Carnival Row Season 2: Release In 2021, Wars and New Alliances Ahead, Know More Details

Carnival Row Season 2: Amazon’s fantasy drama Carnival Row is coming back for the second season. Created by Travis Beacham and René Echevarria, the show moves forward in a Victorian fantasy world featuring many mythological immigrant creatures who once lived in an exotic homeland. Then humans invade their land. This sudden growth in population leads to struggles of co-existing under the given laws of humanity.

Carnival Row Season 2 received renewal in July 2019, and fans have been waiting for the show to release ever since. The show first started production in March 2020, but then everything was put on hold. However, now things are getting back on track. What’s happening with the show? Here is all we know-

Carnival Row Season 2: Production Details

The Carnival Row Season 2 got into production back in November 2019. However, the pandemic happened, and the country was shut down. The shooting was suspended on March 12, when only two weeks of shooting were left. Now, months after, recent reports reveal that Carnival Row Season 2 has completed the filming. Variety recently reported that the Czech Republic had allowed all the international shoots from May 7, 2020. However, American shows did not start the production until the agreements between Hollywood and other unions were in place.

David Minkowski, the producer from Stillking Films, says that Carnival Row Season 2 is the first global show that got back on its feet and completed filming. In his statement, Minkowski says that the film industry has suffered a lot because of the COVID-19. He appreciates that the Czech government made fast decisions and supported the film industry in restarting the production. The producer went on to say that Honestly, they had adopted strict health and safety measures even though the virus count in the city was quite low. This is good news that the show has completed the show.

What Is Coming Up?

The first season of Carnival Row left fans with two major storylines; these are the storylines that could be explored in Carnival Row Season 2. The first storyline included the Darkasher killings, where Philo was investigating the mystery of Philo’s origins. This whole investigation turned out to be connected when everyone came to know that Piety Breakspear was responsible for all the killings and Chancellor Absalom Breakspear is Philo’s father.

Since Philo was a half-far, half-human, he found himself in a tough space. He found himself quite torn between the two worlds. He forcibly had to hide his real nature. Then Jonah Breakspear over-took his fathers’ place, and Chancellor declared war on the non-humans. Leading to all of this, all the Carnival Row inhabitants found themselves stuck in what they called concentration camp within the Burge. When Philo saw Vignette on the other side, Philo declared himself a critch and joined Vignette and his other faes in Carnival Row.

As for Carnival Row Season 2, one can expect to see Fae’s fighting for their freedom from the new alliance created by Jonah Breakspear and Sophie Longerbane. In the meantime, we might also get to see the lovers Agreus Astrayon and Imogene Spurnrose as they find themselves on the run.

Ezra, on the other hand, will have to deal with all the after-effects of the ongoing war. It will be very interesting to see how the writers retain their crime mystery in the upcoming events. This war and all the events will indeed introduce a new case of Vignette and Philo as they move onto Carnival Row Season 2.

When Would The Show Release?

The second season of the show was to release sometime in 2020. However, with the whole pandemic situation going on, it seemed less likely that the second season would release 2020. But now, since the team has successfully completed the production of the show, Carnival Row Season 2 can release in the first half of 2021. After the first season was released, all fans were quite excited for Daybreak Season 2. However, a few months after that, Netflix announced that the show was coming to an end. Everything That Could Have Happened-

There were a number of storylines that could have been explored if we would have got Daybreak Season 2. There were many twists and turns throughout the first season that could have been explored in the coming season.

By the end of the show, Principle Burr was stopped, and the nuclear bomb was launched into space. It kind of looked like a happy ending. Then at the celebration party, Josh told Sam that he loved her, only for Sam to reject him. Josh is one of the very few people who were alive by the end and have not changed. Things became quite dark by the end when Sam declared herself the leader of the whole thing. What could have happened next? Here is all we know-

Sam Becomes the Villain

Sam takes the jocks and all other factions in her control and becomes one of the strongest leaders Greendale had ever seen. The only factions who did not support Sam included Angelica, Josh, Turbo, and Wesley. It is still unclear what kind of leader would Sam turns out to be. Many characters like Josh were in favor of the idea of ‘Sam Dean,’ and she could have used it. Then she could have also become a Tyrannical dictator to control her own territory the way she wants to. The only person who can stand against her is Josh.

Josh Becomes The Hero!

While Sam becomes the villain, Daybreak Season 2 will need a hero. Josh will be the hero we are all waiting for. He is heartbroken and would become a reluctant hero. He was able to unite mall survivors into Daybreaks, and he also united all the remaining factions to take on the Jocks. Sam and Josh are not together. In fact, they are at war. So, it is clear that Sam has no interest in Josh anymore. Josh is emotional, and he would take some time to move on. KJ could be a choice for Josh when he moves on from Sam. So, that could be Josh moving on.

American Crime Story Season 3: Ryan Murphy is coming back with the third season of American Crime Story. The show has earlier tackled a number of major national issues, including the OJ Simpson trial and Gianni Versace’s murder in the initial two seasons.

The third season of the show is titled- Impeachment: American Crime Story. This season will tell the story of President Bill Clinton in his office in the late 90s. Plans Have Changed

While all Crime Story fans are eagerly waiting for the American Crime Story Season 3, it looks like there has been a change in plans. American Crime Story isn’t moving forward with their pre-planned theme Katrina. Ryan Murphy, the creator of the show and FX, has now announced that the third season will be based on Impeachment. It will be based on Toobin Clinton’s book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President. The show will focus on Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky’s relationship and the impeachment proceedings after that.

In an interview talking about their theme- Katrina, Ryan Murphy said that they tried to develop that theme. However, it was very expensive and vast in terms of scope. So, they could not figure out how to use it. In the interview, Murphy says that he does not think they would do it anymore. They have a number of crime stories they are working on, and it was getting very hard. Each season of the show anyways takes two years to write. They never do things they are not absolutely sure of. Now they will be moving forward with this impeachment story.

American Crime Story Season 3: Production Updates

The show was supposed to release in September 2020. It was a date two months before the presidential election. However, then the show was delayed. Initially, this shift was due to the production schedule. In a statement, Landgraf revealed that the show would not be complete by that time. It is a long production. At that time, Ryan was busy with Prom for Netflix, and all that was only delaying American Crime Story Season 3. Then COVID happened, and everything got delayed furthermore. Reports suggest that the show is all set to get into production in mid-October. Now we know that the show might release sometime in 2021.

Who Is In The Cast?

As for the cast of the show, we know Beanie Feldstein will play Monica Lewinsky in American Crime Story Season 3. Sarah Paulson will come in to play Linda Tripp. Linda Tripp is the woman who secretly taped Lewinsky’s confession. Annaleigh will come in to play Paula Jones. She had accused Clinton of sexual harassment in 1994. Clive Owen will come in as Bill Clinton. Monica Lewinsky, the intern who had an affair with Bill Clinton, will be the executive producer of the show. This scandal story has been told a number of times. But Lewinsky’s involvement has been shown in different perspectives. In a statement, Murphy says that he told Lewinsky that nobody should tell her story, but she herself. It would be gross if they did it for her. He asked her if she would like to produce it with him, then he would love it and she should be the producer.

In an interview with VF, Lewinsky says that she was hesitant and a little scared to get on-board. But after a dinner meeting with Ryan, she understood that Ryan is giving his voice to marginalize in all of his work. She feels privileged to work with him and the whole team. Lewinsky went on to say that people have been opting and telling her part of the story for years, and it wasn’t very long ago that she got to reclaim the narrative. She is grateful for the growth society has made. It is allowing people like her to tell her story, who has been historically silenced to tell their side of the story.

What Has Happened So Far?

The main storyline of How To Get Away With Murder is the trial. The last episode of the sixth season ends with Annalise not being guilty for the conspiracy. The truth comes out that she never killed anyone. There were a number of twists and turns in the final episode, but one thing that held onto everything was Annalise’s final speech. She breaks down how this whole conspiracy was made up. While the finale seems to have ended on a happy note, it does not.

There were a number of characters alive and involved. There was a mysterious shooting, which was then fast-forwarded to the funeral, where fans could think that Annalise has received the narrative punishment for her outspokenness. However, Annalise is alive, and she survives all the way where it is revealed that she indeed lived a happy and long life.

As for the other characters, Tegan survives and is seen dancing with Annalise in the future. Lauren gets into the car with the baby and gets out of the gunshots seen. Both Connor and Oliver are also alive. Connor heads to the prison, and Oliver then faces the divorce. Michaela also survives but has no friends and is alone. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2: Back in February 2019, the creators had announced that they would be working on the eighth volume of the Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon manga series with a wraparound jacket band. In June 2019, the news surfaced that the studio will be returning for Dragon Maid Season 2. And it was speculated that it will be announced in a stage even that would be scheduled in November 2019. kViN from Sakuga Blog had tweeted back in the time that he hopes that the studio moves forward with the anime despite the fact that Takemoto is no longer with them.

This 2017 anime- Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid was led by Kyoto Animation director Yasuhiro Takemoto. We lost the man in the deadly Kyoto Animation fire that happened in 2019. Another man- Shiho Morisaki, a 27-year-old who worked on the anime, also lost his life in the fire.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 will indeed be a dark chapter in this anime series. There will be new dragons and some comedy moments. There will also be a number of dark stories and characters coming up. We can expect the show to open with a landslide. This has destroyed the place where Kobayashi and Tohru had met for the first time. After this event, Tohru knows that this isn’t a natural thing given that she had put a barrier to preserve the spot till eternity. So, she will embark on a journey to find out the culprit. After this, we might get to meet the antagonist of the series- Iruru, who desires the destruction of the world and has been observing Tohru as her first target.

Who Is Iruru?

Iruru is the new dragon in the series who would not mind fighting dirty and targets the human city. For all of her life, Iruru has been told that humans were her enemy. It is Tohru’s concern for the humans that makes Iruru want to know more about humanity too. We can expect to see Iruru’s story arc, focusing mainly on explaining Iruru’s hatred for humanity. When Iruru was a child, she used to play with humans in a different world, but then humans invaded dragons’ land. This meant that humans were the reason why Iruru lost her parents, and now she has all the hate for the humankind.

Another Dragon Cremene Will Be A Part Of The Show

We will get to see another harmony faction dragon called Cremene in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2. She is the Slaughterer who is obsessed with clearing out the world from everything she thinks is evil. The dragon will act like a judge, a jury, and also an executioner. She will try to kill Iruru but will be saved when Kobayashi interferes while Tohru fights Cremene.

Later on, in the show, we can assume that once all details about Iruru are out and her storyline has been played out, things might get a bit relaxed. The first season of the series had hinted to a future hot spring that would take up Chapter 33. This chapter has all the characters stripping naked. In the manga, Tohru was shown topless, but in the anime version, it is possible that it would not be so explicitly sexual. The Crown Season 4: What Is Coming Up?

The Crown Season 4 will take us from the years 1977 to 1990, though the creators have not revealed the exact timeline yet. Although we know that this season Queen Elizabeth and the royal family will safeguard their succession line. We will get to see Prince Charles getting married to Lady Diana Spencer. That will be a fairytale we will get to see in on the show on the screen. The crown season three will also bring in Margaret Thatcher, the in-time Prime Minister. Things will get as intense as they can be as the country will be headed towards the Falklands War leading to conflict within the Commonwealth.

Speculations have it that The Crown Season 4 will cover the incidents around 1981, where six shots were fired at the Queen. The Boys Season 3: Amazon just started releasing the latest episodes for the second season of The Boys. It looks like Amazon is way too confident about their superhero show, The Boys. Back in July, In The Boys’ panel at Comic-Con@Home, the showrunner of the show Eric Kripke announced that Amazon had indeed renewed the show for a third season. He stated that “Amazon, in a bold and historic push to expand their ‘weirdo’ demographic, has green-lit Season 3 of The Boys.” In the same comic-con, the executive producer of the show Seth Rogen said that because the show has fans and people like it, Amazon has renewed it. What’s Coming Up Next?

The second season of The Boys is still streaming. The final episode of the season will release on October 8, 2020. So, we don’t have a clear idea of what could be coming next on the show. In an interview with GamesRadar, Rogen said that Erik has an idea of how the show would end that he likes. He is working towards it. But that is all he said about the show. Production Status!

The productions for Black Summer Season 2 started early in 2020. But then on March 18, 2020, production for the series was paused and then postponed for two weeks. However, those two weeks never ended. The on-going pandemic has paused everything for an unforeseen time. The pandemic first postponed the shoot to July 2020, and the reports later suggested that the filming would start on August 17, 2020. After that, another report revealed that the team will finally get back on the sets on September 3, 2020. Also, the team will start production in Calgary, Canada this September.

What’s Coming Next?

After the first season of the show concluded, the opinions on whether the producers should make a Black Summer Season 2 or not started making rounds. These were quite divided. The inaugural season ended with Rose and her daughter getting back together. This scene gave all viewers the good ending they were looking for. The only survivors from the first season were Sun, Spears, and Rose, who survived their journey to the stadium. Rose’s story had happily concluded after she got back with her daughter. Spears’ motivation to survive was to help Rose. In the meantime, Sun does not speak anything in English, which may only be because he is looking to be evacuated. The only character who could take the show forward is Vallez, but then Rose had the mercy to kill him.

One thing that was widely hinted in the first season was the tsunami. But clearly, we did not get to see it in the first season. So, when the show comes back for Black Summer Season 2, we might perhaps get to see a tidal wave on zombies coming in and taking over. Considering how bad these protagonists are at killing zombies, that will be a big game to play. It is possible that the show might take on mass starvation, paranoia, and panic that the first season gave and explore it in greater detail in the second season.

If things remain as planned and the team starts their production in September, we can expect the show to release sometime in 2021. Glow Season 4: Renewed! Creators Revealed Details About The Show

Netflix is bringing back the wrestlers once again in Glow Season 4. This means we indeed will get to see more outrageous 80s hairstyles, terrific stunt work, and many other things, including female-focused friendships. The third season of the show brought in some major shakeups for all the ladies on the show. The show took all the viewers to Las Vegas. The previous season was full of drama and comedy but also took on to various big issues like work-place inequality and racism. The finale episode of the third season changed the dynamic completely, and that change will be a big influencer for The Glow Season 4. What is coming in it? Here are all the details-

Glow Season 4: Is It Renewed?

Yes, Thankfully, Netflix has renewed the show for a fourth outing. The news about this renewal surfaced in 2019, and everyone- fans and the team rejoiced of the news. However, there is sad news that comes along with it. Glow Season 4 will be the last outing of the show. Creators of the show- Carly Mensch and Liz Flahive, are very happy about the renewal because of the way the third season ended on a cliffhanger. This can be seen as a silver lining in the dark clouds as this news will give the creators an opportunity to bind all the loose threads.

Reports revealed that Glow Season 4 was supposed to start production in February 2020 and had to complete by May 2020. In fact, Actress Alison Brie also shared a picture of the wrestling training ring back in February 2020. It looks like the show was only getting into action when COVID-19 happened and paused everything. As for now, we do not know the status of the product or when the show would release on Netflix for us to watch.

What’s Coming Next?

The show follows the personal and professional lives of a few women who call themselves GLOW- Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Glow takes us to the backdrop of the 1980s, Los Angeles. The third season of the show ended on kind of a cliffhanger where the GLOW gang was falling apart. Cameron had left the group, Sam was now going to make films with his daughter, and Ruth had rejected Debbie’s offer to be the director and instead decided to pursue acting.

When The Glow Season 4 come, it indeed will bring a very different environment. It is possible that all these girls might come back to Los Angeles and appear in Debbie’s new show. Both Debbie and Bash had bought a TV Network in the third season. It will be fun to see if these wrestlers choose to take on entirely new personas as Debbie brings a new Glow. Of course, we might even see to the personal struggles of all of these characters.

What Do The Creators Say?

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, creators of the show had said that they have a full story they would like to tell. They said that they have played every season of the show in a way that they kind of left everything and everyone on the field. The show has a big cast and a bigger heart along with a very big story to tell. She hopes that other people don’t put limits on that. They won’t be able to do so because that won’t be fair for them. The creator says that they would love a satisfying end to the story.

Given the current situation, it is kind of difficult to say when we would get Glow Season 4. The team has not yet announced when they would get back to shoot.
