it would require 100% commitment. Meanwhile, producers revealed that they also wanted some mature person to play this role. But, the good thing is that Freddie is back as Shaun in the fourth season.

It’s been a year since the second season of Mindhunter wrapped up on Netflix. However, the streaming giant hasn’t greenlit Mindhunter Season 3 yet. Mindhunter, created by Joe Penhall, is a crime psychological thriller drama series on Netflix. The series is based on Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas true-comic book titled Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit. It is centered on Psychologist Wendy Carr (Anna Torv), FBI agents Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), and Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff). The trio manages the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. They work on understanding the thinking pattern of the serial killers by interviewing them to gain knowledge to solve the current cases.

Mindhunter Season 3: Has Netflix Renewed The Show?

It’s almost been a year since Mindhunter Season 2 released on Netflix. Since then, no information regarding Mindhunter Season 3 came out yet. The series creator and producers are being mummed. Earlier this year, the main cast of the series were also relieved from their contracts. The series director David Fincher also stated that he’s currently busy with other works. So till then, the cast can also grab the opportunity to work on other shows.

Further, Netflix’s spokesperson clarified director David’s action of releasing the cast from their contracts. He stated: “David Fincher may return in the future to direct Mindhunter Season 3. But, right now, he felt it wasn’t fair to the actors to hold them from looking for other work while David was exploring new work of his own.” This seems fair as well. However, keeping in view the viewership and popularity of the show, the third season will return for its fans, in some time.

Cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt Hoping To Return

In an interview, cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt stated that presently he also doesn’t know when the upcoming season would land on Netflix. But, he’s hoping to return in the third season as quickly as possible. Further, he said that he’s delighted working with David and the team. It was a fantastic experience, and he got so many things to learn from.

Erik said: “I’ve heard things are paused for a little bit. We’ll see. Who knows? But it would be an honor to return. I love working with David and adore the crew and the cast. And it’s been an incredible period of my life for certain. I’ve been contented to have the opportunity to work on it and contribute to it. It’s been particularly important and poignant in my career. But yeah, I don’t know what’s going on.”

In February, Netflix has greenlit Top Boy Season 4 after reviving the series last year. With this announcement, Netflix also revealed the major cast details. However, the series creator and the streamer are being silent on the filming schedule. So, it’s unclear whether the production would begin at their scheduled time, as planned before the pandemic hit the world. Else it would push back a little further. Top Boy, written and created by Ronan Bennett, is a crime drama series. The first two seasons were broadcasted on Channel 4. However, after two successful seasons, Channel 4 dropped the series, which later got revived by Netflix. The series is set in the fictional place in Hackney, East London, named Summerhouse estate. It follows Ra’Nell struggles in the crime-replete Summerhouse estate after Lisa Dawn (Lizzie) his mother hospitalized in the mental hospital. After then, Leon, Lisa’s friend, started taking care of Ra’Nell. Meanwhile, her other friend Heather employs Ra’Nell to help grow the cannabis crop so that she can start a new lifestyle in a safer place. However, the more he stays there, the more he gets trapped in the drug dealing business.

Top Boy Season 4: Netflix Renewed The Show

On February 26, 2020, Netflix announced on Twitter that Top Boy received renewal for Season 4 with the caption: “Top Boy S2 is happening!” Since after Netflix revived the series, it served as the streamer’s original series. Thus, season 4 counts as the second season on Netflix titles Top Boy: Summerhouse. Further, the series got a positive response from the audience and the critics. On average, it earned 8.9 on IMDb and 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.

For Life, created by Hank Steinberg, is a legal drama series on ABC. The series is based on Issac Wright Jr. Aaron Wallace’s true story. Aaron Wallace (Nicholas Pinnock) is a former club owner, imprisoned for drug trafficking for a crime he didn’t commit. In reality, the drugs belonged to his friend. But Aaron was life-sentenced with no clue of his parole. However, during this period, he earned a defense lawyer license and helped his fellow prisoners to get justice, while attempting to return to his home and the life that the wrong allegations had ruined.

For Life Season 2: Possible Storyline

A Potential Time-Jump

In an interview with Deadline Hank Steinberg discussed the possibilities that the upcoming season would experience a time-jump. He said the show is currently running six months before the pandemic and Black Lives Matter protest started. So, presently they are working to begin the second season just a few months before the coronavirus outbreak and the world rupture by George’s brutal death.

It Would Portray The Current Situation

Hank stated that it’s more critical for them to depict Black Lives Matter protest in their show. Since the show portrays the fights for justice, so many eyes are on them to represent such a crucial matter. However, it’s not that easy to do so. It’s such a sensitive and delicate issue that he feels to portray while keeping George and the injustice happened with him in their mind. Presently all the writers are working in the writer room to write a story that could feel real.

Hank continued that there writer’s room is half black and half white. So they are having some painful and honest conversation regarding the story. However, he pointed out that they can’t thoroughly feel the pain and struggle that their fellow Black Americans faced. So, it is quite difficult for their not black writers to understand. But, they are working to portray those sentiments, struggles, dishonest behavior, and misunderstanding of people in the best way.

Aaron Will Leave The Prison

Hank confirmed that in the previous season, they were planning to get Aaron out of prison. So, he can reunite with his family and also re-incorporate into his old Life. Thus it could be a better opportunity to take him out of prison just before the coronavirus outbreak. So, they can portray the pandemic and how the cast tackles such a situation further, by revealing the brutal side of the police.

The CW has renewed Dynasty Season 4 before its third season wrapped on the network. The series involved in controversy because of its mixed response from the audience. However, Blake’s daughter Fallon Carrington (Elizabeth Gillies), wasn’t happy with this engagement and tried to separate the couple. Unfortunately, her plan backfires, and Cristal got promoted because of Fallon. Meanwhile, Cristal’s nephew Sam “Sammy Jo” Jones (Rafael de la Fuente) romantically indulged with Fallon’s brother Steven (James Mackay). However, the family united against Cristal and tried to find about her dark past.

Dynasty Season 4: Renewed Long Back

On January 7, 2020, The CW released its 2020-2021 lineups. In that, Dynasty Season 4 has successfully secured its place along with other original shows of the network. The announcement came before its third season started airing on the network. However, many were surprised by this news as the series was always in a debate for its renewal. Dynasty secured the place on top 10 lists of most-watched shows on The CW. It earned a 7.3 positive response from the audience on IMDb. So, there’s no point in discussing why the streamer renewed the series.

Dynasty Season 4: When To Expect?

If considering the first three seasons release pattern, the fourth season is likely to stream in October 2020. Since the series debuted, every chapter started airing from October and wrapped up in the May of following year. Furthermore, the series scheduled for The CW 2020-2021 lineup. In an interview, Gillies spoke about the sudden hold of the production. She said that the previous season was supposed to have 22 episodes. However, this coronavirus outbreak made them wrap on 20th. Now, it’s unclear when the finale episode would air on the streaming network. Further, Gillies said, they don’t know whether to pick up the upcoming season from where they have left off or come up with something different.

Elizabeth said: “It was left-right amid our last day of 20th episode. But the season consists of a 22 episode, so there is no finale at this point. It ends in a peculiar place. I don’t know if we’ll pick up the finale later, I’m not sure what the plan is. It certainly shouldn’t end on the episode we finished, because it’s just random and nothing’s resolved. I apologized if it does.”

The second season of Altered Carbon ended in such a sad note that made fans wondering what will happen next with the main protagonist. That’s why fans are eagerly waiting for Altered Carbon Season 3. However, Netflix has yet to renew Altered Carbon for its third season. Altered Carbon, created by Laeta Kalogridis, is a cyberpunk drama series on Netflix. It’s based on Richard K. Morgan’s 2002 novel of the same name. The series set in 360 years in the future in a futuristic city called Bay City, where one consciousness can be transformed into another body. These memories are written onto the cortical stack, a disk-shaped device embedded in a person’s vertebrate. However, this cortical stack can be transformed after one’s human body (is known as sleeves) destroyed. So the body can die but not the memories until someone breaks the disc. They were thus giving everyone a chance to live forever.

Altered Carbon Season 3: Has Netflix Renewed The Show?

On February 27, 2020, Altered Carbon Season 2 landed on Netflix. Usually, the streamer takes a couple of months to decide the future of the show. Since the series has passed its trial period, it’s more crucial now as whether the show’s creator would return with the show or not. The series is based on Richard’s trilogy of the same title. However, they have already portrayed them in the second season. So, it could mean that the third season future is somewhat in a daze.

Anthony Mackie Wants To Reprise His Role

Anthony Mackie, who played Takeshi Kovacs, is eager to reprise his character. However, at the end of the previous season, his body was damaged. And now it seems his conscious will search for a new sleeve to revive. He told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s hoping to get another chance to play his part as it was his best experience to be a part of such a futuristic series. However, Mackie is unlikely to play Takeshi’s character again. But maybe the series creator has some other plans for his return.

Anthony said: “I hope I get the opportunity to bring Kavocs back again next season. I’m not ready (to leave like this). Working on Altered Carbon was one of the best experiences ever. I never had a bad day at work for the entire period. Playing Kavocs was like the family and the situation we developed as a cast and crew than it was just learning how to say my lines.”

Better Call Saul Season 6 is on its edge to solve the puzzle that the fifth season left. Since long, the fans knew that the six-season will serve as the final season. That means the creator Peter Gould has only one season left to wrap up all the secrets that he cooked in all the previous seasons. Although the series is a prequel of Breaking Bad, nobody’s ever saw Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) in that. So, what happens with her character and her relationship with Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk). The series set in the events before the Breaking Bad in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the early and mid-2000s. It follows the life of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), who’s working as an underpaid lawyer. Initially, he’s focused on working as public defense to fight for justice in his period.

Later, his life takes a twist towards the criminal direction. Due to rising illegal drug activity in his region, led by the Salamanca family, driven by Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton), the powerful drug mafia in that region. They were further joined by a former police officer Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), who becomes a drug broker. He started working for Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), who runs a restaurant where he supplies drugs.

Better Call Saul Season 6: Showrunner Teased Plot Details

While working on the script of the final season, Peter Gould had many questions to answer. He and his team were on constant brainstorming in the writers’ room to write a breathtaking finale for the sixth season. Peter shared his queries in an IndieWire’s Filmmaker Toolkit podcast. He said there’s an image that feels good to portray in the final season. But he’s still unsure whether to add it since the moral and structure of the story is somewhat changed.

He shared that his writer’s team visualize their character’s personalities first while framing their story arcs. Also, the series co-creator Vince Gilligan’s is continuously working on evolving those characters. The creator teased the show is all about either winning or losing. They haven’t witnessed any black and white format. Though sometimes they portrayed flash-forwards still the central theme will remain the same. But, whether every character in the story gets full justice or some will lose their fate. It’s still a secret as the scripting is not completed yet.

What Will Happen With Kim?

It’s no longer a prequel of Breaking Bad as the series created its whole different universe, far away from what happened in its sequel. Speaking about the characters, it seems they would not getting what they deserve. As in the previous season, Kim’s behavior changed, and it seems she’s planning something which would bring misfortune. The finale episode drew attention to the narrative gap between Kim and Jimmy. That lead her to knock on Waltz White’s (Bryan Cranston) door. However, her story arc isn’t disclosed yet, but something terrible is waiting in the next chapter.

Showrunner Taylor Shredian recently confirmed that Yellowstone Season 4 filming is on its way. However, they aren’t in a rush as a few episodes of its third season are still left to air. But, he assured that the upcoming season would be crazier than ever. In the third season, John and his family figured out a way to help Tate from his nightmares. The family opens camp to make the surrounding joyful for Tate. However, Beth finds an intruder, Roarke. Later she discovered that he had some big plan for their ranch. That is definitely not a good sign for their family.

Yellowstone, created by John Linson and Taylor Sheridan, is a neo-western drama series on Paramount Network. It follows the battle between the adjacent neighbors of a large cattle ranch. The series centered on the Dutton family guided by John Dutton, who handles the largest shared farm in the United States. However, the ranch was attacked continuously by the shared borders, and by other companies, including an Indian reservation and the United States of America’s first national park. This bloodshed and the ranch war was far away from the media’s eye. And the family struggles to save their ranch from those greedy eyes and also battles for their survival.

Taylor Sheridan Discussed About Filming

In an interview with Deadline, Taylor Sheridan confirmed that the filming for Yellowstone Season 4 would begin in mid-August. Initially, the filming was scheduled to start in July. However, it was pushed back due to the pandemic. Although, the showrunner also confirmed that they are fortunate that their shooting is set to Montana. Luckily, there are no cases of COVID-19 recorded until today. But, he’s concern about the spreading of the diseases. So, he and his team members would consider all the safety measures, in order to protect themselves and the people there from spreading this disease. Further, he said they would limit their interaction with the people out there.

Building A Separate House For Team

Taylor said the majority of the cast and crew members live in L.A., which is a hot spot of Coronavirus right now. So, it’s a little bit tough to move them and start the filming. However, he spoke to the governor of L.A., who advised him to quarantine his team for two weeks and make sure they don’t go to the restaurants or any other public place out there. So, Taylor came up with an idea which his friend Tyler Perry suggested to build a house for their team.

They are taking this step to avoid public interactions. They’re planning to provide a canteen and everything that they require to ensure everything is working safely. Further, they are trying to build an outdoor gym and a small restaurant. Moreover, they’re planning to include some kind of entertainment every day, so their team members don’t have to roam anywhere in the town. They simply want to make everything cheerful even in such circumstances.

Yellowstone Season 4: When To Expect?

Suppose everything goes as per showrunner’s plan without any further break in production, then Yellowstone Season 4 would air in late spring of 2021, said the showrunner. In which, the dark lord (Luke Cook) plays dirty tricks to bring Sabrina Spellman back in Hell. However, Sabrina finds a way to stay in both the world- mortal and immortal. Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, is a supernatural horror series on Netflix. The series is based on Archies’ Comic character, Sabrina. It’s set in the fictional small town of Greendale. The series focuses on a teen witch Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka), who’s a half-witch and half-human. Throughout the series, she struggles to find a way to live both lives without selecting one. However, her family wants her to choose the witch path. But, if she does, then she has to leave behind her teen-life in school and also her friends.

Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Season 4: Release Date

The third season landed on January 24, 2020. Soon after that, the team started working on the next chapter. Showrunner Roberto revealed that only few episodes were left to shoot when the global pandemic hit the world. However, there are no such comments on when the filming would start again. If they resume filming early, then we can expect Chilling Adventure Of Sabrina Season 4 to premiere later this year.

Unfortunately, Netflix also announced that season 4 will be the final season of this series. In an interview, the showrunner confirmed that this is the end of the saga. He further appreciated the cast, crew, producers, and the streaming platform in making such an amazing series. Roberto said: “Working on Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina has been an incredible honor from Day One.”

He continued: “The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been a pure joy. I am beyond thankful to the writers, crew, editors, and assistants. Everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show. I am also thankful to our partners at Netflix, Berlanti Television, Warner Bros. Also, Archie Comics for letting us tell the story that we wanted to tell. We can’t wait for everyone to see Part Four.”

Who Will Return For Final Run?

Of course, the witch is back with dual power and double spell. Kiernan Shipka will reprise her role as Sabrina Spellman. And she’s not alone as she’ll return with her family. Lucy Davis will return as Aunt Hilda and Miranda Otto as Aunt Zelda. And Chance Perdomo come around as Cousin Ambrose. Furthermore, Michelle Gomez will again play Mary Wardwell/Madam Satan/Lilith and Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood. Along with Tati Gabrielle as Prudence Blackwood.

In the previous season, Sabrina’s friends were promoted as the series regulars. So, her friends would return to their characters as well. These include Ross Lynch (Harvey Kinkle), Lachlan Watson (Theo Putnam), and Jaz Sinclair (Rosalind Walker). Further, Sabrina’s sorcerer boyfriend is also back. Gavin Leatherwood (Nick Scratch), is ready to play a powerful role in the upcoming season.

Quibi has greenlit Most Dangerous Game Season 2. Recently, the series creator Nick Santora has been working to take back the rights of the series from the streaming platform, to turn the series in a stand-alone movie. However, the series has been renewed for another season. So, it’s unclear whether the streamer handed them their primary rights. Let’s see whether Nick can turn his thrilling series into a stand-alone movie or not. Currently, the stakes set prey is ready, and hunting is set to begin. Though series concluded with Dodge giving up everything he has till that date to end the hunting game. But Nick knows how to start it all again.

It follows Dodge Tynes’s (Liam Hemsworth) struggles to stabilize his financial condition. Dodge and his wife were expecting a baby while he was working on solving his debt issue. Later, he got an offer to participate in a life-threatening game that can provide him immense wealth. However, the game is built on panic, fear, and paranoia, as hunters are everywhere to kill Dodge, and he has to run and survive. The long he survives, the higher prize he’ll achieve.

Renewed For The Second Season

Most Dangerous Game has officially been renewed for the second season. The series got a mixed review from the audience. It gained 7.4 ratings on IMDb and 59% on Rotten Tomatoes. In an interview with Deadline, showrunner Nick Santora announced that the upcoming season would center on a new runner, and also Christoph Waltz is back. The screenwriter already wrapped up the second season’s scripting. The only thing left is the filming of the second season.

Nick further stated that they are hoping to return on set when everything gets cleared up. Furthermore, he teased that the upcoming season would film in New York. He said: “We’re prepping it now to film it when there’s a handle on filming safely in the time of COVID-19. The second season will take place in my hometown of New York, and we’re going to be chasing that poor person all over New York, Long Island.”

Most Dangerous Game Season 2: Quibi Dealing Rights

In the interview, Nick spoke about the series rights. He said he’s dealing with taking the first rights of the show from the streaming platform. There’s a potential buyer who’s interested in creating Most Dangerous Game as a film, and it will be a big deal if they crack it. Just take those ten-minute sections and work with the composer to enhance those musical clues, get the finalized scene, and ready for action.

A little bit of effort can turn into a nine-hour and fifty-minute film that will work well. Further, it would be an excellent opportunity to reach a massive audience with a featured movie. Fortunately, Quibi also supported this idea and gave the rights to the series creator to see how his mega plan works this time.
