Actress Harriet Webb (Theo) has spoken on the future of the show. In an interview with Metro, Webb says that she did not have conversations with Michaela about a second season. She went on to say that she sees the show as a piece of work. The actress added that the show is an interesting one because it isn’t a classic set-up. The most interesting part about the show is that people love the show and the characters. So, that is a great reason to bring back more. Webb says that she would be surprised if season 2 comes, but anything is possible there. 

Future After The Season Finale

In another interview with The Hollywood Reporter after I May Destroy You completed the season, Coel spoke about all the questions everyone had about her plans for a second series. She said that she doesn’t want to give any information away. She also stated that she thinks fans will understand after they see the final episode. 

The finale episode of the series saw many versions of the revenge plot. It plays out in a Groundhog-day kind of sequence. It is possible that the series could come back for a second installment and confirm if the whole sequence really happened or not. The first season has received massive acclamation globally. A few weeks ago, In May 2020, Rooster Teeth hosted a special cast table read. It was for the first episode of Season 2. This special cast table was to raise money for charity- GiveDirectly and reunited the whole cast. Even after the table read, none of the members of the cast seem to offer a hint about their plans to move ahead with the show. One of the many reasons for that could be that much time has now passed since the first season.

Now, it’s either past that will win or future. If this announcement sounds so cryptical, its because there won’t be any The Protector Season 5, as confirmed by a number of news outlets. About The Show

The fantasy series- The Protector revolves around a young shopkeeper- Hakan, whose world changes when he comes to know that he is connected to a secret, ancient order. He is the one who will have to protect Istanbul. Initially, in the story, Hakan looks like an ordinary guy in the city with a population of about 15 million. Eventually, he learns that his hometown is under danger from some mystical Immortals, and he has to stop them all. It’s a task he isn’t prepared for and even tries to resist. 

How Was The Fourth Season?

Netflix has released the fourth season of The Protector. Since it is the last season, we quite feel that it is important to give homage to all other seasons of the show. When we first met Hakan, he was just a shopkeeper and a part-time con artist. Eventually, things change in his life after his father dies. After that, Hakan meets Loyal Ones, Kemal, and Zeynep. These Loyal Ones are associated with a historical secret order which is responsible for shielding their town from the immortals. Hakan is himself a Protector who can kill the Immortals and stop destruction using the talismanic shirt that gives him mystic powers. The main Immortal is Faysal Erdem, who wanted to bring back his now lifeless lover Ruya using Hakan’s blood. 

In the last season, there were many clues from start to finish. The uncommon fantasy exhibits came to a smart ending that completed the series. Over the seasons, all viewers have witnessed Hakam and Zeynep’s closeness. At first, it was all very complicated when Zeynep had to take the Immortal “treatment,” which proved that she was still loyal to Immortals. She had killed Burak, with who she had an affair earlier. Zeynep’s murder spree went for long, and she became the hero. In the fourth season, we saw Hakan and Zeynep handling everything nicely by the end. Zeynep became the professor, and Hakan went back to work. 

The fourth season featured the dual stories with many past and present scenes from the Ottoman Empire from 1459 to the current day. The story was great and felt oriented. The fourth season did justice to all the villains by making them look like misplaced souls and not senseless villains. Fans seem to be quite happy with the show. Keeping in mind the kind of reviews and viewership The Protector was able to bag, we can expect that Netflix will bring more Turkish shows in the upcoming future. 

Netflix announced The Rain Season 3 renewal about a year ago. While announcing that, they also revealed that the season would be the last in the series. Netflix renewed the show using the official Facebook account of the show. The streaming giant also revealed that they would release The Rain Season 3 in 2020. The show follows two Danish siblings- Simone and Rasmus. They go and find shelter in a bunker. Problems arise when a virus in rainfall wipes humans in Scandinavia. After six years, both Simone and Rasmus leave the shelter to find other survivors and search for a safe place to live. 

The second season of the show ended quite dramatically as Rasmus is captured by Apollon, the company behind the whole rain apocalypse. Many cliffhangers need to be addressed in the upcoming The Rain Season 3. Here is what we know about everything that could be coming up. 

Show Creator Jannik Tai Mosholt Speaks About The Upcoming Installment- 

In an interview with NME, showrunners Christian Potalivo and Jannik Tai Mosholt revealed that the show has many real-life references, and fears around climate change influence the way the show is created. Mosholt said that they feel that the news gets worse every day, and they are getting closer to when something like that would happen to them. 

He even revealed that they had a journalist from Cape Town who told him that there is no water there now. They live in Denmark, where it seems to rain more and more. They don’t have the snow they used to have before. He went on to say that now they are witnessing the effects of climate change that have started happening. 

The Rain Season 3: What’s Coming Next?

The third season will serve as the finale season of The Rain. So, fans can expect to see all the fears play out to extreme measures. In the second season of the show, Rasmus was captured, so the third season of the show would focus on how his allies would rescue him and what Apollon really wants with him. Sten explained that they never considered curing Rasmus. They were planning to make the virus make of them. In the second season, Simone also tried to kill her brother; it will be a very awkward conversation when they come face to face. Sarah has also caught the same infection, and that’s something the third season will address. 

Not just that, Kira also worked undercover at Apollon in the second season. There are many questions about her and what her role will be in the next season. The Fallout Gun and all other electromagnetic items that Patrick fell upon are under a big question. What was the group trying to use it for? Not just this, the third season would also address many other cliffhangers, but it will also bring all loose ends from the entire to close. Will the virus destroy everything, or will someone stop it?

Co-Creator Potalivo Reveals They Have Answers

After the first season aired, co-creator Christian Potalivo said that they have all answers for the show, but they haven’t just given them yet. There are many great explanations on how and why the virus was used the way it was. The story had started in the first season. Executive Producer Speaks About The Future Of The Show

Technically, the show was created to be a miniseries, but it could come back and tell many other international stories. In an interview with Deadline, the co-executive producer of Stateless said that the show was definitely meant to be a single series. However, the migration issues had deepened and become more complicated and political since 2013 when they started working on the show. However, she does feel that the series concluded quite open-endedly. Cate Blanchett added that something that is more important to them is that the stories start conversations. They haven’t yet thought if they will be working on Stateless Season 2 or not. This statement does not confirm if they will make it or not. However, we can still be hopeful. 

What Could Happen In Stateless Season 2? 

Immigration is an issue that has been raising increasing urgent attention. So, it seems possible that Blanchett and her team would try and tell stories other than that of Rau. They could include the much famous Alejandra Barrera, who faced mistreatment because of being a transgender woman in the U.S. ICE detention center. They could even choose to stick to many other international issues. 

In an interview with Variety, Tony Ayres, the co-creator of the show, says that he feels that the show is about the contradictions of trying to preserve their borders and the difficulty of trying to curate perfect humane policy. He thinks that immigration is a global issue, and every country is trying to find a way to deal with that. He added that at the moment, they are looking at the Australian setting, but they want it to be a starting point for the broader conversation in the most humane way possible. 

The show surfaced only a few days ago. As of now, we are assuming that Netflix is still analyzing the viewership figures of Stateless. The Supernatural show- Wynonna Earp Season 4 is coming. Created and developed by Emily Andra, the show is based on a comic book series by Beau Smith. Melanie Scrofano plays the lead character of the show. She is the great-great-granddaughter of lawman Wyatt Earp. The series follows Earp coming back to their hometown of Purgatory near the Canadian Rockies. At the place, she battles revenants, the reincarnated badmen that the elder Wyatt killed. 

Syfy acquired the show’s rights in 2015 and ordered 13 episodes of the show. The first season aired in April 2016 on Syfy and later in Canada on April 4, 2016. The series has already completed three seasons and began filming Wynonna Earp season 4 in 2020. However, the show could not complete productions due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the producers have finally released details about when the show is coming. Here are all the details-  

Wynonna Earp Season 4: Release Date Out!

Recently, Syfy announced that the much-awaited Wynonna Earp Season 4 is releasing soon. The show will premiere on July 26. But there is a small change in the show’s release schedule. Because of the ongoing pandemic, Sfyf couldn’t get the whole show complete. So, they will be releasing the first six episodes of the show this July. The mid-season finale would release on August 30. No word on when the second half of the series would release is out at the moment. However, we can expect that the show would resume productions sometime later this summer.

Syfy has dropped the trailer for the Wynonna Earp Season 4. The trailer opens up with featuring Wynonna Earp, played by Melanie Scrofano. The introducing shot of the trailer starts with her doubting her ability to save all the people she loves. All these people, including her vampire baby daddy, celestial sister, my Haught cop. She thinks without the gun and these people; she is nothing.

What Could Happen Next?

By the end of the third season of the show, all the viewers saw how Waverly was forced to stay back in the Garden of Eden. She is the prisoner who will have the portal closed. In the meantime, Doc volunteers to stay with her and repay for all the bad things he has done throughout the season. 

The trailer for the Wynonna Earp Season 4 reveals that Waverly and Doc will get out of the garden at some point and then jump back to protect their hometown of Purgatory from all the threats in no time at all. It looks like Wynonna will also get the whole team together in the fourth season of the show. She will even work on her strained relationship with Haught.

The final sequence of the second season where Ramy sits in a vehicle with a dog while listening to the “How to Be a Muslim” hints that the upcoming installment will be more about Ramy trying to lead a clean lifestyle and being more respectful to everyone around him.
