    House of Cards Season 7: Created by Beau Willimon, House of Cards is an American political television drama that aired on Netflix. The last season, season six of the show released in November 2018. Ever since then, fans have been asking for House of Cards Season 7.

    The sixth season continues to tell the story of the newly inaugurated Democratic president Claire Underwood. She is dealing with the new threats from within and outside of the White House after the death of her husband and former president Frank Underwood. The elites Annette and Bill Shepherd attempt to manipulate and destroy Claire’s presidency. In the meantime, she tries to escape her husband’s shadow.

    The sixth season ended with a number of loose ends that fans need answers to. Would there be House of Cards Season 7 that comes bearing all these answers? It does not look like it. In fact, Netflix has canceled the show. But Why? Here is all about it- 

    Why Was The Show Cancelled? 

    Back in 2016, Netflix decided to cancel House of Cards after six seasons. The Hollywood Reporter reported that according to the creators of the show, House of Cards had reached a point in terms of creativity where they don’t have many arcs to pursue. So, it felt reasonable for them to bring the show to an end.

    However, we believe that there were many other reasons for this cancellation. One of the biggest reasons was the sexual assault allegations against Kevin Spacey. This cancellation announcement came only a day after Buzzfeed had published an article where actor Anthony Rapp alleged that Kevin Spacey tried to have sex with him when the former was only fourteen. Though Netflix did not say that out loud, it seemed quite clear that this scandal had affected the future of House of Cards. 

    Netflix could not have seen these allegations against Spacey, and then his exit from the House of Cards franchise would cause some major issues for the series. The fifth season had successfully set up that the sixth season of the show would be Claire vs. Frank. To take control of the situation, Frank had resigned from the presidency to dodge Claire. Then succeeded him as a President. However, Claire didn’t want to be dragged down because of his husband’s name. So, she claimed that her leadership would be a steely-eyed declaration with My turn. While the sixth season was successful in changing the direction that the fifth season had indicated, it still would have been difficult for the creators to continue with the show.

    While we believe in saying, Never say never, it seems less likely that House of Cards Season 7 would ever happen. Netflix, indeed, believes in reviving TV shows that have been canceled before. For instance, they have brought many tv series back to life before, including Gilmore Girls, Black Mirror, and Arrested Development. However, when it comes to House of Cards, it seems unlikely that Netflix would allow any other streaming platform to take over the show.

    With the end of House of Cards in 2018, it was indeed an end of the era for Netflix. The show was the first original series that Netflix had produced. The show had brought in a number of viewers to the streaming platform. Ever since then, Netflix has been successful in expanding its territory with originally made content. With that said, rounding back to House of Cards, now that the show is canceled. This helped people in the autism community to reach out to them and express their interest in being a part of the series. O’Clery says that they had hundreds of hundreds of applications. This showed that people want and need shows like this.

    Talking about Love on the Spectrum Season 2, O’Clery explained that the upcoming seasons would focus on telling more stories with the neurodiverse community. He says that there are many more stories they have to tell. Right now, they are just scratching the surface. He also revealed that many fans are also hoping for a reunion for the first season because clearly, fans fell in Love with the cast of the first season.

    Reports reveal that the applications for the second season of the show had opened in June 2020. The show has gained immense popularity in Australia, and hence the show was renewed in no time. The cast for the show is different than any of the other realities show, and everyone knows why.

In an interview with Decider, the creator revealed everything that could happen on the show. He says that they think that as long as they stick to the characters, they will be able to handle new elements that will be added to the show.

    With that revelation, Guzikowski admitted that the new elements for which he is most excited to see in the second season is the relationship of the mother and her ravenous child. Guzikowski also confirmed that the ravenous child is a version of the extinct serpent whose bones are all over Kepler-22b. However, this child has some new attributes that the original serpents didn’t have because of who the mother of this child is.

    Guzikowski explains that he is very excited to continue this story. He says that now that the mother has this natural child and she has unleashed it in the world. He says that viewers already know that by the end of the first season, Mithraic manages to wipe away all the religions as they took over. At the beginning of the show, all religions were fighting with each other, but then Mithraic won the battle, and that kind of simplified the whole equation as Mithraic started working on wiping all the religions altogether.

The executive producer went on to say that he is from Miami, and when they were doing the project, they decided that they would have the whole Latinx family and the cast be largely Latinx.

    He says that all of it felt very intuitive. They are very pleased to have all of them on board.     As the story moves forward, Gang-tae goes on to work at Okay Psychiatric Hospital in Seongjin City. It is the same city where all of them lived when all of them were young. In the meantime, Ko Moon-Young becomes romantically obsessed with Moon Gang-Tae after knowing that their pasts are overlapped. She goes after him to Seong-jin, where the three of them start healing their emotional wounds. The show was indeed a big success. Will we get more of it?     The first season of Love Is Blind brought in the concept of Pod, and that became one of the most recognized features of the reality show. After all, that was one of the features that differentiated Netflix’s dating show from all others. So, fans can expect to see the singles in Love Is Blind Season 2 to date via these pods in the upcoming season.     Ted Danson Is Pissed About The Cancelation

    We as fans are very upset with The Good Place Season 5 getting canceled, but we are not the only ones. One of the lead stars on the show- Ted Danson, who plays Michael, the architect thinks that the story should have continued. Michael Schur, the showrunner, has been the person behind several sitcoms, including Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Office, etc. All these shows have had a long shelf life. So, everyone had assumed that The Good Place would be pretty long too. Sadly, in 2017, NBC announced that the fourth season of The Good Place would be the last of the show, and the team delivered the best possible conclusion.

    In an interview with Deadline, The Good Place cast confirmed that they thought that the show had a bittersweet ending. D’Arcy Carden, who plays Janet on the series, revealed that she could not stop crying when she read the scripts. Chiming with Carden’s comments, Ted Danson says that they are all p*ssed off! Carden agreed to this and went on to say that she is just trying to be sweet, but they were all pretty mad and sad when they found out that the show was ending.

    The show had pretty steady viewership figures and ratings on NBC, so we were all bound to start wondering why the show was canceled. The decision was not dependent on viewership or ratings, but it was all because of creative reasons, and NBC chose to respect that decision.

    In an interview, Schur said that he had an ending planned since he was working on the second season of the show. There were many speculations that the narrative would expand beyond Team Cockroach, making it to The Good Place with their new allies- Janet and Michael, but then when the show reached that point, it felt like it was the right time to end it.

The show’s cancelation was a creative decision, so we must all pray that Michael Schur gets hit by the lighting of creativity and new arc for The Good Place and who knows, he might come back with more seasons later.

Based on Lucy Maud Montgemery’s novel- Anne of Green Gables, the Tv adaption of the show was created by Moira Walley Beckett.

    The show stars Amybeth McNulty as the main lead Anne of Green Gables who is a chatty orphan. She is then adopted by elderly siblings Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. In the three seasons of the show, Anne Shirley Cuthbert becomes fond of her home at Green Gables and forms some very strong friendships as she pursues her creative interests. The latest and the third season of the show follows Anne’s journey as she gets into college along with Gilbert Blythe.     The Canadian show Anne with an E will not return for a fourth season. While announcing the news, the creators said that a number of countries have a done deal with Netflix the way they do. And over time, they have realized that they are feeding on Netflix’s growth or feeding on Amazon’s growth rather than feeding their own business and industry. CBC and Netflix announced this cancellation back in November 2019, a day after the third season of the show aired.

    In another interview in 2019, the general manager of programming at CBC revealed that the primary reason for the shows’ cancellation was it’s viewership figures. The series had become famous amongst the youth but the viewership numbers of the show were not as strong in the older CBC viewers. In the statement, Catto said that the viewership number weren’t lifting enough, they weren’t reaching on the specific target.

    Anne with an E has become one of those shows that have a loyal fanbase. Soon after the show was cancelled, the hashtag #renewannewithanE started trending on various social media platforms. Back in the time, no one knew why the show was canceled or would there be more of the series or not. Fans came to know the real reason for this cancelation when in October 2019, the CBC President Catherine Tait expressed her displeasure with Netflix and revealed that the Canadian interests are their first priority.

    This announcement did not stop wanting to have Anne with an E Season 4. Fans have created a change.org petition to save the show, which has 1,397,527 hands-up until now. Many social media campaigns have also got into action to save the show. However, it does not looks like fans have been able to save the show. The show’s status is still unchanged.
