The first season of the fantasy drama, Carnival Row, is out now. The show was a massive hit after the success. And fans are looking forward to Carnival Row Season 2. The second season had received renewal even before the first season released. The show was renewed in July 2019. However, many things have changed since then. Crew Change For Carnival Row Season 2

While we expect Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne to come back as the main lead for Carnival Season 2, we also can expect Tamzin Merchant and David Gyasi to join the cast. The two portray Imogen and Argus on the show. The way the first season ended, fans might get to see Arty Froushan and Caroline playing a much more significant part in the second outing. With that said, as the story expands in the second season, new faces could come on board. However, there isn’t any official update about it as of now. 

Things look fine on screen; however, it doesn’t look like that behind it. Travis Beacham, the showrunner, has walked out. The news surfaced in October 2019 when he took to social media to tell all the fans that he is leaving the show due to creative differences. Since Beacham is also the scriptwriter of the show, things might change now. It is even possible that producers may have to work on a new script. Along with him, Marc Guggenheim has also stepped back from being the showrunner. Erik Oleson and Rene Echevarria have come on board as the new showrunner for the show. 

Carnival Row Season 2: All New Updates

Carnival Row Season 2 has now started productions. The cast seems to be very excited to come back to the show. The production house has shared an announcement video where viewers can see the cast getting all excited to return. In fact, the cast has also teased new characters for Carnival Row Season 2. Along with that, everything that the cast has said conveys that the second season will start exactly where the first season concluded. There were very significant things that happened. Things had changed for all main characters as the after-effects of The Burgue’s crackdown.

Carnival Row Season 2 was renewed in July 2019. Later in November 2019, as seen in the announcement video, the cast and crew had started production. Everybody was expecting a 2020 release. However, then the crew shakeups happened and paused that. After that, the global pandemic has hit us, only delaying the production. Alita: Battle Angel first released in 2019. The film bagged mixed reviews but was a big box-office hit. Also, Alita: Battle Angel 2 hasn’t been renewed yet. However, it looks like it is on the cards. Is Alita: Battle Angel 2 Possible?

The producer of the film, James Cameron, revealed that they obviously have plans for a second season. However, they don’t want to be too overconfident about it. They don’t want to make it something that could be mock-able. Whether or not it depends on how the movie does. While the first movie could not do great in the U.S., it was welcomed globally. The movie budget was $170 million, while it grossed about $404 million globally. That does look like a great figure. This only increases the chances of Alita: Battle Angel 2. 

What Could Happen In The Next Movie?

The first movie of the Alita franchise was intended to be a complete story. In the first movie, Alita loses Hugo, her lover, but then she comes to understand herself. She tries to make her own place and becomes a Motoball champion. Alita even tries to go back to the city of Zalem.

Rodriguez and Cameron have spoken about the movie in various interviews. All their statements reveal that they think that the first movie was a complete arc. In an interview, the duo says that Alita knows who she is now, and she now has a target. They went on to say that the story is a complete with a beginning. They even revealed that even the Manga hadn’t solved many mysteries around Alita’s life. 

If and when Alita: Battle Angel 2 comes, the movie will most probably explore what happens to Alita. What happens between ‘The Fall’ and after she lands in the Iron City junk. Another question is, How did Zalem survive? What does the iron city look like? What does Nova want? There is plenty of material that the creators can follow for the sequel. 

Could Alita Battle Angel 2 Move To Another Studio?

Alita: Battle Angel released in 2019, but things haven’t been the same ever since. When the first movie released, it was a 20th Century Fox production. But now, Disney has bought Fox and all the assets. That also means that Alita: Battle Angel 2 is now a Disney production. Owing to these changes, reports hint that the show would be moving to another studio. 

Earlier, Emma Watts and Jim Gianopulos were the executive producers of the show. The duo has worked very hard to bring the movie in the light. After Disney merged with Fox, both Gianopulos and Watts moved to Paramount Pictures. So, without their support, it is possible that the franchise would end. With this said, it is also possible that the movie would not make it to the screens anytime soon. Some reports even suggest that the franchise would find its home in some other studio. Paramount looks like a great option with Gianopulos and Watts both onboard there.

Transformers 7: Release Date Out!

About two years ago, back in February 2018, everybody had started speculating that Transformers 7 is on the cards, because fans had considered Bumblebee, the spin-off movie the sixth part of the series. Later on, in 2019, we came to know that the new movie was removed from the release schedule of 2019. Then on June 28, 2019, producers confirmed that Transformers movie had been replaced by the movie Limited Partners. And, now, after all this time, it looks like they are coming back on screen. New reports suggest that the movie will make to the big screens in the summer of 2022. 

Paramount Pictures has recently hinted about a new release date schedule for Transformers movie, the mysterious Transformers 7. The movie is said to be under development right now. The question with this comeback hint is, what will we see in the movie when the franchise comes back? The latest reports for the movie reveals that Transformers 7 will release sometime in June 2022. For now, that really is all we know about the release schedule. We can look forward to Paramount productions confirming details soon. 

Production Status

The latest movie from the series, Transformers: The Last Knight released in 2017. The film did not do well on critics’ meter globally. Not just that, the movie could not even do well at the box-office. It was weak as compared to all other movies from the series. In May 2018, the news came out that Paramount had taken Transformers 7 out of their schedule. Then later in December the same year, Di Bonaventura confirmed that more Transformer movies are on the cards. They will be making changes in the tone and style of the movie to make these movies a success on all radars.

This year in January 2020, the producers announced they were making a follow up of the movie Bumblebee and an adaption of Transformers: Beast Wars. Both the movies had entered the pre-production phase. Writers Joby Harold and James Vanderbilt were writing these movies separately. Then by April of 2020, Josh Cooley came on board to be the director of the animation through Hasbro’s Entertainment One with Paramount Animation. Barrer and Ferrari are working on a new draft of the movie with Cooley.

As far as we know, Transformer 7 will take place on the Cybertron. The movie will also explore Megatron and Optimus Prime’s relationship. This time they will be separate and apart. It will be very different from how fans have seen them in the other live-action films. We can expect Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian to be the producers of the movie. However, Netflix does drop short teasers about the new series, so fans will get to see what is coming up on the show once Netflix renews the show. 

The trailer of the first season sees Sofia walking through her school- El Colegio Nacional. She introduces the main characters. The students in the show seem to be watching a presentation when their screen starts showing some private images of Isabela, who is a student there like them. Sofia and Javier take responsibility for finding out who is doing all that and making everybody’s life miserable.

Control Z Season 2: What’s Coming Up Next?

The inaugural season of Control Z concluded with giving all the answers everybody wanted from the first season. The show revealed who the school hacker was. The first season concluded with all students coming to know that Raul was behind the whole situation. He is one of the richest students from the school and the mastermind behind All Your Secrets scam. 

One of the things that fans still want to know is what happens to Raul now that his truth has been caught. Everybody wants to know what happens to the victims of the scam. These victims include- Javier, who was shot. We can expect Control Z Season 2 to explore Raul’s motives and what made him what he became. He went on to say that he is undeniably attracted to Javier, and the last seen hurt him a lot. He would do anything for Isabela and Javier. It is funny and over the top. He loved it. Talking about the series ending with the third season, actress Sarah Parish who plays Lorenzo’s mother- Lucrezia Tornabuoni, says that writing these big epic series is a tricky business. There is a lot that they have to fit in very little time. She went on to say that the biggest challenge as a writer is not to be expositional while writing. Parish thinks that Frank Spotnitz did a great work doing that. He doesn’t let go of the emotion of the piece. She says that they have achieved a great ending to the story. 

Parish says that the show’s success was because the audience loved the drama that focused on a warring family. Daniel Sharman also explained that he loves that the show has had everything. He has read a lot of stuff on Medici and the family, and he couldn’t believe that everything was true.

Everything that was shown on the show actually happened to them. Their lives have violence, sex, art, and all other things that make it very easy to get lost in the world. It is the same thing that has been shown on the show. People have deliberately immersed them into this world. Sharman went on to say that he finds it incredible that the show is shot in the places where these events really happened. The show is beautifully immersive.

Actor Harries Discusses Details For White Lines Season 2 

Tom Rhy Harries, who plays DJ Axel Collins in White Lines has discussed about the second season of the show. He says that they are having a break for the second season. The first season of White Lines concluded with revealing Marus and Anna as Axel’s killer. In the first season Axel had realized that his DJ life wasn’t really him. So, he decides to start all over again. Alex talks about it to Anna after he had taken some cocaine. The drug begins reacting and then causes an overdose. At the same moment, Anna sees it as an opportunity to take her frustrations out. She plunges Axel’s head under the water in the pool and refuses to let him out. 

Soon after these events, Marcus comes into the picture. Both Marcus and Anna then take Axel’s body into the forests. While they do so, Axel wasn’t yet dead. So, he manages to escape from the van. However, Anna successfully kills him using a screwdriver. All this mystery unveils when Zoe puts all the pieces of the puzzle together. 

When Will White Lines Season 2 Release? 

This is a very tricky question. The show hasn’t been renewed yet. However, we are hopeful that Netflix would renew the show soon. Assuming that the world will go back to normal sooner, we are putting our hopes on a 2021 release date. The first season started filming in June 2019, but it doesn’t look like White Lines season 2 would be able to start filming before at least September this year. In the quest, they also find the Heavenly scrolls that the Moneky had stolen 500 years ago and hidden somewhere in the earth. Whoever finds the scrolls would get unlimited power. Only when the group was about to start their quest, a demon attacks the scholar’s home and kills everyone. However, his daughter remains alive. She takes on the quest. 

As the quest moves forward, she moves out of the city with a magic crown. After that, she finds a stony visage with Monkey King’s face. So, she puts the magical crown on his head, which sets the Monkey King free. Both of them come back to the town and join Pigsy and Sandy, who also are gods. What’s The Show About?

While this weekend getaway was just supposed to be a break, it turns into a wild night of passion. Alma meets a 23-year-old Dario Guerra. She comes back to her home while trying to forget everything that happened. But then Dario comes in her class, which starts a chain of events leading to a murder. Detective Esteban is quite determined to find the killer, and he is suspicious of Dario. The first season ended with a blast. The detective solves the whole who-did-it-mystery, but then it starts an additional chain of events that will be the basis of Dark Desire Season 2. 

Who’s In The Cast?

For the first season, viewers got to see Maite Perroni as Alma, the protagonist for the show. Jorge Poza plays the role of Alma’s husband- Leonardo. Along with the two, Alejandro Speitzer comes in to play Dario’s role, Alma’s lover. Another in the cast list is Regina Pavon, who plays Zoe, Alma, and Leonardo’s daughter. The last one on the list is Erik Hayser, who plays Esteban, the private investigator. We can expect all these faces to reprise their roles for Dark Desire Season 2. Along with them, some new faces will also join in the second season.

When Would Dark Desire Season 2 Release?

The first season of the show released this July on Netflix. The show had 18 episodes with a runtime of about 30 minutes each. The way the first season ended concluded the main storyline for the show. However, with so many more additional storylines hinted in the finale, we expect more of the show. Netflix usually takes a few weeks to analyze the viewership. If the viewership figures turn out to be good, it is possible that Dark Desire Season 2 would come.

Netflix is trying to bring shows depicting around the globe to the platform, so the streaming giant may bring it back. If everything goes on well, we can look forward to a 2021 release date for Dark Desire Season 2. With that said, we will update this space with all the new information as we get it.
