After the way the third season of the show ended, all fans of Dear White people are on the edge of their seats and desperately waiting for Dear White People Season 4. Netflix has renewed the show for a fourth outing. However, this will be the last season of the series. Dear White People is a humourous, gripping, and controversial and also an intriguing show. 

For the fourth and the last installment of the show, Justin Simien will be the co-showrunner, executive producer, and writer. Yvette Lee Bowser will also act as the co-showrunner and executive producer of the show. All the cast members from the previous season are expected to come back. What’s The Theme For Upcoming Season?

The creator of the show, Justin Simien, recently spoke about what could be coming up in Dear White People Season 4. He says that the show will feature Virtue Signalling as one of the most significant parts of the season. “The Myth of meritocracy that sounds conceited, that is kind of put on social media to support some cause (Black Lives for instance) and then sort of just goes away, wipes up when we are done,” he stated. 

He went on to say that capitalism is still here and alive in our society. Issues like Racism and patriarchy still persists in all institutions. So, what will happen next when it declared that yes black lives matter? That is the question Dear White People Season 4 will ask. They had always planned to do that, but now, it seems like a more urgent question that they have to ask. The creator added that there is an aesthetic idea behind the season. He is very excited to see how the show plays out for the audience. The season will be different than any season viewers have seen before. 

Dear White People Season 4: Production Status

When corona literally paused everything and lockdown started, the Dear White People team was only a few months into writing the fourth season. They had written half-season, but they had just begun scripting, and there was a lot of stuff they had to work. But now, the production team has completed the scripting for the fourth installment. It, in fact, has now proven to be more relevant than ever, because of this post, George Floyd world. 

Right now, producers of the show are trying to figure out a way that they could use to get back to shooting safely. While the whole of Hollywood is trying to find different ways, Dear White People production is still looking if they would be able to get back to shoot this year. Given that the show hasn’t started production yet, we can expect to see Dear White People Season 4 either in the second half of 2021 or early 2022, maybe.

Will there be more of Dear White People?

Dear White People Season 4 will serve as the last season of the series. However, recent reports reveal that it is possible that the show would remain alive in spin-offs. In a recent interview, Justin Simien reveals that he loves the idea of a spin-off series of the show. He thinks that the format and the structure of the show is something younger and radical voices can also come up and talk about their stories. Simien says that if he had his way, the show would really live on as an institution where they could start conversations.

However, as an artist, he wants to move from his experience and let others tell their stories. He loves cinema and wants to work in different genres. If not Simien, it is also possible that someone else might step in his shoes and bring in a spin-off for the series. Later on, Ludovica gets involved with Fiore, a young man who is also a part of the prostitution and cares very much for Ludovica. His care comes to an extent where he becomes obsessed with her. Chiara gets into a relationship with Damiano. He is the new kid and son of a senator while she keeps her life a secret. Recently, Netflix has released some important information about Baby Season 3. Renewal & Release Date Status

Netflix released the second installment of the show in October 2019. Only a month after the premiere, the streaming giant renewed Baby Season 3. They took on to Instagram to announce this news.

Along with them, Claudia Pandolfi is also expected to be back as Monita Petrelli Younes. New Cast Members On Board 

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jodie Whittaker confirmed that she is coming back for Doctor Who Season 13. She stated that she is doing another season. It is a big exclusive that she isn’t supposed to talk about, but it would be unhelpful of her as if she says no, it would be a massive lie. She went on to say that she will have to pass onto the role at some point, but now is not the time for that. She is clinging onto it very tight. 

We know that Whittaker is coming back; however, we do not have any news if her three companions would be coming back or not. That includes- Graham, Ryan, and Yaz, played by Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, and Mandeep Gill, respectively. The trio has been with Whittaker on all her adventures until now. However, there are chances that one of them might leave the cast by the time the new series surfaces. 

New characters are joining the show for the thirteenth season as well. A recent update revealed that the show would bring their first-ever transgender character- Tania Bell. She will join the audio series that is Stranded along with Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor. Rebecca Root portrays the character. The description reveals that she will be the new alter-ego to Merdistas. She isn’t perfect, but she isn’t a mess either. Root says that she doesn’t think her gender identity would influence her role on the show. 

Doctor Who Season 13: Not Releasing Anytime Soon

The latest season, that is the twelfth season, left all viewers with many unanswered questions. Many questions were surrounding the main characters on the show. It looks like fans won’t get any of those answers soon. In an interview with the Royal Television Society, the director at BBC Wales confirmed that they wouldn’t be able to start filming anytime soon. While many other programs have started productions, Doctor who is a very hands-on production, hence, it won’t be possible for them to make the show like that. 

Talking about when they would get back to productions, Rhodri says that it all depends on social distancing. A production such as Doctor Who involves hundreds of people, freelancers and staff. It wouldn’t be possible for everyone to get on work in the kind of work conditions in society. So, they will be able to get back to productions only when the social distancing ends. 

Until now, the show is being filmed in Cardiff, which is just making things more difficult in terms of production. Rhodri says that the rules at Wales and England are very different, and production centers from both countries will have to respond to these rules accordingly. 

A Christmas Special Is On Way

We don’t know when we would get the Doctor Who Season 13. However, fans don’t have to get very worried—the Doctor Who is coming back to the screen this winter with a special. The producers have already completed the production of the special. It is titles- Revolution of the Daleks and was filmed simultaneously with the twelfth season. Discovery Channel’s show- Alaskan Bush People Season 12 is premiering this August. It will first release lost footage on August 22, and then on August 23, that is Sunday, the show will premiere. It will have eight episodes. Over the summer, all Browns have shot the show themselves using cameras and smartphones. The self-shot content is edited into footage that is all set. 

Billy To Got Back To The Mountains In Alaskan Bush Season 12

The previous season of the show left on quite a gloomy note. Billy Brown had come to know about his degrading health. Now it was up to him on what he wants to do next. Even after doctors have advised him not to go back to the mountains, it looks like he will. Billy says that he knows he is dying and wants to be in the mountains when that happens. He wants to be in the mountains with his family. 

For this, both Noah and Gabe brown have given up on their new home. They will get into a big house where Ami and Billy will have their section. Noah and Gabe live on either side of the house. So, that gives Billy a chance to have his grandchildren and the whole family in the mountains. 

Raiven Adams Will No Longer Be A Part Of The Show

Alaskan Bush People star Raiven Adams, Bear Brown’s ex-fiance, won’t be a part of the show anymore. Not just her, their son- River won’t appear in the show either. Bear and Raiven have been fighting continuously for River’s custody both in the court and outside. This summer, Raiven gave birth to the kid who has now turned four months old. A source recently revealed that all of them have filmed for the new show recently. However, River won’t be a part of the show. 

Raiven first came into the show in 2019 when she started dating Bear. However, she never wanted to be a part of the show. A source even said that they are not sure that the custody battle would be a part of the show. While reports revealed that both Bear and Raiven had agreed in June, but later on, that truce broke, and both of them took on their social media to call out each other. The two have constantly been fighting on various social media platforms. 

Raiven had accused Bear of taking drugs and being abusive to her. However, Bear says that he is clean and does not do drugs. The woman has even put it out there that she has never stopped Bear to visit River in public, but he doesn’t ever visit him. It doesn’t look like things will get better between the two anytime soon.

With that said, it is possible that fans might get to see Gabe and Billy Brown’s child in the upcoming season. On November 10, 2019, the two announced that they are indeed expecting their first child together. However, ever since then, they haven’t revealed any details about their child. Ronan Bennett, the creator and writer for Top Boy revealed that all fans could expect to see Sully’s vulnerable side. He saw his friend Jase die in an attack. He spent all of the third season grieving from the loss. In an interview, Bennett says that viewers will see more of Sully’s human side in the installment to come. On the aspect of Sully’s character development, fans will see him struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in the next season. 

Talking about this, Bennett says that he remembers being at his keyboard and thinking about the show. He was working through what happens after Sully has escaped and is alive while his friend is no more. Bennett put his hand on his face while typing and smelled charcoal on his fingers. He kept thinks about that and going with that idea that what if this smell was a sign for him. Dushane says that if one can smell it in your sleep, it isn’t real. To this, Bennett says that this thing might not be real for Dushane, but it is real for Sully. This has helped them get beyond the idea of someone who in the first and second season was quite quick-tempered and used his fists. They will take a step further in Top Boy Season 4. 

Will Top Boy Season 4 Be The Last?

As of this moment, no. Top Boy was initially supposed to be only a season-long on Netflix. However, now three seasons are out with fourth in works. Netflix has not yet spoken anything about if this series would be the last of the show or not. So, at the moment we can be optimistic and say that we will get more of the show. However, this also depends on how well the fourth season is received.

According to Netflix, Top Boy Season 4 is expected to get into production this spring. Top Boy was one of the most popular series on Netflix in 2019. Recently Ashley Walters, who portrays Dushane on the show, revealed that they had started working on the fourth season. The second season of the franchise saw Lenny, Moritz, and Dan deciding that they should put down the shutters to their drug site, MyDrugs. Owing to that, they break their partnership with him. 

In the finale episode of the season, Mortiz tries to warn his partners about the danger that was just on the way. However, Dan and Lenny dismissed that. They did not believe anything he said. Lenny then destroys their website and wipes all the data they had on it. Later, Moritz was arrested for all the crimes he had committed. 

‘How To Sell Drugs Online Fast’ Season 3 might feature Lenny and Dan to realize that Moritz wasn’t lying this time. The time when he warned them that someone is trying to murder them. They might work on a plan and help Moritz out of jail. With that, Dan and Lenny would also do everything they can to avoid their enemies. It is also possible that Moritz will get back into action. 

When Would It Release?

‘How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)’ season 2 released on July 21, 2020. The show had about six episodes. Talking about the third season, Netflix hasn’t renewed the show for the third season yet. In the meantime, a separate tragedy forces Marus and Mike to rely on AMMO task force that is now led by Rita, one of Mike’s long time colleague. Bad Boys 4 Is Officially Under Works

When Sony said Bad Boys for life, they seem to mean it. The latest reports reveal that Bad Boys 4 is now under production. Chris Bremner, who has worked in the previous movies of the franchise, has started working on the scripts for Bad Boys for Life. Lawrence and Smith will most probably come back for the sequel. This fourth movie will not have the time lag, as the previous movies had. The latest film released in 2020 received overall positive reviews, and even after producers put in the “One Last Time” line into the trailer, there is definitely room for the sequel.

Creator Chris Bremner On Bad Boys 4

In an interview, Chris Bremner says that he had a great experience working with Tom Rothman. They worked together for the first time. Throughout the development, editing, and filming process, they have had a great time. Bremner went on to say that the duo was able to bring in a satisfying movie, and the audience liked it too. Bremner says that he would love to do it all together, again. He thinks that Sony pictures would do it again too. They are working on Bad Boys 4 draft at the moment.  

Bremner’s schedule could also be one of the reasons for the delay in the upcoming movie. He is simultaneously working. Hence his schedule seems to be heating up. He is working on National Treasure 3 for Disney, along with working on Bad Boys 4 for Sony. National Treasure will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, who was also the producer behind Bad Boys for Life. 

What Could Happen In The Sequel?

By the end of Bad Boys for life, everybody came to know the truth that actually Armando Armas is Mike Lowrey’s son. Before Mike partnered with Marcus, he worked as an undercover agent placed in Mexico. During his time there, he got into a romantic relationship with who we know as the stone-cold killer, Isabel Aretas. 

As the installment reached its climax, Isabel dies, and Mike tells the truth to his son- Armando. Movie’s post-credit scene teases what could come next. It has teased a possible storyline for Bad Boys 4. As Mike tells his son about the truth he has been hiding all along, it looks like he will finally have an opportunity to replay all to the society. Bad Boys 4 might theoretically even involve Armando working with the AMMO task force. 

When Will It Release?

As per the previous release date schedule, we can’t say that Bad Boys 4 is releasing anytime soon. However, Sony Pictures has already started working on the movie. In fact, they started right after the third movie released. Now since they have started working, we can expect that we would get the movie sooner. 

Talking about the production schedule for Bad Boys For Life, we can still think that Bad Boys 4 will release sometime in either 2022 or 2023. If the movie gets delayed, it could be due to the busy schedules of the lead actors. Hopefully, they would want to come back for the fourth movie, too. 

How well Was Bad Boys For Life Received? 

Bad Boys For Life, which was released earlier this year, did great compared to all other movies from the franchise. Over the years, Bad boys have dropped three movies, including Bad Boys for Life. The first movie- Bad Boys released years ago in April 1995. It received mixed reviews. The film bagged 43% of rotten tomatoes—the next movie in line, Bad Boys II, released in July 2003. It was widely criticized and could only bag around 23% on Rotten Tomatoes. The latest movie from the franchise- Bad Boys for Life released this January and exceeded many expectations. The movie did immensely great in the box office. It was also critically acclaimed and bagged about 77% of Rotten Tomatoes.

Is The Show Renewed?

This is a piece of good news. Netflix has already renewed Another Life Season 2. On October 29, 2019, the news surfaced just when the first season had completed three months of airing. Although the first season of the show could not bag great reviews. It bagged only 7% Rotten Tomatoes, and the audience hasn’t like the show much either. Even after that, Netflix has greenlit the show. Maybe the viewers might start liking the show after seeing more of the story in Another Life Season 2. 

What Has Happened Until Now? 

The inaugural season of Another Life started finding details about the Artifact and its origin. They also tried to find out whether the aliens who sent it are friendly or not. As the season ends, fans get to know that the alien race is known as Achaia. This race is definitely not at all friendly. One of the AI on the planet- Zakir, revealed that Achaia’s main goal was to destroy everything. When Achia first came on the planet, they made their motive clear as they blew up Zakir. Niko and Salvare had tried to liberate it from its Artifact. That confirmed that it wouldn’t be an easy task for to save Earth from this race. 

Another Life Season 2: What’s Coming Up Next?

It looks like Achaia’s intentions are more complex than they look. They might have more things to do that simply destroying the Earth. However, the first season also sees Harper Glass, the journalist who is in control of Achaia. He is the one who announces to people that these aliens are peaceful and want to be friends with residents on Earth. It is also possible that Achaia might wish to rule all the humans and use this planet for all the resources. Unfortunately, Erik could not get the message about the hatred Achaia’s have. He was last seen when she was walking into the Artifact with Jana. He even believes that the aliens will save her life. 

Another Life Season 2 might feature Erik getting into Achaia’s control, just like Harper Glass. This might set up a fight where Erik becomes the antagonist, and Niko has to fight her own husband. Achaias are well aware that Niko is a threat to them. So, this would make sense that they would use Erik to stop her. Along with that, we might also get to see Salvare coming back to Earth safely. This whole journey wouldn’t be easy in any sense. 

In October last year, HBO announced the prequel series of Game of Thrones- House of the Dragon. The producers haven’t yet revealed many details about it. All we know so far is that they have ordered ten episodes for the debut run. The series will be inspired by the book- “Fire and Blood.” The show will start with Aegon Targaryen’s conquest. This was something that “Game of Thrones” did not feature. 

Aegon Targaryen’s conquest featured the war in which Aegon I, along with his wives Visenya and Rhaenys. He came to Westeros and brought six of the seven kingdoms under his rule in the reign. The whole Targaryen history features a number of dragons. In fact, it is one of the essential things in the series. Aegon’s dragon was called Balerion. It was the biggest dragon seen in Westeros. His sisters, too, had their own dragons. With that said, new reports hint something about casting. Here are all the details about it- 

Casting For House of The Dragon Has Begun

Many fans had been speculating about the casting for the upcoming prequel series. These fans also include Redanian Intelligence and The Wertzone. After these speculations, one report confirms that it is indeed true. The casting for the prequel is underway. However, HBO has not yet revealed any further details about it. 

Since the prequel will follow the Targaryen story, we can expect a few main characters from the story to get on screen. However, that isn’t confirmed yet. For a basic idea, here are the characters we think could make on-screen. First is King Viserys I. He is the beloved fifth king in the Targaryen reign. He was one of the most peaceful and prosperous until he died. Another one is Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. She was King Visery’s chosen heir. The princess was also a dragon rider who wanted to be the first ruling Queen of Westeros. Next in the list is Queen Alicent Hightower, who was Visery’s second wife and Princess Rhenyra’s stepmother. She had three children with the king. The name in our list is Aegon II Targaryen, who was the half brother who challenged Rhaenyra to get the throne.

Just because these characters play a considerable part in the novel does not mean they will make to the screens, but who knows? Anything is possible since the creators haven’t yet revealed anything. 

House Of Dragons: All Details We Know 

HBO hasn’t yet officially revealed what Targaryen’s storyline they would use for the prequel. The original press release from “House of the Dragon” revealed that the show would be based on George R.R. Martin’s book- ‘Fire & Blood.’ The series is set 300 years before what happens in Game of Thrones. Miguel Sapochnik is coming in to direct the show, the pilot, and all the additional episodes. Sapochnik and Condal will be the showrunners for the series. Condal is also writing the scripts for the show. 

Miguel Sapochnik had risen to prominence after he directed the first two episodes of the original series- “Game of Thrones.” These episodes were “The Gift” and “Hardhome.” These episodes premiered in 2015. Then Sapochnik came back to make another stunner in the sixth season. These episodes included “Battle of the Bastards” and “The Winds of Winter.” After that, he also directed the most action-packed episodes- “The Long Night” and “The Bells.” 

Release Schedule 

We don’t know when the show would release. Last year, in an interview, the HBO programming president said that they are placing all their efforts towards a 2022 release date. However, many things have changed since then. Coronavirus has hit us, productions have been paused. So, fans might have to wait much longer before the series releases.
