One of the main reasons why we won’t get Parasyte Season 2 is the lack of source material. The 24-episode first season had already consumed all available manga volumes. It has also completed the central storyline of the franchise. Hence, Madhouse currently has no content to create a sequel. Besides, Season 1 ended exactly where the manga did and also did full justice to its source material. Hence, there is practically no point in continuing the plot any further.

On the other hand, in the last few years, Madhouse or any other studio has not shown any interest in producing a sequel of Parasyte. Madhouse is one of the biggest animation studios that still exist. It has previously produced plenty of single-season anime. Hence, it’s not likely that the studio will pick up a series that has already ended.

Is There Any Hope For The Sequel?

As sad as it sounds, there is little to no hope for a renewal unless mangaka Hitoshi Iwaaki writes more manga volumes. Being an adaptation, the anime will require more source material for Parasyte Season 2. Unfortunately, in most of his interviews (till today), the veteran mangaka seems uninterested in continuing the manga’s story. He seems to be satisfied with the way Parasyte ended and does not intend to extend it any further.

Another way we can get a sequel is in the hands of Madhouse. The anime would return only if the studio creates an original story. Practically speaking, writers can still scoop out some story out of Season 1’s ending. The last episode of the anime hints at the possibility that there might be some parasites remaining in the world. These parasites who have learned to co-exist with humans might become the central characters of Parasyte Season 2.

As of now, the mangaka might take a while to complete the current arc. From where the story currently is, Fyodor’s storyline will wrap up within the next two manga volumes. This suggests that after the release of Volume 21, Studio Bones might have enough (and satisfactory) content for the fourth season. Earlier this year, Studio Bones confirmed another movie adaptation of the franchise. In a March 2020 tweet, the creators announced that the second movie would be called Bungo Stray Dogs BEAST. Studio Bones Announces A Spin-off Anime Series!

On June 16, 2020, the anime’s official Twitter account said that they’d be making an important announcement related to “Bungo Stray Dogs.” The next day, the creators announced the renewal of a spin-off anime series. The new series will be an adaptation of Kafka Asagiri’s 2016 spin-off manga series Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! Studio Bones is yet to announce an official release date of the upcoming anime.

Classroom Of The Elite Season 2: What Will Happen?

The story of the popular psychological thriller centers around the students of Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School. In a not too distant future, the Japanese government establishes an institution that fosters people that are expected to support the country. Viewers experience the adventures of the Elite School from the perspective of a D-class student, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji. Chances are high that Classroom Of The Elite might continue the plot from where the first season left. Hence, the story will be based on Volume 4 and the next few books of the LN series.

Towards the last couple of episodes, Ayanokoji orchestrated events in favor of Class D. His class turned out to be on top during the survival test on the deserted island. The upcoming season is expected to follow the group battles on the cruise ship. In this event, each group will be required to find the VIP out of the other groups. However, unlike other challenges, competitors will have to use their brains instead of their survival skills.
