Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 has been expected to premiere this fall in the US. NBC’s police procedural comedy-drama, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, got early greenlit before its season seven hit the streaming platform. This early announcement was worth taking as the show got the highest ratings and positive feedback from the critics and the audience. However, the series would follow immense changes in their storyline after the Black Lives Matter protests. Brooklyn Nine-Nine, created by Micheal Schur and Dan Goor, is a comedy police-drama television series. In the last season, Captain Raymond Holt fought for his captaincy and not getting demoted from his work. Eventually, he survived and returned to his position after his rival Madeline Wuntch’s unexpected death.

Meanwhile, Jake and Amy decided to try for a baby. Ultimately, they discovered that Amy is pregnant after struggling to conceive for six months. The night Amy’s water broke, was the blackout experience for Brooklyn. However, she managed to lead that blackout protocol, while Charles and Jake captured a group of bank robbers who created chaos in the entire city. Somehow, Jake manages to take Amy to the hospital with his colleagues’ help, where she gave birth to a baby boy named McClane ‘Mac’ Peralta.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8: Release Date

NBC revealed its scheduled plan for premiering its upcoming series this fall on June 16. Surprisingly, Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 has a slot in this plan. NBC revealed that season 8 would premiere this fall in the US. When Brooklyn Nine-Nine was a part of the Fox network, the series lined up to premiere in fall itself. However, when NBC picked the series, it has been a part of the midseason lineup. But, this shift in its streaming date is because of the current crisis. Affected By Black Lives Matter Protest

George Floyd’s death in police custody changed the future of all the police-procedural shows. Many cops’ series, such as Cops and Live PD, got canceled, in response to police cruelty and protest to Black Lives Matter. The series gained positive responses from the audience and critics. Despite that, Netflix decided to wrap up the series. However, Netflix has yet to announce the premiere schedule for Atypical Season 4. Due to the global pandemic, Netflix has put a hold on all of its show’s productions. So, fans could expect Atypical Season 4 to stream later this year.

Atypical, created by Robia Rashid, is a coming-of-age series of Netflix. It follows the story of 18-year-old Sam Gardner (Keir Gilchrist). Sam, who’s having autism spectrum disorder, decides to start dating girls. He approaches his father for his advice. His father, Dough was surprised since it was difficult for him to connect with his son. Later, Dough discovered that Sam’s crush is his 26-year-old therapist, Julia. He warns Sam to approach girls of his age. However, Sam told him he needs a practice girlfriend to learn the social nuances of dating. The entire show features Sam’s struggle in high school as well as college.

Atypical Season 4: Renewed!

Netflix has ordered the fourth and final season of Atypical. The series gained 8.3 ratings in IMDb and 87% in Rotten Tomatoes. The critics also love it for the amount of autistic content and the relations portrayed by the characters. Atypical also got nominated for the Peabody award for the loyal fanbase and critical acclaim. That’s worth picking up for the next season.

Despite these responses, Netflix declared that the upcoming season will be the final season of the series. Well, many Netflix originals couldn’t make it up to the fourth season. Atypical made it slot in Netflix’s original series that completed or about to complete its fourth season, including The Unbreakable, Grace and Frankie, Fuller House, Kimmy Schmidt, and The Ranch.

Robia Rashid Excited For Next Season

Showrunner Robia Rashid spoke to Deadline about the upcoming season. She’s overwhelmed by fans’ response as Atypical’s journey is near to its end. Robia said: “I’m excited! We’ll be doing the fourth season of Atypical. And while I’m so sad to be close to the end of this series. I am extremely pleased to have been able to tell this story. Our fans have been such vibrant, beautiful supporters of this show.”

Robia told Deadline that she’s looking for other ways to tell stories of other autistic people too. She added: “Thank you for listening to Sam’s stories and voice. And those of the entire Gardner family. I hope that the chronicle of Atypical is that more unheard voices pursue to be heard. And that even after Atypical ends. We keep telling emotional, funny stories from marginalized points of view.”

Atypical Season 4: What To Expect?

In the previous season, Sam enrolls in Denton University’s Scientific Illustration program, to explore more about science. He has also been trying to find love, while figuring out what success means to him, including growing up with peer pressure. Its been long since the arrival of the last installment of American Gods. Although American Gods Season 3 was renewed on March 15, 2019. The announcement came soon after Charles Eglee and Hemlock Grove declared as the showrunner for the upcoming season. The production was scheduled to start in September 2019 till March 2020. There, Moon discovered that magic is real, in which the Old Gods fear immateriality seeing New Gods’ growing power, that uses technology and media. So, Mr. Wednesday decides to reunite the Old Gods to rebuild their lost existence.

American Gods Season 3: Renewed Long Back!

Last year, Amazon and Starz renewed American Gods Season 3 along with an exciting announcement. Chic Eglee, along with Hemlock Dead, has joined the show as the showrunners. Neil Gaiman, the executive producer and the genius behind this series, felt delighted with this news. Neil said: “I’m thrilled American Gods has been renewed for the third season, and even more excited that I’m getting to work on it with Chic Eglee. Chic is the best accomplice. We’ve been engaged for weeks now on the shape of the season, and I’m pleased that he gets to carry the American Gods’ torch on to glory.”

Neil Gaiman Thanked The Network

Despite the problems American Gods Season 2 faced during filming, Neil thanked the streaming network and his previous showrunner for bringing this series. He said: “Thank you to Amazon and Fremantle Starz for having faith in the series, to Bryan, Jesse, and Micheal for bringing it this far. And to all the cast and crew, and especially to the viewers. It’s their love that took us to this point and will take us on to the next chapter.”

American Gods Season 3: Casts Joining

Chic Eglee teased that musician Marilyn Manson has joined the cast. Marilyn will play Johan Wengren’s character in the first four episodes of the upcoming season. Neil also confirmed that veteran actress Blythe Danner would play Demeter (the Greek goddess of the harvest) character in the first four episodes as well. Chic said: “It’s a rare privilege to be working with Ms. Blythe Danner, a dear friend, inspiration, and national treasure.” Along with these, a vast list of celebrities has joined the upcoming season, along with the old faces.

Orlando Jones, who played Mr. Nancy won’t return to season 3. Since his character didn’t appear in the segment which is being portrayed in the upcoming series. Jones was unhappy with this decision. According to him, it’s “spiteful and insanely hurtful.” Further, he posted a video on his Twitter account claiming that Chic Eglee is giving the wrong message for black America.

When To Expect Next Season?

Amazon and Starz have yet to announce when American Gods Season 3 would premiere. However, it’s likely to premiere this fall since filming wrapped up before the ongoing pandemic hits the production.

Will There Be Any Season 4?

Neil is so excited about working with Chic that he’s hoping for American Gods Season 4. He wanted the streaming platform to greenlit the series for the fourth season as soon as possible, so they could start working on it “sooner, the better.” Neil said: “What I’m hoping is it’s less about how long it’s going to take season three than take season 4 renewals once season three is underway so we can keep the writers’ room on and get the scripts written.”

Peaky Blinders Season 6: Delayed?

Director Anthony clarified the details about the returning of the sixth part in an exclusive live-streamed interview with Digital Spy. He admitted that it would be hard to resume the work this year. He says that they might start the shooting in early 2021 and take around 5 to 6 months to end. Furthermore, it will also need six months of the editing process. Therefore we might not even have the series in near 2021. But who knows what happens next, everything might soon be on track letting the work started as quickly as possible.

The Aspect Might Change

The script was written before the happening of lockdown, and it was ready to be filmed. But, hopefully, the filming part didn’t start. Because once it had been started, there would have been less chance of making changes. Now, there is the possibility of adding new elements to it. Anthony says. ‘Extra time has given Steve a chance to fitness the scripts even more, which will only improve the show’s outcome.’

Tommy Shelby Will Be Challenged

Anthony also revealed that a new female character would challenge Tommy Shelby. Furthermore, the upcoming season will start from that of the ending of the previous one. Tommy was teetering on the verge of suicide, with a gun pointed at his head. Anthony says, ‘The very first image you will see him back in the field, with a gun to his head and then moves on from there and resolve that amazing moment.” Therefore, the show’s going to be a super hit, and fans can’t wait for it to happen.

Black Mirror Season 6: Netflix’s sci-fi series Black Mirror released the fifth season of the series in June 2019. The installment was received brilliantly for its dystopian storytelling. Brooker suggests that with the whole epidemic and the depressing atmosphere, it would be unsuitable for bringing Black Mirror Season 6. Especially now, with so much going on, a series about societies falling apart can really prove harmful. 

Brooker Is Taking Time To Work On Other Things

In the same interview, Brooker revealed that he is busy doing things. He said that he could not talk about what he is doing or what he is not doing, but he is doing something. Brooker stated that he does not know what it would take to do something about stories of societies falling apart. So, he isn’t working on ant of those at the moment. He is trying to revisit his comic skill set. So, at the moment, he is just writing scripts that can make him laugh. 

The previous season of Black Mirror released on Netflix in June 2019. The series was three episodes long starring Andrew Scott, Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, and Topher Grace, along with many others. Members Who Will Be Back In The House

Netflix’s horror series of The Haunting will follow the same pattern as American Horror Story. They will bring back members from the old cast in new seasons in new roles. Many members from the original cast will be coming back for the second season. 

Coming back to the franchise is Catherine Parker. Though, her role in the show is not yet revealed. Mike Flanagan announced her return via Twitter. Another actor is Kate Siegel, who we saw in the inaugural installment as Theo, Crane’s sibling. We don’t know what character she will play in The Haunting of Bly Manor, either.

Henry Thomas, who was a part of The Haunting of Hill House, is returning for The Haunting of Bly Manor. The former famous child actor will be next seen in The Great Alaskan Race and will play Dr. Mid-Nite in the DC series- Stargirl. Another Alum is Oliver Jackson Cohen, who will be back for The Haunting of Hill House season 2. He is coming in to play Peter, who is described as a very charming fellow. 

Victoria Pedretti is coming back to portray Dani, the governess in the house. As per the traditional story, she will be the one who takes care of the young orphan siblings who are later on possessed by the ghosts.

It is not just the old faces who will make up the whole cast. The new set of actors joining the upcoming season includes T’Nia Miller from Years and Years, Rahul Kolhi from Supergirl, and Amelia Eve. Miller and Eve are set to portray the lead roles in The Haunting of Bly Manor. 

No More Crain Family In The Haunting of Hill House Season 2

Talking about The Haunting of Hill House season two, or as called The Haunting of Bly Manor, creator Mike Flanagan has discussed what could be coming up. In an interview with Digital Spy Flanagan stated that in the first season, they got to explore the Shirley Jackson universe. The Turn of The Screw will mostly inspire the second season. He said that they know that the story has been adapted many times before. However, they have used many other Henry James’s ghost stories to fill the gaps in the season. 

Flanagan went on to say that even if the viewers know The Turn of the Screw well, there are many surprises in The Haunting of Bly Manor. They have used some ghost stories that haven’t ever been adapted. They all thematically go on well. The creator revealed that it was fun for him to craft the plot for the second season.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Flanagan spoke about the idea of an anthology series after the first installment. He said that they had covered the Crain family’s story through and through in the season, and they have left them exactly the way they wanted. So, the creators aren’t planning more of the Crain family in the upcoming season. In the same interview, Flanagan quoted Steve and stated that the show is entirely about haunted places and people, and they have enough of both of it, so there’s a lot of things they can do. 

The Haunting of Hill House Season 2: What Could Be Coming up? 

Flanagan recently revealed that The Haunting of the Hill House season two would tell a very different story. It will take inspiration from The Turn of the Screw- the classic horror novel by Henry James, but still be very different. The creator revealed that they are looking into Henry James’s ghost stories as the jumping-off point in the season. So, it’s very different.

The Turn of the Screw’s original story features a governess who looks after two small kids is a huge house in a remote part of a town. The house may or may not be possessed by ghosts. As the governess starts inquiring about things she is seeing, she starts thinking if it is paranoia or just her mistrust in a new place. There comes the point when she starts questioning her own sanity. 

Talking about their decision to create the storyline, Flanagan revealed that they found it really cook to expand on many things. Just like the things they did in the first season. However, in the second season, they are working on a new story without the restriction of how they curated the story in the first season. Flanagan has promised a little dopamine rush for all the viewers. 

Release Date 

Everybody knows that The Haunting of Bly Manor is releasing sometime in 2020. But nobody knows exactly when. The creators have not let much information slip out. The inaugural season is released in October, so fans expect Season two to follow the same schedule and release around Halloween.

The Rain is a Danish post-apocalyptic web TV series. It made its debut on May 4, 2018, on Netflix and became an instant hit. After looking at the response, the creators gave it the green light for the second season, which premiered last year. Both the seasons received an enormous response from the fans as well as the critics. The drama is ranked as the top non-English Netflix original watched by more than 30 million viewers. The Rain Season 3: Plot Details!

Netflix released the official description of The Rain Season 3. It reads, “Years after the rain decimated the people of Scandinavia, Simone and Rasmus find themselves at edges on saving humankind. Rasmus wants to affect everyone with the very beta version of the virus that transformed him into a superhuman. While Simone thinks that there must be an antidote. Will they manage to put their disagreements aside to do the right thing?”

The Rain Season 3: Release Date

Fox’s reality cooking show for kids, MasterChef Junior, has completed seven seasons. And the show has been commissioned for MasterChef Junior Season 8. What’s The Format?

The show- MasterChef Junior follows a format where many children come in to compete against one another while maintaining a healthy environment. The show lets children aged 8-13 years apply for the auditions through call agents or online. The interested kids submit videos of their cooking skills in order to get shortlisted. Out of all the applications, twenty-four kids come in for the audition. They are divided into three groups. Out of the eight groups, four groups get into the competition. 

As the competition proceeds, participants are narrowed down. The last kid standing on the show is the winner of MasterChef Junior. The winner wins a $100,000 cash prize and a memorable experience of the competition. 

One of the best features of the show is the culinary skills and the dedication all the budding talented kids bring. Honestly, the kids lag nowhere behind than the adults on the parallel MasterChef series. The kids display top-notch cooking and presentation skills. 

The kids on the show prepare number of dishes, cuisines, and courses, which include appetizers, mains, and desserts. Their skills and creativity put in an ultimate test in the show. Daphne OZ On-Board For MasterChef Junior Season 8

In the fourth season of MasterChef Junior, Christina Tosi came in to judge the show along with Gordon Ramsay. Until now, she has been a part of the show. However, in MasterChef Season 8, that will change. Daphne OZ is coming on board. She will replace Christina Tosi to be on the show, along with Gordon Ramsay and Aarón Sanchez. 

Daphne Nur Oz is an American television host and nutrition author. She was one of the hosts on the American daytime talk show- The Chew. The show airs on ABC. Daphne Nur Oz has been a part of the show from 2011-2017. The Chef has even penned down many books over time. 

Renewal Status & Release Date

MasterChef Junior initially released in September 2013. Based on the same format as the British Junior MasterChef, the show was renewed in March 2014. The third season of the show was renewed even before the second season released. The second season released in November 2014, followed by the third season in January 2015. The fourth season released later the same year in November 2015. However, the fifth season released a year later in 2017. The sixth season premiered in March 2018. 

The seventh season of the show released with a special two-episode season in March 2019. In July 2019, MasterChef Junior Season 8 was green-lit. In a statement on May 11, 2020, the network revealed that the show is set to premiere in fall 2020. However, with the current global pandemic going on, it seems less likely.
