With the next installment incoming, Better Call Saul is managing to be the headlines. Recently, showrunner Peter Gould revealed that they don’t need Jesse Pinkman and Walter White’s cameo in Better Call Saul Season 6. Although many assumed to watch the duo’s cameo since Better Call Saul debuted in 2015. However, its possibilities decreased with the passing season, as the series centered on different themes that are far away from its sequel Breaking Bad. Lately, the showrunner said he was looking to bring the duo back in the sixth and the final season. But, now, he has some other plans to showcase in the finale season.

Better Call Saul, created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, is a crime drama series on AMC. It’s a spin-off and prequel of Vince’s Breaking Bad. The series set in Albuquerque Nex Mexico in the early and mid-2000s. It follows Jimmy McGill’s (Bob Odenkirk) story, who turned into a lawyer. The series begins six-year before the Breaking Bad’s event happened. The show portrays Jimmy’s transformation into the criminal personality, Saul Goodman. He became the lawyer for Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a former police officer whose experience allows Jimmy to enter the criminal underworld of drug trafficking.

Jesse Pinkman And Walter White Are Not Returning For Better Call Saul Season 6

Showrunner Peter Gould explained why they don’t need to reunite Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad. In an interview, Peter was asked about the rumored reappearance of Bryan Cranston (Walter White) and Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) in the finale season. He said he doesn’t feel that it’s necessary to reunite both the series at this stage. Though the two camoed in El Camino, it’s not required to put the two characters in the sixth season. Peter said: “I like to think that we don’t have as much of a requirement to have Jesse and Walter back in Better Call Saul because they’re such a great appearance in El Camino.”

A Slight Possibility The Duo Would Return

Though Better Call Saul Season 6 scripting is completed, there’s no way for the duo to return. But Peter said he’s willing to work with them. He’s hoping for an episode filmed under Bryan’s direction. He said: “I would love to have them back. I had love to have Bryan Cranston direct an episode. In the past, I got to write an episode (of Breaking Bad) that he directed. I was on set with him every day, and it was an amazing experience. Bryan’s a magnificent director. He’s one of the few directors who has a facility for the lightest comedy and the darkest drama. He’s remarkable.”

He added: “Aaron Paul is possibly the happiest human being I’ve ever met, and he makes everybody around him happy. Indeed, I would love to have them back.” So, it could be possible that the duo would appear only for a short time in an episode. However, anything could happen, until then, let’s wait for further announcements.

Riverdale set to return with another exciting season on The CW. However, Riverdale Season 5 has been delayed from its original release schedule. There’s no surprise that this delay is due to the ongoing pandemic. That also made the showrunner to shorten the fourth season. Fortunately, the fifth season would explain the entire cliffhanger ending of the last season. But, the audience has to wait till fall 2021, and Netflix viewers have to wait till late summer.

Riverdale Season 5: Release Date

Riverdale usually airs in October on The CW. But, it has been delayed due to the current health crisis. Unfortunately, they couldn’t finish their filming of the fourth season and had to shorten the series since they had no other choice left. Thus, season 5 is yet to film. As per ProductionWeekly, Riverdale Season 5 filming would begin in August 2020 in Vancouver, Canada. Due to which the series pushed back to The CW January 2021 lineup.

When It Will Release On Netflix?

As you all know, Netflix releases the series episodes soon after it aired on The CW in the US. Since it would premiere in January 2021, so we can expect Riverdale Season 5 would stream in August or September 2021 on Netflix. The series follows the Second American Civil War, due to which the fertility rates decreased due to sexually transmitted diseases and environmental pollution. The Gilead government-enforced law, the new society and hierarchy established. The women who can conceive named Handmaids, appointed to the ruling elite groups, in which they have to submit to ritualized rape by their master and bear their children. Last year, the announcement came that the second season gained twice the viewership compare to its first season. The growing popularity of the series made the network to renew The Handmaid’s Tale for the fourth season. This news came soon after the third season’s finale aired in the US. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4: Trailer Released

Recently, the network released the trailer for the fourth season. It seems that season 4 will follow more bloodshed, rebellion behavior, and fight for the rights. In which June continues her revolution against the autocratic regime of Gilead’s government. In the third season finale, she helped her fellow handmaids escape from the Gilead on a plane to Canada and succeeded.

However, while escaping, she got a gunshot that left the unhealed wound to suffer more. The action-packed trailer portrays that June and her fellow Handmaids continue their revolution against Gilead’s brutal society despite a gunshot wound. In the trailer, June utters, “I can’t rest, change never comes easy. This war isn’t going to win itself.” That speaks a lot.

Hulu’s chief executive Randy Freer was positive for the series’ fourth season before it was officially confirmed. As per Freer, creative storytelling can organically progress, maybe into ten more chapters. Freer said: “The creative process will determine, is it the fourth season or continues to fifth seasons. And I believe that’s one of the advantages for creators in the streaming world. Shows can take a natural progression, live for as long as they should live, or end. I hope as success goes, there are ten seasons of The Handmaid’s Tale.”

Recently, Deadline organized Contenders Television virtual event, where many popular series participated. In that, Rami reserved a slot for its season 2. During the panel discussion, Ramy explained Ali’s entry into the series. He said: “We were writing in the writer’s room for about a month. And then someone at Hulu called me and said, Hey Mahershala Ali loves your show and wants to talk with you on your phone”. That is how the two-time Oscar winner joined the series as a mentoring character Sheikh.

Ramy added that the thing they wanted to do with this character that they ended up calling Sheikh Ali. It is just showing someone who feels like a real leader of a mosque. His complications aren’t mimic. It’s just the complications someone would have in trying to run a place like that.

Earlier, they were thinking of creating some loose ends which would resolve in season 3. However, Ramy discovered that adding Sheikh’s character now is better. May Calamawy, who played Dena Hassan’s character in Ramy, explained why the show’s avoiding exploring Muslim female sexuality. She said: “I remember the first season had a lot to do with sexual shame. In which, Dena getting operation over her body. Since she wants to feel accepted and beautiful. I’ve experienced that growing up. So it was cleansing for me and fun to do. But I remember telling Ramy that I don’t want this show to be about Dena having sex and discovering sex.”

May continued that she didn’t want the second season to be about a man. She wanted to portray how there are different areas of life like they can get an agency for women. It’s not just through men and the body, but work and how they put themself out there and taking space.

Euphoria, created by Sam Levinson, is a youth drama series of HBO. The series is based on Israeli show of the same name. It focused a group of high school students and their struggle. Throughout their high school journey, the group experienced many issues related to sex, drugs, love, and friendship. The series mainly focused on Rue Bennett (Zendaya), who’s diagnosed with OCD, ADD, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Now, struggling to find a place for her in the world. During her struggle, she met with Jules, an exciting, eclectic new girl in the town. However, in the end, they both get separated that left Rue all teary and in depression.

Zendaya as Rue, gained immense love from the audience and critics. Recently, in an interview, Zendaya expressed her excitement to return to play her character in Euphoria Season 2. She said: “We were supposed to return to work. I think, on March 16. And, three or four days before that, the production halted. I was like, ‘I was so close.’ We did camera tests and hair and makeup tests, and we got to see everybody, and we had the sets built.”

She added: “I mean the scripts were written and I was just so excited. To go back home is indeed what it feels like.” She explained how lucky she was that she’s safe. She continued: “But of course, this has all happened, and I’m just grateful that I’m in the position I’m in. I can’t complain. I’m fortunate to be safe and healthy and still know that I have a job, ‘Euphoria,’ that will be there.”

The star, told herself in an interview, that it was her childhood dream to work off-screen and manage everything. Zendaya said that she wanted the entitled of a producer when she was younger because she wished to learn what it felt like to do all those stuff behind the scenes. Fear The Walking Dead, created by Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman is a post-prophetic horror drama series on AMC. It’s a prequel and companion series to The Walking Dead. Yesterday, AMC announced that it’s joining San Diego virtual Comic-Con event. They all are ready to participate in the grand SDCC’s first virtual event.

Fear The Walking Dead will represent a panel for its upcoming sixth season that would premiere later this year. The panel will be moderated by Hardwick featuring Gimple, along with the executive producers and showrunners Ian Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss. The panel will also have cast members, including Alycia Debnam-Carey, Lennie James, and Colman Domingo. And also with Ruben Blades, Danay Garcia, Jenna Elfman, and Karen David will be there.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 6: Lennie Discussed Details

Lennie James, who played Morgan’s character, told Digital Spy that there’s no official date scheduled to start filming. James said: “We have no official restart time. But everything is still moving. If we will return. AMC, the network in charge of the show, is in discussion with experts. To find the safest and the best way. And the most practical way. For not just restarting, but restarting safely. And finding a way to remain safe.”

James said that it’s impossible to maintain social distancing (well, you know the series theme). He added: “The specifics of our show mean that we have a slightly different concept. Greenleaf, created by Craig Wright, is a drama series of Orphan Winfrey Network (OWN). The show is executive produced by Lionsgate Television and Orphan Winfrey. The series follows the Greenleaf family’s dishonest world, along with their lies and scandalous secrets and their elegant family mansion compound and huge Memphis megachurch. The series mainly have African-American members. The main characters are Bishop James Greenleaf (Keith David) and Lady Mae Greenleaf (Lynn Whitfield). James and Lady Mae are the founder and matron of the Greenleaf family. Grace Greenleaf (Merle Dandridge), their estranged daughter, returns home after 20 years, after the strange death of her sister, Faith.

Beat The Cable Network Ranking

Recently, the announcement came that Greenleaf Season 4 beat the entire cable network ranking. The show announced as the number one original scripted series for African-American women and as number four on the cable network for all women (25-54 of age group), leading on OWN. Further, Greenleaf won the 2020 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Drama Series, and star Whitfield named as Outstanding Supporting Actress in the drama series for the second time in a row.

Greenleaf Season 5: Cast Details

Merle Dandridge (Grace Greenleaf) previously tweeted that she returned to Greenleaf Season 5. The tweet reads: “I’ll continue Grace’s prayer of gratitude with my own. And I’m so thankful to everyone. New Joinings This Season!

Deborah Joy Winan, LeToya Luckett, Kim Hawthorne, Lamman Rucker, and Orphan Winfrey will join the show. When the series debuted in 2016, Winfrey revealed her connection with the show. She said: “The scene where Kerissa is attacking Grace at the table. And asking, are you spiritual or religious? I had that (scene in my life).”

Greenleaf Season 5: What Will Happen?

In the previous season, the entire Greenleaf family united against Harmony & Hope Ministries and Bob Whitmore (Beau Bridges). They were threatening Greenleaf of losing the trial, but their family secrets started disclosing, that created tension between the family members. So, in the upcoming season, the Greenleafs will try to stay united and fight against Bob and Ministries. However, their secrets will weaken their entire foundation.
